A perfect slice of Bushland bliss situated on 24 acres of land, 10 mins drive from Whittlesea township. Hidden away in the valley the cabin offers a cosy and secluded retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Sleeps 4 with a rustic queen bunk. Plenty of floor space for an extra mattress if required. There is an indoor wood fireplace, couch, camp toilet, handheld hot water shower. Rainwater tank and outdoor sink. BBQ provided, but for the ultimate off-grid experience why not fire up the vintage wood fired cast iron stove. Indoor or outdoor dining, designated fire pit and fire cooking items provided. Relax and enjoy a drink on the deck or explore the property and spot the abundant wildlife that we share the land with. 10 minutes drive into town for all your needs with the local IGA, but our recommendation is the local butcher and the award winning bakery! Firewood provided, firepit, wood burning fireplace. There is an indoor fireplace and an outdoor fire pit. Please be mindful of fireban season.
Toilet available
Portable toilet. Camp toilet provided. However you can bring your own if preferred.
Pets allowed
Off leash, on leash. You’ll have the property to yourself, however it is not completely fenced off, so make sure you per is good on recall. We also have visiting animals, deer, rabbit, wombat and kangaroos - please be mindful that your pet does not chase or disturb the wildlife. The neighbours dogs sometimes come to visit too, they are friendly but if you have any problems please call us.

Bring your own water. There is rainwater tank for shower and washing up. It’s likely fine to drink, recommended to filter and boil otherwise please bring your own drinking water.

There is a bbq, vintage wood fired cast iron stove and small gas burner. Dining set, cutlery, cooking utensils and mugs/cups provided. There is an outdoor sink for washing up, will need to hear water over stove for hot water.

R&R Off-Grid Cabin
We had the most amazing stay and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. It was the perfect getaway to relax, unwind, escape the busy work routine and spend some quality time together as family. The cabin was surprisingly comfortable and had everything we needed for a peaceful stay. Our 3 kids absolutely loved exploring, and even our dog, Zeus, had the best time! It was also such a treat to see cows, sheep and goats just over the fence which added to the beautiful country atmosphere. The generous supply of firewood was more than enough to keep us warm throughout our stay, making the cool evenings by the fire more enjoyable. Rachel and Rocky were exceptional hosts. They were friendly, welcoming, helpful and their communication was excellent. This was exactly the break we needed. We will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends and can’t wait to come back ourselves!

loved our stay here, the cabin is cosy with a great wood fire heater and owners supplied wood for the entire stay. the cabin has great sleeping facilities, and although rustic and off the grid, is fully kitted with what you need. Webber outside and portable gas fire cooker worked perfectly. owners have lights and candles throughout, got water for cleaning up and shower. perfect getaway. we stayed in the middle of winter, outdoor firepit looks incredible, just too wet during our trip to enjoy. while staying, you have complete privacy, and feel like you have your own slice of the bush, wildlife all around. thank you for a great getaway

Camping with a hot shower!

Great property, off grid with everything you could need to stay comfortable. We went with 3 kids under 12 who had a ball riding bikes, making a campfire, exploring and playing. Location is great and close to shops for any forgotten or last minute needs. Early morning there were cows, kangaroos and sheep just on the other side of the fence. Plenty of firewood and the hot shower was a great addition to the site. Hosts were outstanding, clear communicators and incredibly welcoming and helpful in the lead up to arrival.

R&R Off-Grid Cabin
Fantastic hosts and beautiful property. We had such a great time building fires, cooking and watching out for the abundant wildlife, which included wombats, goats, kangaroos, sheep and a lovely cow who came down to the fence every morning. Highly recommend!
