Jana’s land is fantastic—spacious land with stunning views. The toilet is clean, and the area is large. Highly recommend this site to others.

Weekend Trip to Nerrigundah contrée sauvage

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Gunya Flat site. Jana was helpful and friendly upon arrival, and the raspberries he gave us were delicious! If you want to escape the crowded campsites, this is the place for you! There are 3 other sites but they are all separated. We enjoyed having a canoe and kayak in the near by creek! We visited nearby towns and the Redwoods which was only 30mins away! Great for big groups of families!

Lovely campsite and Kate and fam are great hosts. Super close to great walks and of course the Noojee Hotel. One for the animal lovers and very clean facilities.

Great stay with two young kids. Kate and Darren are super generous with their time and property - taking the time to show us and the kids all the animals. Kids loved feeding the alpacas, goat and horses. Meanwhile we got to camp right next to sheep, chickens and ducks. Toilet was super clean and owners had fire wood for purchase (super useful when you run out!). Highly recommend this spot for any type of camper but particularly for those seeker a quieter option. Toilet was super clean and while we didn’t need the camp kitchen it’s absolutely an amazing addition for those without caravans (fridge, toaster, kettle, tea, coffee and a fridge!).

We had a great 2 nights at Bunjil. It is on a working berry farm, the land itself is huge and so we weren’t anywhere near the other campers. It’s quiet and peaceful with lots of wildlife. Our dogs loved the space and freedom and being able to swim in the creek. Jana was awesome! Super efficient in communication, and gave us some delicious berries on our arrival. Instructions to get to the site were great and loved how he had them waiting for us along with some info about the area and things to do. The land itself was at a slight angle but it wasn’t a big deal. We will definitely be back!

We loved camping here. Kate and Darren were great hosts, very friendly and took the kids to meet and feed the animals which they loved. Beautiful location and wonderful place to camp, highly recommend.

Great site, great host. Good level of privacy and the kayaks turned out to be an unexpected highlight. Dogs loved exploring off leash and paddling in the creek. Would absolutely come back again and again!

Kate and Darren are super friendly and easy to talk to. We really appreciated how much effort they put into the farm and looking after all the animals! The location is great, not far from the M1. Once you get off the M1, the drive to the farm is really simple and not stressful at all. Plus, the scenery is really nice. The facilities are awesome! I think the toaster, kettle, and even the toilet were cleaner than the ones at my own house, not joking! And we really like the idea of having the camp kitchen next to our tent, make our setup way easier! There are so many chances to meet the animals and check out the area. Since we booked last minute, we didn’t have time to explore nearby places, but we’ll definitely be back. I’d definitely recommend coming again, maybe with a few other families so you can have the whole campsite together. It’s perfect for kids and makes camping so easy and fun, with many great memories. We have two kids ourselves, and it was just perfect for our family. And of course, Kate and Darren are wonderful hosts!

We had a fun and relaxing camping trip. The kids spent hours paddling on the dam! Our dog had the best time experiencing farm life with plenty of room to roam. Being surrounded by bush was relaxing and felt very private. Thanks for the delicious raspberries!

2 nights at Tonimbuk Farm

My first experience with Hipcamp and travelling solo in a van and could not have gone better. The dam view location was perfect and Rob and Leanne great hosts, made for a very enjoyable 2 night stay. I will definitely be back.

1 night at Galea Ranch

This is my second stay at Galea Ranch, and I felt just as welcomed as I did the first time. Wayne and Sharelle are truly exceptional hosts, warm, attentive, and always going above and beyond. I especially love the way they’ve set up a fire pit at each campsite, adding a lovely touch to the experience. The animals are another highlight, friendly and adorable, and you can even feed them apples. The location is also great, with plenty of nearby activities to enjoy.

Had a beautiful getaway with friends. The location is extremely peaceful and private, as you’re surrounded by trees, wildlife and water! Highly recommend to a big group of friends and families.

3 nights at Reedy Creek Camping

Peaceful spot in the valley with sugar gliders and waves of native birdlife coming through. Had a great time in this rustic spot. Loads of available firewood and I was amazed at the complete lack of flies and mozzies, so close to the big dam. Little doggo had a ball. Brilliant!!!

Weekend Trip to Galea Ranch

Camping at Galea Ranch was the best. So much thought and care put into a beautiful space. Lots of play options for my 5yo plus feeding apples to the animals. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. We'll be back, it was so easy. Thanks Sharelle and Wayne!

Weekend Trip to Whispering Gums

My daughter asked if she could take her friends camping for her 17th birthday… a ‘parenting win’ so I had to say yes! Luckily, I found Whispering Gums on here and immediately decided it was perfect. We weren’t disappointed in the slightest. A stunning spot, great setup, really friendly and generous hosts. We’ll be back, hopefully many times!

Absolute gem of a spot. Incredibly private, well maintained, level spots in a quiet location. Spotless bathroom and shower available as well: both were much appreciated. Hosts were lovely and provided apples to feed the bull, cow and horses. We will 100% be back.

Whispering Gums was a lovely, peaceful retreat only 90 minutes from Melbourne. Would not hesitate to recommend it to other campers.

Weekend Trip to Tonimbuk Farm

Absolutely had the best time - the farm is so beautiful with 3 very cute farm dogs in a beautiful part of the Bunyip state park ❤️ The hosts are very good at communicating and such a lovely family ❤️ our kids adored the animals and watching our for platypus which my husband saw❤️ highly recommend ❤️ psa no reception ( which was really refreshing) and don't go via camp road unless you have the right vehicle

We had such a great time staying at Miller’s farm! The facilities were excellent - well decked out kitchen and super clean toilet. We loved the chickens and will be back to meet the rest of the animals too! 10/10 ☺️

We welcome self-contained campers to enjoy the laid-back serenity of our farm stay setting. The property is situated adjacent to the State forest, so you'll have nature at your doorstep, with bush walks and an abundance of wildlife, not to mention meeting the local resident animals; Our two horses, our Highland cow Bonnie, Alpacas, sheep, many chickens, guinea pigs and of course, Zeik, our lovable Goat! We have plenty of green, open space, for you to set up. We also have an undercover area to sit, with fridge, kettle, toaster, and power point to charge phones which you are welcome to use. Please Note: There is a slight undulation in much of the cleared area, so some campers/caravans may require leveling. If you require a flat area, please message us to see if we have one available. Site 1 is for caravans and self contained campers Site 2 has access to a site toilet for non self contained campers... Public holidays/Long weekends have a minimum nightly stay, please message us for any queries. Please note, Millers Farm is a place for travelers who are after a peaceful, relaxing camping experience. It is not a place for rowdy groups. We love all animals including Dogs, but unfortunately, due to our roaming animals, we cannot entertain pets anymore. Long periods of wet weather may affect some of the camping areas. Therefore, we recommend keeping an eye on the weather report close to your stay and if you have any concerns, please touch base with us! OUR LOCATION: Neerim South is located in the southern foothills of the Great Dividing Range, there is so much to see and do nearby, including Neerim South Brewery, Toronga Water Falls, walking trails, the famous Noojee Pub, Mt Baw Baw tourist drive, Blue rock Lake which is great for fishing and swimming, there's old historical trestle bridges, Walhalla Mining town and lots more.

Chris & I are campers ourselves, so we know how nice it is to have a quiet and private spot all to ourselves, however before long you have people on top of you at caravan parks or at free camping you may experience the doof doof music until god knows what hour. So we offer exclusive private campsite all to your self, we only book one group at a time. Neerim South is home to many wildlife and expect to see many bird species, kangaroos, deer and the odd wombat trailing through. FIRE PLAN In the event of high fire danger periods our campers may be asked to evacuate the property for their safety. Instructions will be provided prior. In the event of fires in surrounding areas, it may be necessary to cancel a future booking and or evacuate the site at short notice, this will be reimbursed by Hipcamps. Campers will be notified in the event of total fire bans, this mean no outside fires.
