Brilliant place to stay and it exceeded all of our expectations. The place provides a beautiful sunset over the rolling hills, plus caters for those that want to camp or stay on a bed, with toilets and a shower. I genuinely don't do reviews that often, but this place was terrific.

Weekend Trip to The Forest Cottage- Trentham

A great little private cottage located on the rear of the property with easy access to the forest walking trails. We enjoyed 3 nights of peace, serenity and the laughter of kookaburras. Our 4yo loved exploring and discovering native animals and bee hives nearby while our older teens loved the nightly outdoor and indoor fires and accompanying roasts and marshmallow s'mores. Kitchen was well equipped to handle family meal time and the indoor wood heater kept the cottage toasty all night. Recommended for anyone requiring the connection that stems from the disconnect of technology.

We had a lovely two days at this hut. We walked directly from the hut to Lyonville and Trentham with lunch at Trentham, an excellent day out. The hut was clean, dry with plenty of wood, we were very warm. The indoors composting toilet was easy to use and odour free.

We stayed at Breakaway Twin Rivers Park last week in the 3 bedroom cabin. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and convenient. we really enjoyed our stay, Reception was so helpful and told us of the towns near by and also brought over our fire pit and wood. Very friendly and caring! The scenery was Amazing and we are sad we couldn’t get a spot for christmas time as it would be amazing. we are re booking in a few months to take our family. can’t wait to be back!! We loved our time at The Forrest Cottage. It was bigger than it looked in the pictures, and had everything we needed. Really wonderful weekend escape. My partner and puppy and I enjoyed a farm stay here at Anne Maree's cute cabin. It had everything we needed and was easy to find, the farm grounds are huge and we couldn't even manage to walk the whole property! Friendly dogs on the farm that would visit us. The cabin it Esse was lovely and well presented, heating, comfy bed, kitchen with everything needed and am amazing bathroom with rain shower. The jacuzzi looked lovely but it was raining the entire stay, and it was not working anyway(the owner was extremely apologetic about this, and made up for it, by offering other alternatives and also made us home made scones, lamb shank soup and some other goodies, she didn't need to do this however Anne Maree was lovely and a proper host) this made us feel so comfortable and welcome and we already want to go back!! Hoping the rain is not there and the jacuzzi is fixed the next time we are there, Thankyou Ann Maree for a wonderful stay

Weekend Trip to Weemalah Cabin & Camping

Had the most serendipitous weekend at Anne-mare’s campsite, it exceeded already very high expectations. The creek is stunning, and so fun for swimming, paddling floating, jumping off the rocks and (attempted) fishing. The landscape is so beautiful, plenty of space for camping and so much to explore. We also booked the cabin which was beautiful and the jacuzzi looking out on to the fields was such a delight!! Anne-maree met us at the gate and was super lovely and comprehensive showing us around and being available if we needed. Would 100% go back here!!

7 nights at Weemalah Cabin & Camping

Loved staying at the farm house. Anne-Maree and her husband were very helpful through our trip. The view to the cattle was beautiful, sunsets every evening - brilliant! Worth noting the spa didn't get as hot as we would have liked as there was no cover. The max temperature we could get it to was 35 degrees which is not that warm - but still beautiful. Loved how self sufficient the cabin was too!

3 nights at French Island Cottage - Camping

What a lovely property! We had a wonderful and deeply relaxing time here. Even though the host house is next to the cottage, Alan was extremely respectful of our space and was happy with us galavanting around the property. We had the cottage and used the lawn to camp and enjoyed checking out the funny little island, very unique. Good wading within walking distance when the tide is high. Alan was a friendly host who was there when we needed him and left us alone when we didn't!

Weekend Trip to Merriwoola

Loved our stay here! Peter was super accommodating and provided lots of info before and during the stay so everything was seamless. Heaps of space and a beautiful spot. The house was a nice touch to have an indoor spot to cook and space where some of us slept. Would return again!
