As a working sand quarry 45 years ago the natural beauty was denuded, but the scars have long since vanished beneath native vegetation that is gradually reinstating the natural temperate rainforest that belongs here. See where the early succession wattles have built the soil for the later herbs and shrubs, and witness the influx of flora and fauna. The 17 acres contains some cleared areas, some natural bush, some natural regeneration and a small pine forest.
Wildlife abounds, from baby wedgetail eagles and peregrine falcons to wallabies swimming in water troughs on hot days, elusive Gippsland Giant Earthworms, and regular wombat visitors. Still, cold nights are prime owl-calling conditions with sound travelling beautifully across the valleys.
Wander around the property independently, or join the host—an experienced grassland ecologist—for a guided tour.
This property provides a real getaway, with camping provided a good distance off the road. Travelling horses can be accommodated by arrangement in either a stable, or yards. A 20x60m sand arena can be used by arrangement.
Solo female campers are particularly welcomed & supported in this secluded and safe environment, with on site female host.
Local Interests: Mount Worth State Park, with its incredible giant tree walk and fern gullies, is only 10 minutes away. You can also travel along the iconic Grand Ridge Road, with its cathedral-like forests, toward Tarra-Bulga National Park to explore walking trails through cool temperate rainforest. The Grand Ridge Rail Trail begins 45 minutes away at Mirboo North.
Cafés, galleries, breweries, and wineries are close at hand, and daffodil farms that ablaze in golden glory form part of the view. Lardner Park, with its many field days and functions, is a short 15-minute drive. The surf beach at Inverloch can be reached in one hour, while the mountain resort of Mount Baw Baw is 1.5 hours to the north.

Pollys paddock is named after a beautiful palomino horse named Polly, who lived here as a loved member of our family into her early 40s.
Polly's Paddock is a quiet camping area on the Mornington Peninsula. We are a couples, mates , friends , camping (adults only), no children, for safety reasons with a dam close by.
Only 15 minutes from Mount Martha village and Mornington, restaurants, amazing wineries, weekend markets, cafes and golf courses.
We are 10 minutes from swimming beaches and 20 minutes from surf beaches.
This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block.
We offer 2 flat caravan or tent sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power.
There is also a site with a glamping tent set in the garden.
The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided.
It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks.
All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet, and out doors bath.
For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam.
Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater.
Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here.
No dogs on the glamping tent site.
Campfires are allowed during the cooler months, left to the hosts discretion for safety reasons. We supply a fire pit. BYO wood.
No fires apart from in the fire pits provided are to be lit. Fires are to be extinguished before going to bed or leaving.

Located on the edge of the picturesque town of Buln Buln postcode 3821 (not Moe) take in views of rolling green hills and heritage listed oak trees while the gentle cattle and sheep graze nearby paddocks.
We have access to power and river water on all three sites (not suitable for drinking) but no toilet so your vehicle must be fully self contained.
One site is a drive through concrete slab, the other two are grassed sites. The grassed sites are next to each other and the slab site is on the opposite site of the driveway.
There is a free public dump point available at Neerim South (a 10 minute drive north)
10 minutes drive to the larger township of Warragul.
Firewood and eggs from our happy free range hens can be provided for an additional fee. (Please note our hens are currently moulting so we have none available, so sorry!) Please only use the provided fire pits and no fires are allowed on total fire ban days.
There is no access to the main house or paddocks unless accompanied by the property host.
There is some traffic noise during the day but the nights are peaceful.
Dogs are welcome but please ensure that they remain on leads at all times.
Each site is limited to one vehicle and van or single campervan. Should you have a larger group and want to bring additional vehicles please book an additional site.

Up the driveway is private for the the glampers (not campers) only please.
There are two cabins and a yurt that share a unique dining/kitchen area paired with shared private toilet, outdoor shower and hot and cold bath under the stars for a very relaxing memorable time in nature should you not want to camp.
The cabins are converted shipping containers. Cabin 1 has a king bed, Cabin 2 has 2 double beds (bunk style) and a yurt (1 - 4 people). Shared facilities. Please do note the yurt does not have electricity however we supply portable flood lights to hang in trees and inside. Charging station in the toilet shed or kitchen. The yurt is approx 150 meters from the cabins. It has one super comfortable king and two single matresses. It's warm and so peaceful you will never want to leave. Mains water tap nearby.
Pet fee $40 per stay, per pet. Please clean up after them

What a stunning getaway, an hour from home.
From the minute we drove through the gates and saw that view, we were greeted by a friendly face, you made us feel so welcome, it was like a home away from home. The stress of even normal suburban life seemed to leave both our bodies in an instant.
An hour later we were siting around the campfire with views out over the dam and jetty to the mountains in the background, over arched by a breathtaking sunset of orange and pink.
Thankyou for allowing us the opportunity to experience a taste of your everyday it made my wife’s birthday, can’t wait to come back with the grandkids

I really enjoyed staying at the NRMA Phillip Island Beachfront Park Ensuite Site. It offers easy access to the beach and it is only a short walk to Thompson Avenue and the Cowes pier. The Ensuite Site is perfect for a stop over or for a longer stay. Great place to refresh after a few nights out bush camping. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay from when we arrived to when we left. We had sites 1 and 2 which were opposite each other. Site 1 with the concrete slab and Site 2 had access to an undercover shed which was perfect to stay out of the wintery rain and wind. Jarrod and Linda had left a fire drum and we paid $10 extra for firewood which was excellent as we arrived after work.
The sites are close to the road however well sheltered with minimal traffic after dark. Great views of Gippsland’s green rolling hills on one side and at night you can see the lights of Warragul on the other side. Thank-you Jarrod and Linda.

The host was very lovely and the location was also breath taking during sunset and sunrise. Campground was very clean and easy to setup my camp. The location was also easy to get to and not too far from the main road.

The location is fantastic with the Koala sanctuary across the road and Maze N things next door, the site is clean and tidy, the staff are so warm and friendly. We had the en suite pitch and the facilities were really clean and modern. Also the penguin parade is a really easy 10-15min drive and perfectly easy to do in a Motorhome.

Super easy to book and contact with host - Linda - was spot on. We stayed at site #2, which was level and easy to pull into.

We had such a great stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Jarrod and Linda were fantastic hosts - very friendly and even popped by to say hello and make sure everything was going well, which was a really nice touch.
The sites were clean, well maintained and the pricing was excellent especially considering power and water were included. It made the whole stay feel like great value.
The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for unwinding. The kids absolutely loved the friendly cows and sheep, and being able to feed them was a real highlight.
There’s also a local town just a short drive away, making it super easy to grab supplies if needed.
We’d definitely come back again!
