The Valley of a Thousand Hills, Murchison's Gap

Boisdale - Carver's Flat

On 20 acres, covenanted as Land for Wildlife, Boisdale [pron. 'Bwah-Dale', from the French, meaning wood, or forest, valley] there's a permanent creek [the King Parrot] with swimming holes and paddling areas, and access to flat or gently undulating campsites in what must be one of the prettiest valleys in Australia - if not the world, but I am biased.Access is via a 14ft gate entry and ok for caravans being towed by 4WD. Also great for camper trailers, tent campers & swags. High clearance 2WD access is ok.We need campers to be self-sufficient with own amenities. This means own camping toilet and leave no trace. We want you to leave the space how you found it.We are dog friendly as long as they are well controlled.Campfires are permitted as long as restrictions aren't in place. Firewood can be gathered from fallen timber in the vicinity.BYO water. We have rainwater tanks at the house if you need to fill up drinking water in an emergency and access to mains power on application.

Galahad's Animal Sanctuary and B&B

Feel like getting away? Relax and unwind in our self contained in-house accommodation, enjoying panoramic views of Mt Macedon. Sleep in a luxurious king size four poster bed. You will have a separate entrance, bathroom & kitchenette with modern conveniences such as a coffee machine, microwave & oven.  As well as filtered water, Bluetooth stereo, TV, Netflix, DVDs, WiFi, games & books. Your own fully fenced garden, shared spa, shared outdoor washing machine, dryer & undercover outdoor dining table.

30 picturesque acres in Gisborne with views to Mount Macedon.  We are an animal rescue sanctuary and have rescued camels, horses, sheep, cows, donkeys, alpacas and chickens as well as dogs.  Please note these are very friendly animals, the 18 sheep are particularly friendly and curious.  The sheep roam the property.

The property has two dams, it is well treed with large open parts and has a beautiful view to Mount Macedon.  Kangaroos, possums and echidnas also live here.  

You are welcome to walk the property and visit the farm animals during your stay (as long as you stay on the outside of paddocks/yards).

Access for caravans and trailers. Gravel entrance. Can be boggy in wet weather - please check with me. No amenities so campers must have own toilet and leave no trace. Dogs permitted but must be well behaved and not chase livestock (on lead). Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place (gather your own).

Seven Hills Tallarook

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. 

We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies.

Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. 

Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. 

Additionally, we have now entered our Fire Danger Period for the 2024/2025 Summer Season. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property & family. 

Magic Mountain

Nestled amongst the mountains just outside of the township of Whittlesea our 40-acre property sits above the clouds.  This experience comes with sweeping views, a hidden waterfall, a clear campground, and plenty of wildlife. 

The camping area is accessible by 4WD only, otherwise, strap on a backpack and earn it! (800m walk/hike from where a non-4WD can park). The waterfall is reached by a single trail track from the campsite, and you do need to be an experienced hiker to get to the waterfall. Which is part of the appeal! 

We welcome self-contained campers, who bring their own toilet and take all waste with them. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy.

Or choose to stay in our beautiful A-frame cabin, with plush bedding, cozy fire, and outdoor lounge.  More than anything else this is a place to relax and be away from normal, live outside yourself, and rediscover what weekends are for. 

Dogs are welcome, so long as they don't bother the wildlife. 

Campfires are allowed, BYO firewood or campers can collect fallen timber from the property.

Springview Farm

37 acre farm nestled between Cardinia Reservoir and Lysterfield Lake Park.

Two luxury Bell Tents with a Queen Bed in each tent.  Extra beds for Children are $25 per person.

Beautiful isolated property with giant tree ferns, bushland and grassy paddocks. The campsite is next to our spring fed dam and backs onto 10acres of bushland. The dam is great for kayaking, swimming, fishing. There is plenty of room for footy, cricket, volleyball or just relaxing. Our farm is home to our 5 pet cows, 12 sheep, 3 Goats, 6 horses and chooks. Kangaroo, deer, echidna and wombats are seen roaming daily. We grow our own fruit and veggies, make preserves and also have bee hives. We are opening our farm up to share our country lifestyle.

Only 45 minutes from Melbourne CBD making it a perfect location for corporate functions, brand launches, small private functions, photo shoots, film productions.

 Please note we are NOT a party venue for loud music and drunkeness.

Totally private, secluded and surrounded by native bushland, paddocks and our spring fed dam.

Our animals and native animals call this area home.  Grass, animals and bare feet do not mix with broken glass. We live in a delicate beautiful area filled with native flora and fauna.
