Welcome to our 160-acre Iron Bark wooded property, where nature awaits your exploration. Nestled amidst varying degrees of undulation, our property offers a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

Embark on an adventure along our 57 well maintained tracks, perfect for hiking, nature walks, mountain biking and ebike riding. We are currently working on widening some tracks so you can explore by car. Spanning a total of approximately 23 kilometers, these tracks offer a diverse range of landscapes to explore, from serene woodlands to picturesque vistas.
We have 6 single lane downhill/cross country tracks and a brand new Mini BMX track for the little ones, situated across from Dam 1&2 campsites so the adults can supervise their little ones. We have added some fun obstacles and turns for their enjoyment, on the 270 mtr track.
Don't forget your bikes.
Take a leisurely stroll through our natural rock garden track.
Our prices cater to families, with accommodation for two adults and complimentary stays for children.
Immerse yourself in the tranquility of our property, shared harmoniously with 2 horses, native wildlife, and birds. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere by our dams, ideal for camping, swimming, or simply enjoy relaxing in nature. Gather on our floating pontoon for sun baking, drinking or stargazing or you can try to catch a yellowbelly or yabby.

My 100 acre grassland property is mostly natural ironbark grassland, bounded by the Condamine River to the east and the sealed Cullendore Road to the west. * TOP CAMP.. This open area is approximately another 150 metres up the hill from from midcamp, overlooking both Mid & Rivercamps, with 360deg views, has 3 large flat sites. plus many more dispersed sites, also suitable for all types of camping vehicles
*Wood for your campfire is available to purchase, or you are welcome to bring your own.
*HOT Showers and toilets are situated within easy walking distance at all camp sites

9 sites on 251 acres. We have opened our property for prospecting for gold. Camping is available upon request – you must be self-sufficient. No toilets, no showers, no potable water and no cooking facilities provided.
This property runs cattle and two horses, we also seem to accommodate neighbours goats when they escape their own property. We have an abundance of birdlife, a few hares and the occasional mob of kangaroos like to thunder through the property at dawn and dusk.
Free firewood can be collected around the property and firepits are available. Campfires are subject to authority fire bans.
Day visitors for fossicking/prospecting must book through Hipcamp for insurance reasons.
No motorbikes allowed however bicycles are allowed on the tracks.
Dogs are permitted but must be on a leash at all times for their safety and the safety of the other residents on the property both human and animal.
Gold prospecting/fossicking is subject to rules that will be sent once you book your fossicking experience. We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap.
The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area.
Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open.
You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill.
There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road.
Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill.
Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras.
We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite.
We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. There is sometimes wood located at each campsite but the amount and quality is varied.

Stonepine Ridge is 'remote' - your camp sites are away from any dwellings - but you are still close enough to country towns across borders.
There is plenty of space for social distancing. Most camp sites are 50 or more metres apart.
The terrain is mostly treed with some cleared, pastured country. There is an upgraded 12km mountain bike/walking track that allows you to take a cool walk or ride in the forest. Follow the pink ribbon trail!
On the border with the Queensland town of Stanthorpe, Stonepine Ridge is close to the historic areas of Willsons Downfall and Amosfield in New South Wales. Home to many rivers that traverse the property from top to bottom, the Boonoo Boonoo and Bookookookarara rivers and Undercliffe and Boonoo Boono Falls are close by and are popular sites to spend a few hours walking/hiking and immersing yourself in the ambient countryside.
The Boonoo Boonoo and Bald rock National Parks are also within this area. The beautiful New England town of Tenterfield is about 20 minutes drive from the falls and offers visitors many shopping and restaurant options. Be sure to stop en route to visit the World War 2 tank traps - (Australia's Maginot Line) and Thunderbolt's hideout. A short drive across the border into Queensland will give you access to the Girraween National Park and a host of wineries, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs.
This camping property is large and you will find no better place that allows for gentle as well as more advanced walking, hiking and mountain biking. Look for the pink ribbons that mark the trail. The altitude on the property varies from 900m at the top down to 50m to the bottom. The temperature is variable with mostly cool nights, which makes for restful sleep and a nice fire to add to the ambience.

Amaroo also known to some long time visitors as Snake Valley, is situated on a massive property and backs onto the Toonumbar National park.
The property sits at the top of a 2.7km dirt road to the top of a small mountain with incredible views of Mount Lindsay and Mount Barney. The owner (my dad) has spent over 30 years bringing the land back from blade glass to the early stages of rainforest through native seed propagation and bush regeneration.
After decades of keeping the land free from domestic and commercial animals, the native wildlife has had come back in abundance and is thriving.
Depending on the time of year you could see any number of wallabies, goannas, and echidnas, to countless varieties of birds and butterflies, small marsupials, koalas, micro bats, snakes, and even a few lone dingoes have been spotted from a distance during duck breeding season. Therefore we don’t allow dogs or cats to be brought onto the property.
Pitch your tent, or pull up your situation either on level gravel or in a grassy zone however close or far from the communal zone as you wish. The communal zone is made up of a shack with a kitchen sink and a BBQ (BYO BBQ gas or you will need to request as an extra), there is tank water and lights all running off solar, a big long bench table and stools for preparing food, underneath the pagola of this open shack is an indoor fireplace. 50m from the shack connected by gravel paths and garden beds is the hot gas shower and composting toilet, each in their own enclosed dwellings with lights. From the shack and where you camp you will have the best views of the mountains. You will be 100m-ish from the top main dam where you can swim (we just ask that you don’t remove the fish, yabbies or turtles from their homes). The level below the shack is the main house where the property owner lives, and the level below that is the motocross tracks. There are walking and bike paths down to the motocross tracks that avoid going past the main house, if you are riding or just want to go for a walk.
PLS NOTE you may be around other people during your stay at Amaroo. There is a small community of motorcross riders that access the private tracks and sometimes camp. If you wish to have the campsite to yourself please msg us before booking to make sure it will be exclusive. Most of the time this property is peaceful and filled with noises of birds and tree breeze, but there are occasions where the tracks will be in use. Motorbikes can get noisy!

Welcome to our 160-acre Iron Bark wooded property, where nature awaits your exploration. Nestled amidst varying degrees of undulation, our property offers a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
At our retreat, flexibility is key. We understand the importance of a stress-free getaway, so don't hesitate to request customized check-in and check-out times to suit your needs.
Embark on an adventure along our 57 well maintained tracks, perfect for hiking, nature walks, mountain biking and ebike riding. We are currently working on widening some tracks so you can explore by car. Spanning a total of approximately 23 kilometers, these tracks offer a diverse range of landscapes to explore, from serene woodlands to picturesque vistas.
We have 6 single lane downhill/cross country tracks and a brand new Mini BMX track for the little ones, situated across from Dam 1&2 campsites so the adults can supervise their little ones. We have added some fun obstacles and turns for their enjoyment, on the 270 mtr track.
Don't forget your bikes.
Take a leisurely stroll through our natural rock garden track.
Our prices cater to families, with accommodation for two adults and complimentary stays for children.
Immerse yourself in the tranquility of our property, shared harmoniously with 2 horses, native wildlife, and birds. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere by our dams, ideal for camping, swimming, or simply enjoy relaxing in nature. Gather on our floating pontoon for sun baking, drinking or stargazing or you can try to catch a yellowbelly or yabby.
For horse enthusiasts, bring your equine companions along to traverse our tracks, with a convenient round pen available for your use. As night falls, gather around a campfire (of a sensible nature), with ample firewood available for collection on the property.
Accessing our property is an adventure in itself, via a scenic 4-kilometer dirt road to the gate.

My 100 acre grassland property is mostly natural ironbark grassland, bounded by the Condamine River to the east and the sealed Cullendore Road to the west. This area also includes a small number of powered sites
* TOP CAMP.. This open area is approximately another 150 metres up the hill from from midcamp, overlooking both Mid & Rivercamps, with 360deg views, has 3 large flat sites. plus many more dispersed sites, also suitable for all types of camping vehicles
*Wood for your campfire is available to purchase, or you are welcome to bring your own.
*HOT Showers and toilets are situated within easy walking distance at all camp sites
*Lots to see and experience in nearby Warwick and the Granite Belt.

9 sites on 251 acres. We have opened our property for prospecting for gold. Camping is available upon request – you must be self-sufficient. No toilets, no showers, no potable water and no cooking facilities provided.
This property runs cattle and two horses, we also seem to accommodate neighbours goats when they escape their own property. We have an abundance of birdlife, a few hares and the occasional mob of kangaroos like to thunder through the property at dawn and dusk.
Free firewood can be collected around the property and firepits are available. Campfires are subject to authority fire bans.
Day visitors for fossicking/prospecting must book through Hipcamp for insurance reasons.
No motorbikes allowed however bicycles are allowed on the tracks.
Dogs are permitted but must be on a leash at all times for their safety and the safety of the other residents on the property both human and animal.
Gold prospecting/fossicking is subject to rules that will be sent once you book your fossicking experience. We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap.
The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area.
Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open.
You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill.
There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road.
Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill.
Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras.
We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite.
We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. There is sometimes wood located at each campsite but the amount and quality is varied.

Stonepine Ridge is 'remote' - your camp sites are away from any dwellings - but you are still close enough to country towns across borders.
There is plenty of space for social distancing. Most camp sites are 50 or more metres apart.
The terrain is mostly treed with some cleared, pastured country. There is an upgraded 12km mountain bike/walking track that allows you to take a cool walk or ride in the forest. Follow the pink ribbon trail!
On the border with the Queensland town of Stanthorpe, Stonepine Ridge is close to the historic areas of Willsons Downfall and Amosfield in New South Wales. Home to many rivers that traverse the property from top to bottom, the Boonoo Boonoo and Bookookookarara rivers and Undercliffe and Boonoo Boono Falls are close by and are popular sites to spend a few hours walking/hiking and immersing yourself in the ambient countryside.
The Boonoo Boonoo and Bald rock National Parks are also within this area. The beautiful New England town of Tenterfield is about 20 minutes drive from the falls and offers visitors many shopping and restaurant options. Be sure to stop en route to visit the World War 2 tank traps - (Australia's Maginot Line) and Thunderbolt's hideout. A short drive across the border into Queensland will give you access to the Girraween National Park and a host of wineries, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs.
This camping property is large and you will find no better place that allows for gentle as well as more advanced walking, hiking and mountain biking. Look for the pink ribbons that mark the trail. The altitude on the property varies from 900m at the top down to 50m to the bottom. The temperature is variable with mostly cool nights, which makes for restful sleep and a nice fire to add to the ambience.

Amaroo also known to some long time visitors as Snake Valley, is situated on a massive property and backs onto the Toonumbar National park.
The property sits at the top of a 2.7km dirt road to the top of a small mountain with incredible views of Mount Lindsay and Mount Barney. The owner (my dad) has spent over 30 years bringing the land back from blade glass to the early stages of rainforest through native seed propagation and bush regeneration.
After decades of keeping the land free from domestic and commercial animals, the native wildlife has had come back in abundance and is thriving.
Depending on the time of year you could see any number of wallabies, goannas, and echidnas, to countless varieties of birds and butterflies, small marsupials, koalas, micro bats, snakes, and even a few lone dingoes have been spotted from a distance during duck breeding season. Therefore we don’t allow dogs or cats to be brought onto the property.
Pitch your tent, or pull up your situation either on level gravel or in a grassy zone however close or far from the communal zone as you wish. The communal zone is made up of a shack with a kitchen sink and a BBQ (BYO BBQ gas or you will need to request as an extra), there is tank water and lights all running off solar, a big long bench table and stools for preparing food, underneath the pagola of this open shack is an indoor fireplace. 50m from the shack connected by gravel paths and garden beds is the hot gas shower and composting toilet, each in their own enclosed dwellings with lights. From the shack and where you camp you will have the best views of the mountains. You will be 100m-ish from the top main dam where you can swim (we just ask that you don’t remove the fish, yabbies or turtles from their homes). The level below the shack is the main house where the property owner lives, and the level below that is the motocross tracks. There are walking and bike paths down to the motocross tracks that avoid going past the main house, if you are riding or just want to go for a walk.
PLS NOTE you may be around other people during your stay at Amaroo. There is a small community of motorcross riders that access the private tracks and sometimes camp. If you wish to have the campsite to yourself please msg us before booking to make sure it will be exclusive. Most of the time this property is peaceful and filled with noises of birds and tree breeze, but there are occasions where the tracks will be in use. Motorbikes can get noisy!

I opted for a river side site. 3nights just before Easter so I had the place to myself, so heavenly quiet and peaceful, and a very pretty spot for seeing wildlife, or just gazing at the lovely views. Think I caught a glimpse of a platypus. The sites are well spaced and it’s very well organized and maintained. My dog loved having a splash in the river (several times). I’m sure to be back sometime.

Very private and quiet camp. Exceptional facilities! Bathroom, tables/chairs/bbq/good drinking water. And firewood all supplied! Catherine has put to shame many others.
Only sour point was the lantana. If you are after pristine Aussie bush when you walk, then be prepared to be confronted with 6/7 feet high lantana just about everywhere you look. A real headache for Catherine to control.

Camping at this site was great! We got to have a fun 4wd track in and a little creek right next to us!!
We opted to add the firewood and toilet package. The firewood lasted us all night with a good fire for our group of 8!
And the toilet made it a worry free night!

We only stayed one night but I would recommend staying a few more to really unwind ! It is such a peaceful place and at night the stars are so bright we spent hours sitting by the fire looking at them it was mesmerising.
Catherine is a wonderful host who obviously has a special connection to this spot and there is everything you need and some unexpected luxury for a bush camping spot .

Stunning Spot, our group had a fantastic time, was great coming back each afternoon to the camp, having a fire and sitting around watching the moon rise over the creek while having dinner.
Highly recommend this one for groups and is only a short drive from Stanthorpe.

Janine’s place was exactly as advertised – and even better. From the moment we arrived, Janine was a warm and welcoming host who made us feel completely at home.
The kitchen and toilet/shower facilities were perfect – clean, well set up, and everything you need for a comfortable stay while still enjoying the magnificent outdoors.
We spent a peaceful, tranquil weekend under the stars, surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Mount Edwards, which makes the setting feel incredibly special and secluded.
A highlight was meeting and patting the adorably cute one-eyed miniature pony – such a sweet little character 🐴
If you’re looking for a relaxing escape in nature with just the right facilities to add a touch of glamping to your experience, and want a property all to yourself, this is it!
I highly recommend this fantastic spot. We would absolutely return!!!

On this review I would like to give big shout for those farmers like Matt who open up their land for people such as ourselves who love to get a taste of bush camping. The weather was not on our side on this trip as we had some strong winds. However, we really enjoyed it. So I can only imagine it being even better when the weather is good. Matt is a really good host a with great communication and directions and came down to introduce himself us shortly after arriving. The site was very private open and spacious with a number of spots to pitch a tent. Fire wood was provided with a nice designated spot to enjoy an evening fire to sit around. Our dog was free to be offf leash within the campsite (which is quite big) and enjoyed running around playing ball. There are Kayaks and Tinnie available for use which was nice to have ago on. This one is on our list to return to. Thanks for a great stay Matt.

Bloody ripper little farm stay. Ben the host is a seriously lovely and helpful guy with nothing too hard. He was great with the kids, bringing the new little piglet around to all the sites for them to see and cuddle.
The facilities were great too with clean shower and toilets as well as a great play room with heaps of games. The kids also loved the spa!!
