It is a great spot for scenic photography, a base to explore the many hikes and climbs from in the surrounding National Parks. Note: This site does not have any toilet or shower facilities so you will need to be a self-contained camper and bring your own. You can bring your own firewood from local service stations or other sources to be used in the firepit. Bring your hiking gear, your mountain bike and definitely bring your camera as the views are stellar. The craggy peaks of the Glass House Mountains tower above the surrounding landscape. They are so significant that they are listed on the Queensland and National Heritage Register as a landscape of national significance. Walking tracks lead through a variety of open forests to lookouts with panoramic views of the mountains. Some tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness and others include more challenging grades including rock scrambling skills. There are other challenging summit routes and climbing sites for experienced rockclimbers and abseilers. Or you might want to pull up a hammock and just laze the day away.

Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

We have an animal nursery where the kids can meet and feed the animals, bike tracks, walking trails and seasonal water sports for all our guests to enjoy. Full amenities available and campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided. Pets are welcome but please keep them under control and respect other campers. You can purchase wood-fired pizzas which we can deliver directly to your site! We are located just a 1 hour drive from Brisbane city. With access to our pool and animal farm the fun never ends! We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. NO UNFORTUNATELY WE DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO BRING or USE MOTORISED EQUIPMENT ON OUR PRIVATE LAKE. Somerset Dam is 40minutes away and you are able to use your own motorised equipment there. We are more expensive per person than other camp sites. Please note this includes hipcamp fees and charges and you are covered by hipcamp insurance. We don’t charge for pets, nor do we charge to use our 6 onsite canoes, nor do we charge extra for hot showers or rubbish removal, we have guest wifi. Our 1km private driveway is rough but if driven to conditions a 2wd has no issues. I have a 2wd and drive in and out multiple times per day. Most of the time space is abundant however if choosing to come on a long weekend, Easter or New Years expect it to be a lot busier than your average weekend with larger groups camping together, however still plenty of space between groups. You won’t ever have to trip over your neighbours tent ropes here. Eco friendly lakefront and near to lake front sites. Please don’t arrive expecting lakefront, our sites are all near to and Depending on group size not everyone will have lake frontage. We can never guarantee requests. We assign sites based on numbers and camping equipment. Furtherest camp spot is approximately 500m from amenities block, however porta loos are located in the remote site but it’s a walk or drive back to the showers. Flushing toilets and 2 hot showers available in main area. Please note: toilet cartridges are not to be emptied into our toilets. Take it home or dispose at dump point at Woodford Showgrounds We provide unpowered Bush camping, and we try to keep the camp sites as natural as possible, no flat pads. There is lots of space for the kids to run or take the dog for a walk on the lead. If you are organising a celebration (eg wedding/birthday) please send an enquiry first so we can discuss your needs. Please note if you’re wanting a function the price is $5500 which gives you sole use of the property up to 70 campers. (We live onsite) please also note we abide by noise restrictions and we do not allow amplified music and noise needs to be kept to a minimum after 10pm. We will allow up to 120 people onsite cost $7500. These prices include early entry Friday from 10am and late departure Sunday by 4pm. Extra accommodation available at extra cost. There is plenty of water for swimming and kayaking.All vehicle access. Entry from 12.00pm, Early arrivals incur a fee of $5per person includes Children and providing there is space available. Please let us know if you are entering after 8am and prior to 12.00pm. Children are considered ages 2 - 16years Please disregard Hipcamp's 13 and above policy for adults. If you have a child aged between 2 - 16 years please book the childrens' rate. Please do not follow hipcamp directions as they can take you into state forest. Please use Cove Road or Old Cove road as a pin then work off the address after confirmation from these spots. We have a great supply of locally sourced firewood, $20 per bag 20kg-25kg and we strongly discourage wood brought on from other areas due to biosecurity concerns. We have firepits at all campsites and adhere to any fire restrictions. We do not supply BBQ’s please bring your own. Please come to our reception building on the way in, as we need to check everybody in, visitors to your camp site need to sign in and pay a day fee. The property is traversed by a number of rain forested creeks and ravines which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing. We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding. We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to any one with the swag, tent, camper, caravan or motorhome. You need to be self sufficient. For those liking the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View rd., do not go that way, go through Dayboro rd. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged.
