A cleared grass/gravel paddock close to everything Maroochydore, Coolum and the Sunshine Coast has to offer! Our land backs onto the Maroochy River (no direct access but the boat ramp is less than 5 minute drive away) and each site is sheltered by tall trees. There are 3 defined sites with plenty of room for privacy and escape in nature. Bring your own push bike or walking shoes to explore the mangroves and bushland. We have an abundance of native wildlife and it’s a good idea to bring mozzie/insect repellent.
We do have plenty of firewood available although if it’s been raining it will be best to BYO wood. We have a communal fire pit you can use (please don't camp on the grass near the fire pit).
We kindly ask all campers to be 100% self-sufficient as we do not have any waste, water, or power facilities. You carry it in you carry it out.
Our site is 2WD friendly although once again if it's been raining it's best to stick to the gravel roads. Please message me if you have any questions!
To keep us all safe, we have some VERY IMPORTANT notes:
Please stay on the gravel roads - there are deep holes and drains hidden by long grass on neighbouring blocks. These can cause damage to vehicles and you will need a tow truck to be recovered.
Bring your pets, please keep them close as we have no fences.

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation.
Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples.
Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore.
The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens and chooks around the house paddock. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of cattle and our 2 donkeys or set aside for regeneration.

We are located between Noosaville and Eumundi., with beautiful Noosa and Coolum beaches only 15 mins drive away. The Tewantin ferry is only about 15/20mins for access to Noosa North Shore and Rainbow Beach (4WD for beach driving). The Eumundi Markets 10 mins drive.
We have a few options to choose from, shady areas or open sunny areas overlooking the dams. All sites have easy access, will suit self-contained motorhomes/caravans and campers who have own amenities and leave no trace, We do have a dump point and also a couple of port-a-loos available if required. Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced towing in steep and tight off road conditions. No caravans or Hybrids, too steep and tight.
Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and seat.

What a lovely spot. We were welcomed by the host and given free range of the river access. The dam was nice and grounds well maintained. Big bags of firewood for $15 was a bargain and free limes or $10 a dozen free range eggs to help yourself to with honesty box. We will return

We absolutely loved our time at the river shed. Sites were huge, flat and open. Owners were so friendly. Fishing off the jetty, even though we mainly only caught catfish, the family had an amazing time. Will be coming again with our whole crew.

Stunning property! Beautifully landscaped. Plenty of room, even an overflow paddock with fire pits if you like your space more than others. Only 5 minutes to Eumundi markets, 25 minutes to the beach if you feel like a swim. Definitely planning the next trip back.

Second time back and it is as great as last time. We love we can let our dog off leash thanks to the fence and watch the kangaroos from the fire pit. Feels very private. Highly recommend!
