The property is a working cattle grazing farm with large grassy sites available. There is plenty of wildlife watching available so be sure to keep an eye out for koalas, echidnas, wedge tail eagles, owls, wallabies and wombats. There is also plenty of bushwalking available in the nearby flora and fauna reserve. We are also close to rail trail which is popular for bike riding and walking. Relax under the shady gums and enjoy the sounds of natures, pan for gold in the creek or prospect around old Gobur town. Yarck country market is on the 3rd Saturday of every month. General store and giddy goat cafe in Yarck. Bucks bakery in Yarck serve superb pies and sweet treats. Yarck pub nearby has great meals, pet friendly beergarden, ice and takeaways Yarck produce store is open 7 days, stocking steaks, sausages, salami, vegetables, bread and milk. Campfires are permitted only in a metal fire pit, supplied when firewood bundle is purchased or bring your own but any council restrictions must be observed by campers. Bucket of water must be on hand and adult supervision required at all times whenever a fire is lit. Water from creek for washing is on tap and rainwater for drinking is available for campers. Pets are allowed but must be on a leash and kept under the owners control at all times. Campers are welcome to set up on the grassy camp area or if they prefer privacy may set up away from others. Let the host know your wishes. Vehcles must not be driven randomly across paddocks, please follow tracks as guided by host. Party equipment, DJ decks and lighting is only made available to those who book all campsites. We had such a lovely stay at David's, beautiful site and location. David was so lovely and welcoming! We have two young energetic boys who loved running around, bike riding, and exploring. Honestly couldn't have a better time. Thank you David!

Loved our stay at the farm! Great scenery, clean port-aloo and a great place to relax. There were about 5 other sets of campers and weren’t too close together. Was provided table and fire pit and great wood! Was well looked after by David with anything we needed! Great stay, nice drive around and can’t wait to be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a great spot — we had an amazing time and will definitely be back again soon! The site itself is stunning. Beautifully maintained, clean, and genuinely dog-friendly. The toilets were well maintained throughout the weekend. Our host was a real highlight. Warm, funny, and genuinely helpful without being overbearing. What impressed us was the thought he puts in before you even arrive — he takes the time to learn about each group and allocates sites accordingly, so everyone ends up somewhere that actually suits them. You can tell he cares that people have a good time, and it shows. And then on Easter morning, he showed up with freshly baked hot cross buns he'd made himself - a real treat. If you're considering booking, do it. Brilliant site, brilliant host.

Absolutely brilliant Hipcamp. Our host David couldn’t have done more for us; greeted us on arrival, was generous with his time (and snacks) and kept the site facilities tip top. It’s a stunning natural spot, by a creek and with a small lake for swimming, we had the best Easter weekend. Highly recommend this secluded and pretty little camping site. 10/10

We absolutely loved camping at David’s farm. He was welcoming from the start and offered us zooper doopers, hot cross buns and even came back with gluten free options after he found out my husband and daughter were coeliac. Peaceful camp site which was nice and quiet for a long weekend at Easter. Not over populated. Great toilet access. Our kids and dogs loved splashing in the shallow creek and wandering around the paddock playing with their toys and looking for animals. Would definitely come again!

Its a good spot and David is a good host. However, we went during a busy period, and although the sites are generous, if your neighbours decide they want to kick on until 2 am, you're on your own. Meaning the cerfues are loosely enforced. To be fair David issued a partial refund. Off peak it'd be an excellent spot.

What an incredible spot! David was one of the most helpful and generous hosts, and we really appreciated having him around, he sorted anything we needed and was super welcoming. The views were stunning, lots of lovely walks nearby and the portaloos were always clean and stocked up. Do not hesitate to book this spacious and beautiful spot for your next camping spot, you will be well looked after! Thank you Dave & team!!

Absolutely beautiful location, loads of space for all of our tents and camper vans right by the creek in a beautiful green field. David is an absolute legend! Greeted us at the gate on the way in, and consistently checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, even bought me a glass for my Guiness! Would 100% visit again, 10/10.

We had a great stay at this campsite. Davis was a fantastic host-very responsive, welcoming, and helpful. When our car battery drained in the morning, he quickly helped us jump-start it. Highly recommend!

We had a beautiful 2 night stay at Godfreys Creek. David was very friendly and accommodating, and the site is just lovely - great views and really fun for kids. Ours spent the afternoon splashing in the creek and looking at the cows. It was great to be able to have a fire, and David helped us out with firewood. We were lucky to have it all to ourselves. It was so great we didn’t leave the farm! We would definitely come here again.

Despite being a really cold & wet long weekend, we had a very enjoyable stay at Abminga Creek Acess with a van was easy, the sites are level and flat, making set up very quick. Dave has done a fantastic job with providing clean loos, bbqs, firepits and even an under cover picnic table. The area along the creek is beautiful, with plenty of fallen branches for firewood. Dave is a very welcoming host and knows the area really well sharing info for things to see and do. It was great speaking to him about his farm, and the gold history of the area. Highly recommend this hipcamp!

Starting off with a warm welcome by the host, showing us around to ensure we are comfortable. Flat surface with a lot privacy. It was raining quite badly overnight, and host was so kind to check on us and offered assistance. Highly recommend.

We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. We had the good fortune of having this fantastic property all to ourselves. David was great to deal with and his property is extremely well kept The toilet facilities were impeccably clean. There is plenty to do to keep the kids entertained from fishing to panning for gold. We will definitely be returning.

We had a fantastic time camping at this peaceful spot by the creek. Dave, our host, was incredible—super friendly and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The toilets were clean (huge plus!) and everything was well-maintained. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Frequent check-ins from David and gifts from his on our first and last day. Toilets smell great and clean, which is so rare when you go camping. The camp site offers great views of the cattle and night starry sky.

Great spot by the creek. Dave was an awesome host who checked in regularly to make sure everything was good. Toilets were clean and the view was amazing. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time and David was an awesome host. Lovely property by the creek with excellent grassy, level camp sites. We received a generous amount of fire-wood and the fire pit provided was the perfect size. Although we didn’t use it, there was also a very good BBQ at the site. David, was a friendly and obliging host. He offered us Easter Eggs and Zooper Doopers in the afternoons, which were greatly appreciated. On a clear night, the stars are amazing at this camp. Thanks David, we’ll be back again.

We loved this place for camping, the best spot we have camped , beautiful view and quiet perfect if you wanna have a rest, no body close to you no music it was perfect for us, David was really nice he checked us twice per day if we needed something, he gave us Easter eggs. Plus of this place there is a little puppy Maggie she is so cute.

We highly recommend camping at Abaminga Creekfront Flats. The site was clean, the toilets were impeccable, and the views were amazing. The host, David, was respectful and helpful, regularly checking on us and providing useful information about activities and things to do nearby. My daughter enjoyed feeding the cows and learning how to fish in the farm dam. We will definitely be back!"

We loved our time camping at Godfreys Creek over the long weekend! David is a really terrific host - ensuring we had a suitably quiet spot for us to camp, providing us with some great sightseeing ideas in the area, and checking in with us to make sure we were comfortable. David's farm is beautiful and our campsite was great for our tents - grassy and level. Great sunsets and sunrises, and great location to explore the area. We would totally recommend to others and hope to visit again soon!

We had a fantastic stay over two nights. David was very communicative and met us by the gate to show us where our site would be. We were even given the option of camping a little further away along the creek for the serenity. The site is nice and flat, with beautiful views across the farm and surrounding rolling hills. We also had access to drinking water and honestly the cleanest, best stocked port-a-loo I've ever seen in my life. David came around to check in on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed, and so did Pip, one of the farm dogs, who gave us good company and plenty of affection on the second night we stayed. I definitely recommend camping here.

David was so friendly and helpful. He guided us to our stay with his sheep dogs in quick persuit. He had the knowledge of the best sunset spots and angles for the camera. The site itself and its location to Bonnie Doon, Mansfield & Strathbogie will have me coming back again and ill bring some more company too! The portaloo was exceptionally clean and the grounds well kept. Thanks for your humour, it was a real delight! Hugs to Pip the dog! 🐾
