THE LOUNGEROOM: The spacious lounge room contains comfy Leather Lounges, Mountain and Garden views, a 55 Inch, Smart, Flat Screen TV with Foxtel and a DVD player. FREE WI-FI IS PROVIDED. A selection of DVD's are provided for Guests to watch during their stay and Board Games, Card Games and a selection of Books, including Children's Books are also available to enjoy. Trickle Hill is a lovely cottage tucked away at the edge of our bush. You have your own little patio, and can go for adventurous walks straight from your living room ! We are close to Dandenong ranges, Yarra valley, Bunyip state park, and Puffing Billy. We are just behind Avalon castle- so great if you are attending a wedding We welcome couples, solo adventurers and families. We are of course LGBTI+ friendly! Dogs are very welcome. The cottage is a converted shed, with three bedrooms, a lovely living area and a cosy closed woodfire. We have a sheltered outdoor area, where you can have a barbeque, or have a small fire in a firedish. The cottage is in the bush, so you can walk out and try to find our resident breeding pair of Lyrebirds, echidnas, wombats, wallabies and kangaroos or the deer that live in our 'back yard'. Or just roam, which shouldn't be too hard on 67 acres . We are close to massive areas of bush with open trails. Dogs are very welcome- no cats. As we live in the bush, we do our best to keep everything as 'green' as we can- so please don't use harsh chemicals. Living in the bush brings with it that you cannot light a fire in fire danger periods, and, heating on a woodstove, means there is a hot stove in the room. (watch those little fingers...) Our aim is to give you a place of rest and enjoyment. We love to share our space as we love it here so much- and hope you love it too. As life is a project - don't expect 10* linen and luxury, state of the art gardens and clipped lawns, but a friendly welcoming atmosphere where you can be yourself and relax. We love to have visitors, and chat for a bit- or leave you to relax. The cottage is on the edge of the bush, where you are welcome to roam on the tracks or off them- at your own risk :-) We are both artists, and our studio's are close to the cottage, which might make some noise, but we'll try to keep it at a minimum when guests are here. The upside is, you could learn something if interested :-) (contact us for workshops) We have a working hobby farm- with some machinery, animals (pigs, dogs, horses, ducks and chickens). You can interact with the animals if you talk to us about safety first, but the horse paddock is out of bounds. ( they can behave unpredictable, are very large (!) and very valuable) Our dogs are very friendly and will most probably visit you. Our puppy still has lots to learn :-) Our property is stock- fenced, our animals will stay in, but dogs are able to roam if they are not staying with you. There is no secure yard to leave your dog during the day, you are expected to be in control of your dogs at all times. If they are ok with horses, chooks and dogs, and under voice command, they can be off leash. Dogs are not to sleep on the beds. We are a rural property with animals, and there are dams on the property, (not close to the cottage) so please keep an eye on children - we cannot take responsibility for your persons or animals. Living on a farm means that not everything is neat, safe, flat or person-proof. Often there is actual work being done involving machinery. Coming here is entirely at your own risk. (sorry for all the disclaimers...) But- of course- if there is anything we can do to make your visit more pleasurable, we will do our best to do so!

Howqua Valley Holiday Park is a majestic property nestled in Victoria's High Country on the shores of Lake Eildon with show-stopping views of the Howqua Valley, enjoyed by holidaymakers and day-trippers alike... Located 15 mins from the Mansfield township, 10 minutes from the Mansfield Zoo & historical Jamieson with just 45 minutes drive from Mt Buller. New owners Nick and Sarah Gower have initiated a new vision for the former Howqua Caravan Park and are dedicated to its transformation and ongoing improvement... Our family-friendly holiday park offers a variety of accommodation - from ensuite studios to deluxe two and three-bedroom cabins, cottages and a choice of powered/unpowered camping sites suitable for vans, motor homes and tents or long term (annual) holiday sites. Pets are only allowed during off peak times by prior arrangement. Pets are NOT permitted on Long Weekends (Fri to Mon Nights), Easter Weekend (Thur to Monday Nights) or Summer Holiday Period (Christmas Eve to Mon night of Australia Day Weekend. Pets are NOT permitted in cabins at any time with the exception of registered service dogs. Our accommodation options are complimented by beautifully maintained and clean recreational facilities & amenities including; general store, function room, lagoon pool, mini-golf, concrete boat ramp and much more... The general store is now open every day Monday to Saturday from 9-5 and Sunday 10 - 4 for park residents and the local community. It offers fresh produce, takeaway foods, fantastic coffee a bottle shop and much more. Our welcoming staff are only too willing to make sure you have the best experience possible.

Went with the group of family and friends for the camping. Very good place for camping. Kids enjoyed a lot. Had booekd the lodge too. Clean lodge with enough utensils. Clean bathroom and toilet too. recommend this place

We had a great last minute getaway at Amy's beautiful log cabin! The view was incredible, lots of beautiful walks and has everything you need. I'd definitely stay again

Weekend Trip to Bayview Camp

Brilliant place to stay and it exceeded all of our expectations. The place provides a beautiful sunset over the rolling hills, plus caters for those that want to camp or stay on a bed, with toilets and a shower. I genuinely don't do reviews that often, but this place was terrific.

Loved the location, so peaceful. We were camped with a small group and the falicities were great. When it poured we moved indoors with a lovely Coonara fire. Such a beautiful area. Loren was great.

Weekend Trip to Breakaway Twin Rivers Caravan Park

We stayed at Breakaway Twin Rivers Park last week in the 3 bedroom cabin. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and convenient. we really enjoyed our stay, Reception was so helpful and told us of the towns near by and also brought over our fire pit and wood. Very friendly and caring! The scenery was Amazing and we are sad we couldn’t get a spot for christmas time as it would be amazing. we are re booking in a few months to take our family. can’t wait to be back!! Amazing location
