Loved it so much! Wish we stayed more than one night! Brad was super nice, helped with the fire (because we are hopeless) ensured we were set with firewood giving us tips along the way, gave us a DOZEN eggs for the morning and a pan (which will be used a lot) and encouraged us to explore around. We did not need to drive anywhere, and I will definitely be coming back with more friends. Amazing price for what you get and so worth the cows visiting in the morning! Thank you so much again!

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced in towing off road. No caravans or Hybrids sorry, too steep and tight. Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and log seat. Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Suitable for vehicle based campers/swags/small tents with a sense of adventure and best with max 2 people. We have a backup spot if access is too difficult. Pets (on leash) are welcome, please ensure you pick up after them. Kids (15 and under) are free and are not counted in the maximum number of guests. Firewood is sold at the check-in via an honesty box. $20 per bag (22kgs approx.) Travel down the gravel road for about half 900m and pop out through a tree tunnel to a secluded 2 acre cleared grass paddock where the toilet & sites 1-3 are situated. Being only 20 minutes to the sunshine coast airport it’s a great opportunity to park up your big or small touring rig to head interstate at short notice if required. This amazing property has views of mt Coolum and mt Nindery with some of the best sunrise and sunsets around. With easy access to the property we can also cater for larger caravans and big groups of people. Being on the river there is option for fishing and crabbing, we are only a few hundred meter walk to the Yandina Creek Wetlands walking trails. Camp Fires are allowed on site. We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close.
