Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or soak in the creek with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Please note, if there is lots of rain, the track to the creek can get very muddy and difficult. If access is compromised due to weather, there are alternative spaces you can set up camp. We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or soak in the creek with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Sites are allocated on weekends based on numbers, if you are in caravans or tents and if you are camping with children. We have 12 large grassy sites nestled amongst trees located at the higher part of our property. Each site is large and can allow group bookings. Loads of space for tents, camper trailers, caravans or motorhomes. The camping sites are close together however there is loads of areas to set up along the creek during the day. Coorie Vale is a 100-acre working cattle and horse property on Mt Mee, within an hour drive from the Sunshine Coast or just over an hour from Brisbane. We have a tranquil camp area on Bungo Creek flats, great for families to enjoy nature, and a beautiful private site on the Ridge, with expansive, peaceful views.  The creek campsites have easy access to the toilets and non-potable water.  Coorie Vale is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers - go rock hopping exploring the creek and relax under the stars around the campfire.  It is steep country down to the creek, so a 4WD is an absolute must. Please note, if there is lots of rain, the track to the creek can get very muddy and difficult. If access is compromised due to weather, there are alternative spaces you can set up camp. We accept tent and 4WD camper trailers only, please no caravans or motorhomes. Our property is dog-friendly, keeping in mind it is a working cattle property.  Children under 12 stay free. Please still add them to your booking so we can monitor numbers, they will not be charged. Over Christmas, Coorie Vale is a great spot to base yourself for the Woodford Folk Festival (15-minute drive).

We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

'Weefarm' is situated on a picturesque bend of the Brisbane River near Fernvale and is accessible by 4WD only. Kids are free to 17 so if you have children between 12-17, please include them in the "children" booking. We provide an exclusive booking for you on absolute river frontage for tents and camper trailers. Spend your time swimming, fishing, canoeing or simply sipping a cold drink on the pontoon under the umbrella. With an easterly aspect you’ll want to spend the morning swimming or exploring the riverscape and when the afternoon shade sets in light the campfire and put your feet up. Please note... our campsite has been ongoing since 2017 and campers have kindly shared their many happy memories. Over the years, things change. Please take the photos lightly. There is no vehicular boat ramp but still excellent access for other small watercraft. Due to the steep track to the camp area we insist on 4WD’s only - though you can walk down if feeling energetic! We absolutely loved staying at the creek sites at corie vale... the drive down was definitely 4wd only.. but very worth it when you get there.. the creek was great to cool off and even went rock hopping and found a lovely waterfall and swim hole... tony was such a lovely host and very welcoming with his beautiful doggo.. will definitely be coming back to this beautiful part of the world thats not too far from home

Guy and his family were welcoming and gave clear directions on how to get to the property and where to setup camp. The kids especially enjoyed feeding the animals. They have horses, ponies, cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, chickens, turkeys and even free-range guinea pigs. The animals were very friendly and the ponies and chickens were very curious about what we were eating and came very close to us and the ponies allowed the kids to pat them. We pre-purchased a bucket of animal feed when we made the booking. Animal feed times are at 5.30pm and 8.30am. We camped near a tree towards the top of the driveway. The tree was decorated with festoon lights which provided a nice light to the bathroom at night. We got to see a shooting star and the kid's thought they might have seen Santa's sleigh. It was a great first time camping trip for us. Thanks Guy.

We had such a wonderful stay at Gums. The site was private, peaceful, and a really decent size, giving us plenty of space to relax without feeling crowded. The property is clearly very well looked after, and the added gazebo with chairs and tables was such a bonus, perfect for meals, shade, and winding down in the afternoons. It’s a beautiful escape so close to Brisbane, yet it feels like you’re a world away. We’ll definitely be back!

If you a lucky you may even spot platypus, there is abundant birdlife, bandicoots and bettongs if you are a nature lover. Not only enjoy a quiet and lazy morning with a seasonal creek running along the outlook from your camp site, but you will also love our goats, and they will love you visiting, especially our goat named "Squirt", who thinks he is a dog. The Warrill Creek runs through the property, adjacent to the campsite and is home to an abundance of wildlife and vegetation all of which you are welcome to explore. The site is only a short drive off the main road so the property offers an ideal spot for short stopovers, or alternatively use it as a base to explore the rest of the Scenic Rim. We are close to the CBD so the site is a great option for a 'shake down' for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield. Daisy Hill Conservation Park is also a short drive away which is a great spot for a picnic and offers mountain bike trails, walking tracks and a BBQ area. Moreton bay access is also close by with a short drive to either Victoria Point, Cleveland or Redland Bay. In addition, the property has beautiful walking trails. Campfires permitted however must be kept within the allocated fire pit and must be outside of restrictions. You must have portable toilet and be fully self-sufficient. All waste to be removed by campers upon departure. We would like to preserve this site for all future campers so please ensure that you abide by our rules. **Our camping sites vary in size and proximity to others. If you want to come with a group with several vehicles etc, please send a message rather than book separate sites. We will help find a site which suits your needs. We now have several secluded bush camp sites as alternatives to our more 'civilised' sites. They have no facilities apart from the site so you must be entirely self-sufficient. But all are single sites well away from others. We invite you to come and share our property, soak up the tranquility of our quiet valley and enjoy feeling at home in nature. And your dog is welcome too (under control please because we value our wildlife, and no more than 2 dogs per couple or family group)! The land is nearly 200 Ha in the western foothills of the Dividing Range, with the usually-flowing North Branch Creek being a green haven supporting lots of wildlife. It also includes the secluded back valley of Hann Creek to which you can walk, cycle or ride, with many tracks of lengths up to 3 km. The land is mostly open forest land with some cleared areas from its dairy-farming history, and many gullies with thicker vegetation. The property is mostly now dedicated to nature conservation and the recovery of its more natural state. It is a Nature Refuge under Qld legislation with special emphasis on recognising that the land is Githabul country, honouring local Githabul people now, sharing it with them and others, plus preserving species of plants and animals with known relevance to their former lifestyles. The name Nyalar Mirungan-ah means 'Old Women's Tears' in Githabul, and recognises that they cry because the land was taken from them and because it has not been looked after well by European people. We are now trying to care for it well, and to allow the original ecosystems to return, by lighter grazing, soil recovery and using traditional Aboriginal burning knowledge. And we welcome dogs as long as they don't disturb our wildlife. Shandy, our own dog, is very welcoming to guests and might drop in to your camp for a visit.

Crystal clear creek to play in, safe for children as its not deep near camp spot. Fantastic spot to get away and breath the fresh country air! Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Our camping area is down on our creek where there are slashed camp sites suitable for groups of campers or just on your own. You have full use of a shelter complete with pot belly stove and a fire ring provided (byo firewood) You can do birdwatching, yabbying, swimming in the waterhole (seasonal) picnicking and general exploring around the creek area. There are no people nearby and you will feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere (but are just 25mins from Toowoomba). We are a cattle property so you will see cows and calves and horses on your way to the camp sites. Because of this and bio security, there is no 4WDriving around the property but you are welcome to explore the creek area on foot. Plenty of wildlife to spot - wallabies, kangaroos, bird life and the occasional koala. In the creek there are some fish, yabbies and turtles. Set up camp, enjoy stunning sunsets, peace and quiet and the privacy of the secluded camp sites. Our location is perfect if you are first time campers or want to try out a new set up without venturing too far from home. 25mins drive will get you back to Toowoomba CBD. We are on black soil so our access road to the creek is dry weather only but is accessible by 2WD that have reasonable clearance. Please check with us ahead of time if you have a large set up or are concerned about access. We are happy to help or answer any questions you may have.
