Just a short 20-minute drive away, the famous Noosa Main Beach awaits, inviting you to indulge in swimming, surfing, and the vibrant energy of Hastings Street for shopping and dining. Our campsite offers a truly remarkable experience with stunning views of the Valley or the iconic Mount Cooroora, renowned for its exhilarating 'King of the Mountain' race. Leave the distractions behind as you witness breathtaking sunsets that will captivate your senses and provide the evening's entertainment, far surpassing any television show. Gather around the cozy fire pit, where the crackling flames create a warm ambiance. Feel free to collect fallen wood from our forest, adding to the enchantment of your outdoor experience. We welcome well-controlled dogs to join you on your adventure, as long as their waste is responsibly collected. Directions into our Property- Once you have turned into Uhlmanns road; the bitumen will turn to a dirt road. Look on your left - we are the second driveway on the left. it is gravel and dirt and goes up a small hill to the farm gates which will be open. Once you have gone past the gate, the neighbours house is to your left along the fence line. Keep driving down the driveway; you will see an avenue of Camphor Laurel trees. Camp site 1 is to the right of the trees on the flats of the front paddock. You will also see a fire pit. We are now a working hobby farm and have animals free ranging on the property. If you wish to bring a pet, please ensure they are bird/ animal/ dog friendly. Drive in and set yourself up. Not what I was led to believe.

Unfortunately, Wallaby Ridge did not live up to the hype.. It sits less than 800 mtrs from the Bruce highway. The camp sights were directly beside the house. The hosts did not even bother coming to greet us, which felt really weird since we were camping in their backyard. Grass was cut but full of very active ant hills and very vocal Guinea fowl, and lots and highway noise made it a noisy camp site. As for the glorious sunset, lots raved about... yes, as long as you don't mind sitting on the tiny homes verandah, as most of the new was hidden by a plantation of trees. But on a positive side. The night sky was absolutely stunning. Sorry for the bad review, but in all honesty, it was not as good as the price tag and reviews led me to believe.

Such a beautiful, private camp with sunset views! Host was responsive and gave clear directions. Checked in via message to make sure we arrived ok and everything was alright. Onsite fire pit as well and plenty of space for kids to run around. Definitely a perfect start for us getting back on the road in the van! Thank you.

Great spot if you are traveling and need a stop overnight somewhere close to the highway. With a nice view of Black Mountain was good for myself and my two dogs. I was able to let them off lead once the free range animals were in at night, a bit noisey with the trucks on the highway but other than that not to bad 😊

We through the view and the sunset were great . The site itself was well kept with a great fire pit. The site itself felt private with ample space . We really enjoyed our stay , close to beaches etc . Slight noise from the motor way but not to bad .

Great for events in Pomona.

This is a great spot if you are heading to Pomona for one of its many running / sporting events. It is only a short 8-9 minute drive to Pomona and the start of the forest trails. The campsites are clean, flat and well maintained. As mentioned in the description, you do need to be fully self contained. Our dogs were welcome and could be off the lead whilst supervised. This site would also be great for those travelers who just need a place to stop overnight due to its proximity to the on and off ramps to the highway. You may hear the highway at times but it’s not obtrusive at all. The hosts made sure we were comfortable and provided us with a pile of wood for our camp fire. Melissa is a great communicator and maintains her guests privacy. From this location, we easily made our way to Tewantin for lunch and shopping, and we explored the State and National Parks that are in the area. It’s an easy drive to Boreen Point and Harry’s Hut. The birdlife is abundant and we even saw black cockatoos. I would use this Hipcamp for short term stays of one or two nights. It is located on a large lifestyle block so you do see houses around you so if you want to get away from it all, this may not be the camp spot for you. But as mentioned, it’s perfect if you have an event in Pomona. We will back next year when the trail race is on again.
