To ensure a private and relaxed environment, we limit the campground to two large sites within this paddock, providing ample space for caravans, campers, and tents. Each site covers approximately 900 square meters, allowing plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Nestled in a valley of rolling green hills beneath Mapleton National Park you'll find our beautiful property. Easy access from a well maintained dirt road. Cedar creek runs through the middle of the property for a nice refreshing swim in the swimming hole by the bridge or explore the meandering creek. There is a 4wd access road through to the mapleton national park for you to enjoy the hiking trails and nature.
We want your camping experience at Cedar Banks to be delightful while respecting our local community, wildlife, and surroundings.
To keep the area pristine, fires must be in allocated pits. You must bring your own wood or purchase some from us in advance and we will have it ready for you on arrival.
Pets are welcome with prior approval, but they must follow property rules. Swimming is allowed only during daylight hours, and caution is advised due to natural creek conditions. Jumping or diving is prohibited.
For the safety of all guests, property access is strictly for booked individuals, and non-paying visitors are not permitted. We encourage exploration on foot, as all areas are easily accessible. Please do not drive your vehicle around the property.
As there are no on-site toilets, kindly bring your own camp toilet and ensure proper waste removal. You will find a free dump point at Eumundi RV stop over on Napier road or in Kenilworth at the Showgrounds.

Unwind, light the fire, and enjoy a stunning afternoon outlook as the sun goes down. Fire wood can be provided at an extra cost per wheel burrow load.
Available for horse riding enthusiasts with room to park and set up your yards, ride from the gate along scenic dirt roads on your way to Cooroy State Forest, or float straight to the forest.

If you need a yard provided l can do this at an extra cost.
Bring your dogs, there’s a dam down the back of property the dogs like to swim in or you can drive to close by creeks for swimming for everyone. 20 mins to Cooroy, Eumundi, Kenilworth, 15 mins to Imbil.
Go for a leisurely walk down the road to the HUB on the Ridge, a local cafe and open for music and pizzas on Saturday nights. Really popular for motor bike riders so after an awesome day of riding, pit stop at the Hub Cafe, come set up camp and have a few beers around the fire.
If you wish to explore the area without your dogs (or horses), I also offer animal holiday care.
There is access to power and rain water in the front off road camps. Not enough water to fill your vans sorry. Please note reception can be poor at times.

We had a lovely stay at Maya Nature Park. The host, Lucas, was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The shower and toilet facilities were clean and well maintained, which is always a big plus when camping.
It was great to see cows and kangaroos around the property — a beautiful and peaceful natural setting. Overall, a relaxing place to stay and enjoy nature. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Good spot to camp for a night. Bank down to the creek is a bit steep for a good fish. No shade so need to bring your own gazebo’s. Nice and flat. Would have been better if it was mowed.

Firstly Lucas is a wonderful host. We had issues with our new campervan. He was ever so helpful and generous with time and effort. The place is really pretty and the cows are so beautiful. They don’t bother you at all they are just beautiful to see walking around. I was lucky enough to see you calves . A really pretty place and Lucas keeps the place very neat and tidy and clean

We loved camping at Maya nature park. Lucas was a great host! All the campsites we spaced we had the whole lower half to ourselves. Toilet and shower facilities were well maintained and very convenient. We even had a cow visit in the morning. Will definitely stay here again.
