Just off the iconic Great Ocean Road lies our 6 acres in Mepunga! We are surrounded by dairy and beef farms and have 2 alpacas and a few beef of our own! Campers can enjoy mowed green grass looking out over the neighbouring farms. We are 20 minutes from Warrnambool, 10 minutes from Allansford and only 5 minutes from Nullawarre which has 24 hour fuel and a small supermarket and bottle shop. Come set up and then treat yourself to a sunset at Childers Cove, only 5 minutes down the road! A perfect stopover while travelling the Great Ocean Road!

Nestled right beside the Murrundini River, all 3 campsites are beside the river, and well spaced apart for privacy and peace. Campsite 2 (site two) is shady, surrounded by tall swamp gums, black wood wattles and tree ferns. This spot is at its best from late spring through to autumn . Site One is a large flat area beside the river that is good all year round. It has fencing and gates, perfect to let dogs run free without going too far. Site 3 (Craig's flat), is a large open campsite, able to take more camper-vans/ tents with plenty of space. All sites have fire places and gas BBQ's (byo gas bottle) And there are plenty of fish for those that want to try their luck. The original home stead (built in 1876) burnt down in the 2009 black Saturday fires. There still remains many 150+ year old elms and other European trees near the toilet block, which are delightful in autumn. We have some fantastic views from the hill up and down the Murundindi Valley, especially at sunset. We're located only a few short km's from Wilhelmina Falls and Murundindi Scenic Reserve, you get the best part of the river, without the crowds. We are a short drive from Melbourne, and easy access to the townships of Yea and Yarra Glen for supplies if you need them. Amazing, abundant and rare bird life to enjoy and photograph. (see guests photos). With no light pollution this is the ideal spot for star gazing.

We had a gorgeous stop over on Michael's property! The site was extremely private and we pulled in nice and close to the icy creek, which didn't stop the kids getting in and exploring for hours! We were self sufficient so didn't use the toilets on site, but Michael was extremely accommodating with our questions

We loved our campsite, right next the river and under shady trees. Spaced far enough away from other campers that you feel private. Toilet facilities and bbq made life really easy and host provided really clear instructions. We are definitely booking again.

A lovely campsite! We had the whole paddock to ourselves right by the river. Flushing toilet was only a short walk away but not too close! Mick was helpful, friendly and a quick responder via the app. We’ll be back with friends!

This place is just perfect if you want a getaway from the city and really experience what camping feels like. The host was also very kind, and I would come back without thinking twice. One thing I do recommend is bringing your own grill, because the ones they provide are rusty and it’s not a good idea to cook something like a barbecue on them.

We had a great time at Ferny Glades. Clean and tranquil listening to the river while sitting around the campfire. Michael was helpful and upbeat. It was easy to find and we fitted our van there easily. We will be back.

Loved my solo stay at Fern Glade Site 3. Spacious, natural, beautiful and remote enough to feel like a break from the world and I was lucky enough to be the only person at the entire campsite. Michael was great to chat to, helpful, communities and full of useful info about the site and the area. Facilities were simple but did the job perfectly and there are plenty of little nooks and walks to explore on the property. I'll definitely be back!
