BOATS
Boat launch locations are available for campers at designated areas within the campsite and to comply with our SEQ Water licence:
* No parking within 20 metres of the water.
* Vehicles must stay on the designated road and cannot drive down to the boat ramp.
* After launching, vehicles and trailers must be parked back up the hill within the Pointro boundary.
* Marquees and similar structures must be at least 6 metres from the water’s edge.
* Boats may be moored during the day but must be removed overnight.
Breaches may result in fines from SEQ Water, which will be passed on to the responsible party.

The large campsite is located alongside our 14 acre dam with a pontoon and dam banks to explore.
The site is flat and mowed with easy access from the road for caravans.
The dam is perfect to launch a SUP/ canoe out on, float around on floaties and spot some turtles or eels.
Great to swim in/ try your luck with a fishing rod, but NO JUMPING from the pontoon as water levels vary and submerged debris/ trees etc. (common sense swimming in dam and water sources.)
The pontoon is perfect for evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!)
** Please be very conscious of deciding to camp with children in close proximity to an open water source. Safety is our highest priority.
The campsite is bordered by seasonal crops.
We also have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, depending on feed and crop cycles. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!)
**Pets welcome, but to remain under STRICT supervision. Not to chase cattle or wildlife. **
Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club.
Guests will be able to see and hear them buzzing around of a weekend. You can watch from the campsite but we ask not to walk through the paddocks or approach the club.
During weekday stays (and some weekends) you will have the pleasure to see fighter aircraft, KC-30s and the impressive C17 Globe masters doing some low flying and pass overs as we are just on the edge of the Amberley RAAF Base circuit area.

Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property.
Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed.

Very peaceful spot nestled in amongst nature. The property is wonderfully maintained and private with a lot of thought having gone into the surrounding native gardens. Directions are easy to follow and there are no issues with access towing a large off grid caravan. Great for families with plenty of room for kids to run around and explore! Kevin was a fantastic host.

Incredible spot! Camped April ‘26. Site is kept immaculate, grass cut short, not rocks or sticks lying around. Highlight defs the jetty, we launched 4 kayaks off easily and we caught a few small catfish and baby mullet. Thanks heaps for having us!

Lots of friendly farm animals. Host Paul was very informative. Other groups there but no one was camped too close to each other. Can't comment on toilets as we are self-contained. Would recommend for a weekend away.

Awesome place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. There is plenty of space for everyone without having to camp on top of eachother. The facilities are very clean and well kept and the showers had amazing pressure and hot water. The hosts are very helpful and came around wvery afternoon with ice and fire wood if needed. Would definitely recommend camping here.

We had the best time camping recently, weather was superb and the water was a welcome refreshing dip during the day. The site was super clean and spacious with plenty of areas to camp and spread out. The kids have said it was the best place they have ever camped and want to come back
