Amazing place for our first time staying at a farm. Damien the host greeted us when we arrived and welcomed us and also provided us with a fire pit. The farm is in walking distance to the beach and local shop. This is in a great location and highly recommended. We will definitely be coming back and staying again

3 nights at Aireys Inlet - Home Base 1

We had a great time at Home Base 2 with our caravan. It’s a small bush area at the back of Kendra and Matt’s property so not out of the way feeling, but an amazing location near the beach and centre of Airey’s Inlet. Proper toilet and enclosed outdoor hot water shower were both fantastic - we really appreciated the shower after coming back from the sea cold and sandy! Matt had left out keg fire pits and wood for a camp fire in the evening. We would definitely come back here if we wanted another long weekend at the beach.

Loved our recent stay here, well positioned to explore the Great Ocean Road without being caught up in the tourist hot spots, enjoyed a lovely rustic farm stay. The views was incredible, the cows adorable and the visiting farm dog full of energy and cuddles. The camp area isn’t the tidiest but after the initial view you don’t really notice. Will stay there again!

We loved our stay - we couldn’t believe how far away it felt yet so close to Melbourne. Truely a secret oasis. Great directions and communication from Michael. The gazebo and amenities were excellent. Loved the hammock too. Went for a swim and watched a beautiful sunset over the hills.

Damien was such a fantastic host — super lovely and incredibly accommodating. He made us feel right at home and even offered us a fire pit, and had a chat with us explaining the farm and the animals he has on it which made our stay even more special (including some of the beautiful visiting bats and black parakeets) The location is absolutely stunning. We woke up with a mild sea breeze while looking over the beautiful farm. It was peaceful, spacious, and just what we needed to unwind. There’s so much room to spread out, and the whole vibe is just pure serenity.

Loved the peaceful location. Troy is a great host, very available and super helpful. Porter loos provided with lots of loo paper. Great for doggos, just be aware of the wildlife. Good proximity to towns to restock or for a coffee. Limited mobile reception not a problem for us but be aware.

So many great reviews already and all deservingly so! I booked for 3 days and stayed for 5 (subject to availability ) because it was such a lovely spot. You can enjoy your coffee while listening to bell birds and absolutely no other sounds.. great area and shops near by too. The hosts are lovely folk, definitely available if you need something, otherwise they’ll leave you to enjoy the serenity. Unless of course some idiot lights a fire in fire ban season, then you can expect a visit ! (So sorry about that once again!) I Can’t recommend this destination strongly enough. Don’t hesitate

Six excellent hideaway Camping sites to choose from. Some close to the water. Large sites which can handle 40 campers per site. Good areas of bushland and also a working sheep farm. Very private areas for camping. Campfires available but only in months when fire restrictions are not in force. A wide range of birdlife and duck life, wildlife including kangaroos, possums, echidnas. In wet weather you may need a 4 wheel drive vechile to access some of the sites. You will need to bring all your camping gear as these are tent and vechile sites only. We dont have any huts at this stage. 30 minute drive to Ballarat, 45 Min Geelong, 2 minutes drive to the village of Elaine and The Farmgate Shop which is open 7 days a week with a full range of all groceries, bbq needs, drinks, snacks, etc. 5 minutes to dollys creek, 5 minutes to Mt Doran/Lal Lal, 10 minutes to Meredith. With no camping permitted at Anakie Gorge, our property gives you a tranquil overnight stay in direct proximity for an early start to the Anakie Gorge Walk without having to drive home at the end of the day. Choose from 3 carefully selected camp sites and set up base camp to enjoy day trips exploring the local wineries, such as del Rios, walking and cycling trails of the You Yangs State Park, and Serendip Wildlife Sanctuary, or as a convenient overnight stop on your way to explore the Great Ocean Road or before/after your trip on the Spirit of Tasmania. The camping area is easily accessed from maintained roads, where guests can drive in and park on the spacious lower paddock (no reversing or 3-point-turns necessary). As this beautiful, secluded location is off-grid, guests will need to be Self Contained (BYO toilet/shower) and Leave No Trace. If you would like to enjoy our property all to yourself, simply book two of the campsites, and send us a message and we will happily reserve the 3rd campsite for your group free of charge. We are happy to consider additional guests and up to 1 extra vehicle per campsite (camping with your friends, their kids and yours is more fun!) however, ensure to contact the Host to request and arrange this at the time of booking. Up the driveway as that for the glampers where there are two cabins and a yurt that share a unique dining/kitchen area paired with shared private toilet, outdoor shower and hot and cold bath under the stars for a very relaxing memorable time in nature. The cabins are converted shipping containers. Cabin 1 has a king bed, Cabin 2 has 2 double beds (bunk style) and a yurt (up to 4 poeple) share the facilities. Please do note the yurt does not have direct electricity and supplied are these wonderful portable flood lights to hang in trees and inside. Charging station in the toilet shed or kitchen. The yurt is approx 150 meters from the cabins and very private. It has one king matress and two single mattresses that normally make up a couch to rest on. It's warm and so peaceful you will never want to leave. Total capacity 1 - 10 people in the cabins/yurt.

We have a fully functioning toilet, can run power to your camp (no shower facility). We have an inground trampoline, half court basketball/netball court. Our small inground pool, camp kitchen (with hotwater, kitchen sink, fridge, pool table, lounge and tv), BBQ, Fire pit are avaliable by agreement at extra costs. Our acerage can cater for small groups of up to 15 people, your van/tent/RV or ours. Pets allowed by agreement and must be on lead at all times. We have free range geese, chooks and a friendly staffy. There is no need for an alarm clock our Roosters have that covered.
