We have several peaceful campsites available on our 175-acre property - some with beautiful escarpment views, and some amongst the peaceful surrounds of the bush. We are 10km from the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 660m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast, sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest, and even glimpses of Cressbrook Dam. There are 2 separate campsites on the hilltop, one at each end. We also have 3 secluded bush campsites down in the paddocks, these are private and peaceful with no other campers within sight. They are all situated to be able to enjoy the sunset. We feel very spoilt living here in this beautiful place and would love for others to share it. It is extremely quiet and peaceful, yet less than a 15-minute drive to Crows Nest. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. Your camp spot is a flat, grassy field with fantastic views and privately located away from the main house. Access is just off the road and down a slight grassy hill - suitable for 4WDs and most off road caravans or camper trailers. All guests must be fully self- contained with shower, water and toilet facilities. There is a tap with fresh rainwater which can be used for boiling the kettle, washing up etc (dependent on property water levels as we are completely tank water reliant).

A 350 acre property of natural bushland with multiple tracks that traverse the property. There is limited 2wd access but multiple camping spots for 4wd or bikes. The terrain is quite hilly, although the camping area is relatively flat. There are multiple points around the property to see good views over the valley and there is a natural pond up at the shipping container house. Local activities include mountain biking, hiking, dirt biking, 4wding, fishing/boating (40 mins), sightseeing around the Toowoomba/Crows Nest/Esk area. There is Optus and Telstra reception at the property (although Telstra is only a few bars)

The walking tracks range from easy to challenging, with spectacular views from the higher points. An abundance of wildlife live here. Birds range from Kookaburras to Bower Birds. A large variety of raptors, including the Red Goshawk have been spotted from this property. You are sure to see wallabies and possibly hear a koala if camping in summer. 30 minutes drive from Toowoomba.

Your camp spot is a flat, grassy field with fantastic views and privately located away from the main house. Access is just off the road and down a slight grassy hill - suitable for 4WDs and most off road caravans or camper trailers. All guests must be fully self- contained with shower, water and toilet facilities. There is a tap with fresh rainwater which can be used for boiling the kettle, washing up etc (dependent on property water levels as we are completely tank water reliant).

This friendly local camping and caravan park is set on a sprawling 20 acres and located on the edge of the natural spring located conveniently off the Warrego Highway. Caravans and Motorhomes can stay in one of three spots overlooking the natural spring giving the area it's name, Helidon Spa. Power is available at each of the fixed sites. Important to Note:- *There is no dump point on-site. *Pets only welcome for casual/short-term stays. The area, once a bustling tourist attraction has since been converted into a small sustainable village that several locals call home. Picnic tables and amenities are less than 200m away from all sites. All grey water is recycled and treated on site and all fresh water is drawn from the natural spring. Street lights are solar powered and as you read this the on site electricity is being converted to solar.

We are 10km from the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 660m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast, sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest, and even glimpses of Cressbrook Dam. There are 2 separate campsites on the hilltop, one at each end. We also have 3 secluded bush campsites down in the paddocks, these are private and peaceful with no other campers within sight. They are all situated to be able to enjoy the sunset. We feel very spoilt living here in this beautiful place and would love for others to share it. It is extremely quiet and peaceful, yet less than a 15-minute drive to Crows Nest. The land is mostly level, with trees scattered throughout, and all areas have lovely farm views. Whether your on the hill with 360-degree views looking over the campfire while watching the sunset or in the paddock, amongst the trees, you will have space to relax We have 40 sheep on the property, and often lots of lambs which can be seen at any time. We also have 10 antique tractors, and other old farm equipment, which add to the eclectic farm charm. We also have lots of residential wildlife, including kangaroos and plenty of birdlife, such as kookaburras, cockatoos, galahs, finches, Wrens, Willy wagtails, parrots and more. All guests need to be self-sufficient, with their own toilet, shower and power There are toilets at the park in Wyreema 3k Local shop just up the road for basic essentials and fuel, plus there are great pub meals nearby at the Bull n Barley - 8 minutes drive away. Otherwise, cook at camp by the campfire, watching the sunset. We have a fair bit of free firewood currently.

Welcome to 'Bares Hideaway', a 43 acre property nestled away from prying eyes in a secluded valley along the Liverpool Ranges in Grandchester. We are a 10 minute drive from Rosewood and Laidley where you will find cafes, supermarkets, fuel and a variety of other things to enjoy. Our lovely campground will accommodate swags, tents, campers, caravans and motorhomes. We provide an extensive camping ground which ensures that you will have a large amount of space to set up comfortably. Flushing toilets and hot showers are provided. We offer you the choice of a standard enclosed private shower or the fun of open air showers. We also have ice, firewood and kindling for sale. We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required. If you are looking for clothing optional camping we fully welcome this, however we need to know prior to booking clothing optional so we can check on our availability to accommodate you. We support you however we cannot always accommodate you due to other bookings. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water. During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out. Things to do and see: The Grandchester hotel is a short 10min walk away and offers cold drinks, great meals and friendly country hospitality. Spicers Hidden Vale is approximately 6km away and perfect for bike riders. Rosewood train museum showcases steam locomotives and Grandchester scale model rail rides run once a month. All sites are unpowered. Generators are welcome between 7am and 9pm. PRICE. $25 per night Max 2 people. $10 per night for any extra people on that site. $5 for kids 5 years to 12 years.
