20 mins to north lakes shopping 30 mins to Redcliffe 45 mins Australia Zoo. 1 hour maybe less to Caloundra .
No electricity or water available.
Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.

The campsites are nestled in the groves of trees next to the creek. There's some great swimming spots, or you can go for a bushwalk and do a spot of fossicking on the water's edge.

Our property is 4WD access. You are risking your booking and vehicle if you turn up in a 2WD or family SUV.

UPDATE as of late July 2025 - the creek is dry.. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills.
Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting.
Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience!
You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk.
Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars.
All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal.
NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted.
NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. This enables us to site you appropriately.
NOTE: Each site has a stand alone camping toilet bucket, located behind a small shade cloth screen near your camp site. You’ll have a seat to sit on, a lid to close, and the need to throw some Leaves and grass in each time you go.

Ronald was great to communicate with and gave clear directions on where we could stay.

This is a lovely property and we ended up having a great stay, but first-time visitors should be aware that arrival instructions and communication are quite limited.
Before booking, it wasn’t clear whether this was a single site Hipcamp or a shared property. When we arrived, there were already other campers set up, which came as a surprise.
The Hipcamp instructions suggested messaging the host to meet at the gate and be shown to the campsite, but this wasn’t an option during our stay, we were told to just drive in. With no designated sites, it wasn’t obvious where we were meant to camp or which areas were suitable. We eventually found a spot by following an existing fire pit.
Although there were multiple campers, the sites are well spread out, so it still felt quite private and not cramped. Once settled, the property itself is beautiful and we had a great time.
We also pre-ordered firewood, but there were no instructions on where or how to collect it. There was a small bundle at the front gate, but no guidance on how much to take.
Overall, it’s a great spot and we would stay again now that we know the layout. However, a bit more upfront communication would really help first-time visitors feel less lost on arrival.

This camping spot is amazing!
The camp site is close to the road, but not visible from the road and has minimal noise from traffic. The track down is steepish, we have 17ft & 18.5ft full size off road caravans, towed with a 4WD in 4low we had no problem getting in or out. There is a very large level area perfect for caravans. This private one site gem is right next to the river, it offers all our favourite activities, swimming, fishing & kayaking, there are some shallow spots but was still great fun, our grandson loved the rapids. There is plenty of room for kids to ride their bikes.
We loved the large established fire pit.
The host Luke touched base before our visit and gave me a run down on everything we needed to know, which was great. The property is well maintained, hats off to you Luke.
Those who are with Optus may want to invest in a Starlink as there is no service.
We would rate this Site No1, it is definitely on our list of places to revisit, loved it!

We booked for damside Park 1,
And although the spot was beautiful, we felt our set-up and circumstances (toddler) would be better Suited further from the water.
Marcaus the host was extremely accomodating and took us up to the grassy spurs. It was perfect. An ideal amount of space and grass field for the kids to run around without the fear of water.
We went and paddled in the dam with the kayaks, did the goat feeding and also checked out the creek.
The track to the creek is a little overgrown, but don't let that stop you. The creek is INCREDIBLE. We hiked up it until we reached a waterhole and had a swim in the crystal clear waters there!
And the best part was, that we were able to enjoy this spot/trip with our dog Molly!
Ensure you have a capable 4x4 vehicle.
We will definitely be back in the future!

Marcus and family were very inviting, even inviting me to have xmas dinner with them, had a great stay xmas eve, with a very secluded camp site for a single ⛺️ perfect for adventure motorcycles and 4x4 great property enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds singing. We stayed at the forest dam 1. Very nice spot with more than enough space. Definitely need a 4x4 to get there which is a good thing. Really friendly owner and family. I do wish there were more tracks but other than that really good place. Do recommend.
