This is a wonderfully private and peaceful camp nestled between huge stunning oak trees. Huge area for dogs to run off leash. About 25mins from Lorne, it was wonderful making our way home to this peace. “The Store” is also an incredible gem, not just your little store making coffee.. but a huge range of gourmet food and treats, selected local region delicacies, a foodies heaven! All of these factors combined to make a wonderful long weekend for us, just what we need ere looking forward to! We will certainly be back.

Lovely position amongst the Oak trees. Quiet & private. The grounds are well maintained with a stone bordered fire pit at its centre. A short walk to the local general store is a must for morning coffee or a spot of lunch.

Not impressed.
Bush fire were in next town , so I cancelled and asked for a refund.
Reply was campsite was not under threat.
Common sense don’t drive onto a fire zone.

Beautiful camp spot! Nestled amongst oak trees, the site was flat and well maintained. The property itself is pretty and there is a duck pond that makes for a lovely outlook. Truly wonderful.

Nice little camping spot with a good flat area and a well thought out fire pit, perfect entry level “off grid” spot as in less than 5 mins you can walk to The Store and get some creature comforts. It isnt the kind of spot where you are in the middle of no where, which is sometimes what we are after, but for what it is, it is well setup.

Great shed book store across the road, found some gem first editions and out of print books.
Fantastic general store also across the road.
Great country cricket club, enjoyed watching a game after a long ride, the cold beers and local banter was memorable.

Lovely spot at Deans Marsh about 22min up a very steep and windy road. The entrance is via the red gate. Across the paddock is the DM reserve and has a park, bike pump track (dirt), barbeques and flushing toilets. Quiet location. Communicated via app but did call Jason directly when we could not find the entrance. He was kind and helpful. Awesome to be charged per vehicle and not per person!

Great spot, private, safe & conveniently located. We pitched a tent and enjoyed the sounds of the possums munching on the acorns during the night. The Store a short walk away was fabulous. Great food, coffee, beer & wine available. Nice to be away from the busy camp sites and in close proximity to the Otways, Lorne, Forrest & Pennyroyal Berry picking 😊

We absolutely loved our stay at Oak Trees and we will absolutely be going back!
Having The Store just down the road for a morning coffee, and the recreation reserve just over the fence was great for us.
The sound of the breeze in the oak trees was really peaceful also!

We had a fantastic time at Oak Trees. Jason was very responsive to questions and had his parents meet us at the gate and showed us the perfect spot to set up. Very private, clean and pretty. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back, plus our dog had an absolute ball. Thanks 😊👍

Just an idealic great location not far from the magnificent Great Ocean Road beaches etc plus winerys brewerys etc etc. Sitting by a luck at Deans Marsh with a great foodstore next door with everything what more do you need. Exemplary stay.

We loved camping here! The site was easy to get in and out of, it was private, but still within walking distance to the general store. We loved the fire pit, watching the stars at night and all of the birds in the dam. It was not too far to drive to Lorne to get on the Great Ocean Road, and was nice to come back to somewhere quiet after spending our days out exploring. Would definitely love to stay again!

I think I have found one of my favourite places to camp in Victoria. Peaceful, private and the perfect place to relax away from city life. My doggo loved the space to run around in followed by a cooling off dip in the lake.

This was a great little campsite set amongst some large Oak trees and overlooking a large dam filled with bird life.
An easy stroll down to the corner store for a wonderful breakfast and good coffee made it a very relaxing stay.
