170 acres of paradise located in Tarome, just 8 minutes from Aratula and the Cunningham Highway. The campsite is best suited to those chasing a quiet, private area to enjoy the best of nature along with unbelievable mountain views. The property is the home base for a grass fed beef business with a sustainable focus so whilst you will share with some beautiful cows and calves, the secluded(and fenced off!) campsite is private and serene. Tarome offers some of the best views of the Main Range and Cunninghams Gap, all of which you can enjoy from the site. The sunsets here are spectacular.
The Warrill Creek runs through the property, adjacent to the campsite and is home to an abundance of wildlife and vegetation all of which you are welcome to explore. The creek runs seasonally and makes a beautiful swimming area, but is just as enjoyable when dry allowing for a great path to explore the area.
The site is only a short drive off the main road so the property offers an ideal spot for short stopovers, or alternatively use it as a base to explore the rest of the Scenic Rim. The abundance of walking, hiking, fishing or biking opportunities in the area are endless, or if you are more into relaxing into some food tasting and wineries then you’ve hit the jackpot. Just an hour and a half from Brisbane CBD!
In lieu of camping with nature there are no amenities and limited service with some providers, but if you are chasing something in particular please let us know. We are happy to help. Property divided by Millarvale Creek offers secluded and private camping. We have two camping sites on the bank of the creek catering for the single camper . Each site has total privacy. Enjoy the peace and tranquility with clear starlit nights around the campfire, stunning panoramic views and sundowners on top of The Knob, walks along the rocky creek, and swimming in the clear running water.
All campers must be self contained.
Pets are welcome but must be kept under control and restrained at night and not interfere with livestock or wildlife. Campfires only in designated firepits dependant upon any restrictions in place. All waste to be removed from site in accordance with our 'Leave No Trace' policy.
RESPECT other campers privacy ! NO DRONES over other private campsite!. If caught you will REMOVED from the property INSTANTLY and DEFEAT ANY PAID CAMP FEES!.

I have 8 sites at the moment each one is in a open bushland setting with lovely views, no site is within 100 meters of another and each one has a different view with lots of privacy, and all Dog and Kid friendly, shallow water, and deep water for swimming or kayaking , creeks, animals to feed and heaps of room to run and play.
Adult friendly, huge sites for big groups and plenty of space, great swimming and lots of things to here and in the surrounding areas.
Some sites are more suited to Caravans as the access is better and some are better suited to campers / 4WD but all can be accessed with a regular car. We have NO road frontage so sites are private, quiet and safe and only 3ks off the New England Highway.
All campers MUST bring their own Chemical toilet and shower facilities. A small rest room and shower is available in case of emergency only
I run a working farm raising Sheep and Lambs, Chickens, Ducks, Horses, Donkeys, Vegies, Preserves and Jams. Farm produce is available on request and availability, eg Free range eggs , farm raised Lamb, locally sourced Bacon for the BBQ , and seasonal vegetables, jams and chutneys.
Thanks to the Beautiful rain we have had recently, our large dam is
full, providing a wonderful spot for swimming, paddling or just splashing about, the Dam has long sloping access so is great for families and dogs, PLEASE NOTE The Google Maps photo is way out of date, our Dam is full. For those who may be into Waterskiing or Fishing Leslie Dam is a 10 min drive away and offers fishing and water sports then come back to your quiet camp away from the crowds.
We are 20 min South of Warwick,
We are only 30 min from the Stanthorpe Wineries, Breweries fresh fruit and Vege, Cheese factory to name a few things to do. A little further along you will find Girraween National Park renowned for amazing walks. Warwick Hosts the Biggest and Best Campdraft and Rodeo on the last full week of October (Covid permitting) as well as the quirky Jumpers and Jazz festival in July. Steam Train Journeys , half or full days,
We have an amazing motor sport venue which holds meet every weekend, cars bikes, vintage, minis, Porsche's, you name it they race it every weekend. As well as many Equestrian Events, you can spend the day out exploring
and then you can come back to your beautiful campsite, that is if you have not decided to stay relaxing and swimming for the day in the quiet watching the sheep and horses pass bye to then watch the Sunset and wildlife then look at the amazing night sky.

Such a peaceful spot. I enjoyed my stay the animals were all friendly with the cows, donkeys, goats, horses and sheep all stopping by to say hello. My son loved the dam with the ducks. And our swim was enjoyable a little bit of plants to wade through first but the water was cool and refreshing. Would highly recommend this spot and will be back again. Cathy was lovely and stopped by and was friendly and warm. Very inviting place to stay

Warrill Creek was a lovely spot, big mowed paddock with a levy bank all the way around which made it private. the swimming holes were good, bit of a walk but not to far. Tamika and Brett were absolutely lovely hosts, happy to help out anyway they can.

Jan is a fantastic host and provides you with a wonderfully presented site to camp on. Kayaks, toilets, water and fire are there to hire or purchase. The site is nice and flat and the fire pits a great. The creek running through the property is great to swim or walk along. Would recommend going after rain has had a chance to flush it.

Plenty of open, flat space, privacy, and access to
amenities. There’s a swimming hole, even kayaks to hire (super cheap). Our group of friends and fur babies had such a great visit and will definitely be back.

Jan came to greet me upon arrival which was really nice as it made me feel very welcome on her property. Jan goes to a lot of effort to make the camp sites a nice place to stay. I had a delightful spot well away from the other sites and all to myself. The site was right on the water and well maintained so no fear of snakes. Total privacy and peace of mind that dogs can be off leash without any trouble. Was very happy to have two nice shady trees and a campfire at the site. Just sad I didn’t know this place existed sooner.

The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and had a good chat after arriving. Ita a nice open area to pick a spot for your stay and a short walk to the creek to cool off on those warm days. It’s a very quiet spot with a nice backdrop of the mountain range in the background. It’s a lovely spot to just stop and relax.
