THE PROPERTY: Don Valley Lodge is one of two houses on our 10-acre property. My husband and I live with our 2 Sons and our 2 Labradors (the dogs are contained in our fenced yard) in the main house which is located approximately 25 metres from Don Valley Lodge. NO CLEANING FEES: We do not currently charge Guests a Cleaning Fee. We kindly request that guests respect Don Valley Lodge and keep the space neat and tidy, otherwise we will have to commence charging Cleaning Fees.

A perfect slice of Bushland bliss situated on 24 acres of land, 10 mins drive from Whittlesea township. Hidden away in the valley the cabin offers a cosy and secluded retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Sleeps 4 with a rustic queen bunk. Plenty of floor space for an extra mattress if required. There is an indoor wood fireplace, couch, camp toilet, handheld hot water shower. Rainwater tank and outdoor sink. BBQ provided, but for the ultimate off-grid experience why not fire up the vintage wood fired cast iron stove. Indoor or outdoor dining, designated fire pit and fire cooking items provided. Relax and enjoy a drink on the deck or explore the property and spot the abundant wildlife that we share the land with. 10 minutes drive into town for all your needs with the local IGA, but our recommendation is the local butcher and the award winning bakery! It’s a country town so not much open on Sundays - plan ahead.

Weekend Trip to Blackwood Cabin

Blackwood cabin is in such a beautiful spot, it was so peaceful to listen to the nearby river and birds. The cabin is very cosy with the fireplace inside and very well appointed. It was a lovely place to spend a weekend and relax and visit neighbouring towns for dinner and sightseeing. Lovely and welcoming hosts, thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Fantastic hosts and beautiful property. We had such a great time building fires, cooking and watching out for the abundant wildlife, which included wombats, goats, kangaroos, sheep and a lovely cow who came down to the fence every morning. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Breakaway Twin Rivers Caravan Park

We stayed at Breakaway Twin Rivers Park last week in the 3 bedroom cabin. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and convenient. we really enjoyed our stay, Reception was so helpful and told us of the towns near by and also brought over our fire pit and wood. Very friendly and caring! The scenery was Amazing and we are sad we couldn’t get a spot for christmas time as it would be amazing. we are re booking in a few months to take our family. can’t wait to be back!! Amazing location
