The property is a working cattle grazing farm with large grassy sites available. There is plenty of wildlife watching available so be sure to keep an eye out for koalas, echidnas, wedge tail eagles, owls, wallabies and wombats. There is also plenty of bushwalking available in the nearby flora and fauna reserve. We are also close to rail trail which is popular for bike riding and walking. Relax under the shady gums and enjoy the sounds of natures, pan for gold in the creek or prospect around old Gobur town. Yarck country market is on the 3rd Saturday of every month. General store and giddy goat cafe in Yarck. Bucks bakery in Yarck serve superb pies and sweet treats. Yarck pub nearby has great meals, pet friendly beergarden, ice and takeaways Yarck produce store is open 7 days, stocking steaks, sausages, salami, vegetables, bread and milk. Campfires are permitted only in a metal fire pit, supplied when firewood bundle is purchased or bring your own but any council restrictions must be observed by campers. Bucket of water must be on hand and adult supervision required at all times whenever a fire is lit. Water from creek for washing is on tap and rainwater for drinking is available for campers. Pets are allowed but must be on a leash and kept under the owners control at all times. Campers are welcome to set up on the grassy camp area or if they prefer privacy may set up away from others. Let the host know your wishes. Vehcles must not be driven randomly across paddocks, please follow tracks as guided by host. Party equipment, DJ decks and lighting is only made available to those who book all campsites. Message me for more info.

River’s Edge Estate is like a precious gem set on the breathtaking backdrop of the Goulbourne River - part or the Murray Darling basin. There are no amenities here, campers must be self contained and leave no trace. Access 4 Wheel Drive only. There is one access to the river via the road at the front of the property. As you drive down the drive way, you will pass three dams on the left with the third dam being the largest. The north facing hill above the dams is a vineyard which has been in production in the past. Now the crows and cockatoos wait patiently every season for their annual feast of Cabernet grapes. At the river you where you camp you can enjoy walking along the river and the associated activities such as fishing swimming and enjoy the physical environment. The area is home to a family of platypuses.

We are located on the western slope of the Cathedral with beautiful views to its peak as well as across the Acheron valley to the Black Range and South to Dom Dom and the Black Spur. This property was previously a home site but was burned out in the 2009 fires. Now being returned to nature and available for camping only. Two dams and a seasonal creek attract birds and local wildlife. A total of 30 acres is available for exploring and enjoying the views. This private location has a single site with power and water, suitable for two vans or several camper trailers, a flushing toilet and further grassed areas suitable for tents and camper trailers. A camp shelter currently under construction will provide somewhere out of the weather with lighting, water and power available. The property is located 30 minutes from Lake mountain where you can ski during winter or hike and mountain bike during summer. Lake Eildon is also 30 minutes away and a great venue for fishing, swimming and boating. The Acheron, Rubicon and Goulburn rivers are close by and suitable for fishing and kayaking. Mountain bike riders can also try the tracks at Buxton or Eildon. There are many hiking/walking options including the historical Rubicon Valley just 20 minutes away. If you are into 4wd’ing or trail bikes there are many tracks in the Black Range across the road or the Big River area.

The property is bordered by he Murrundini River on one side, 1km, with hill side views on the other. All campsites have easy access the river, and well spaced apart for privacy and peace. Site One is a large flat area close to the river that is good all year round. It has fencing and gates, perfect to let dogs run free without going too far. Site 3 (Craig's flat), is a large open campsite, able to take more camper-vans/ tents with plenty of space. All sites have fire places and gas BBQ's (byo gas bottle) And there are plenty of fish for those that want to try their luck. All sites and river swimming are clothing optional, but please respect other campers in public area's if on site. In response to a recent review, I will point out that the driveway is a gravel farm track. Normal 2Wd cars have not had any recent issues. We have some fantastic views from the hill up and down the Murundindi Valley, especially at sunset. We're located only a few short km's from Wilhelmina Falls and Murundindi Scenic Reserve, you get the best part of the river, without the crowds. We are a short drive from Melbourne, and easy access to the townships of Yea and Yarra Glen for supplies if you need them. Amazing, abundant and rare bird life to enjoy and photograph. (see guests photos). I am hoping to increase the nesting and habitat for as many local birds as possible, which has improved, but can get better with Your help. Not destroying large logs and tree's is first and foremost. But if you are inclined , funds for creating nesting spots are greatly appreciated. You can directly ask for donations to go towards specific prospects/ projects. Tawney frog mouths, king parrots, and many, many other birds call this place home. For donations specific to conservation, please contact me direct. With recent changes, Temporarily, removing site 2. please contact me for regulars. With no light pollution this is the ideal spot for star gazing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Timo’s. It has a lovely secluded feel while still being close to everything you need. The site is well maintained, with power and water conveniently nearby. The view of Mount Samaria over the berry fields is beautiful. Timo was very friendly, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. Would happily stay again.

This is a beautiful quiet spot to set up. Nice and level and the added bonus of water and power. We sat and watched kookaburras fly over the rows of berry bushes. Close to town and shops, but so peaceful. We unfortunately had to leave early due to an emergency at home, but the kindness from the property owners was felt. Will stay nowhere else when visiting Mansfield again.

Weekend Trip to The Little Berry Farm

Great spot to stay for large or small caravan, plenty of space to yourself, where you can explore all the surrounding areas and know you can come back to a peaceful and private spot and relax. Close to town 1,3 km walk to shops and restaurants. 30-40mins drive to Mount Bulla, Jamieson, Goughs Point. The Maze and Gardens a nice place to visit for casual lunch and explore amazing gardens. Timo made sure we settled in and had everything we needed. Thanks Timo.

Weekend Trip to The Little Berry Farm

We had a fantastic stay at this Hipcamp! The hosts were welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The site itself was exceptionally clean and offered plenty of privacy, making it a peaceful retreat. One of the best aspects was the location—it was close to town, which made it convenient for any necessities, yet it remained quiet and serene. We felt like we had the best of both worlds! Overall, we highly recommend this Hipcamp for anyone looking for a well-maintained, private, and conveniently located camping spot with a great host. We would definitely stay here again!

Very convenient location, close to town and good for day trips to Mount Buller, Jamieson River, King Valley etc. Site is in a private location overlooking blueberry bushes. Timmo, Emily and Family are excellent hosts. They are friendly, informative and made us feel at home. We will definitely stay there again.
