Foggy Lookout Wellness Retreat

Nestled in the northern foothills of the Little Liverpool range and Minden village, Foggy Lookout Wellness Eco Retreat (FLoWER) is 53 acres of hillside bushland, rolling pastures and private hilltop campsites, with stunning views, sometimes foggy mornings and spectacular sunsets.

Our property is an easy drive to many local towns in the Lockyer and Somerset regions and only an hour to Toowoomba or Brisbane city.

Towns to visit north of us - Lowood, Tarampa and Fernvale and Esk. Towns west - Plainland, Laidley, Gatton and Toowoomba. Country towns south - Marburg and Rosewood, plus easy access to the Scenic Rim. Drive East and you come to Ipswich and Brisbane.

We can help you tailor your own special Foggy Lookout gathering.

Our sites are 4WD access only at the moment and have a designated fire pit for camp fires, just check there are no fire bans in place prior to arrival.

Weefarm Brisbane River Camping

'Weefarm' is situated on a picturesque bend of the Brisbane River near Fernvale and is accessible by 4WD only.  Kids are free to 17 so if you have children between 12-17, please include them in the "children" booking.

We provide an exclusive booking for you on absolute river frontage for tents and camper trailers.

Spend your time swimming, fishing, canoeing or simply sipping a cold drink on the pontoon under the umbrella. With an easterly aspect you’ll want to spend the morning swimming or exploring the riverscape and when the afternoon shade sets in light the campfire and put your feet up.

Please note... our campsite has been ongoing since 2017 and campers have kindly shared their many happy memories.  Over the years, things change.  Please take the photos lightly.

There is no vehicular boat ramp but still excellent access for other small watercraft. Due to the steep track to the camp area we insist on 4WD’s only - though you can walk down if feeling energetic!

Please bring drinking water and a desire to leave the riverside just as you found it. We have enough room for around 20 people in tents or camper trailers.

Portaloo toilet available at the campsite.

Campfires are permitted in the circle but please be mindful of any restrictions. You can purchase firewood from us if needed.

Dogs are also welcome but must stay with you at all times.  Please let us know they are coming as well.

Twilight Grove Farm

Twilight Grove is 120 acres of horse paddocks and peaceful natural bushland adjoining 2500 acres of State Forest. The property gives a safe haven for all native animals. Enjoy bush walking and mountain bike riding in the forest. We have a number of sites to choose from.&nbsp;Wivenhoe & Somerset Dams are nearby and you can sail and waterski on Somerset Dam. Fishing is also good.Gypsy Field is a gentle sloping, grassed paddock with limited shade. There are no toilets & showers. Suits self contained campers only. Dogs friendly!Silky Oak is the smallest area which could comfortably take two caravans. The area&nbsp;is a flat shady space among trees.Banksia Grove&nbsp;Camp area is not grassed, it is surrounded by trees.&nbsp;Shady Hollow is a&nbsp;grassed area surrounded with trees. Suitable for four caravans&nbsp;Suits self contained travellers as there are no amenities.&nbsp;Your holidaying horses are welcome here too, please book as an Extra (BYO feed).This property suits self contained travellers as there are no amenities.&nbsp;Dogs are welcome!

There are some very private campsites available or you can choose to be near the pottery shed where breakfast is available for $18 and barista coffee for $6

Pottery lessons are also available for $88.00 for a 2-hour booking and Deborah, our resident Potter, is capable of instructing young or experienced potters.

Coal Creek Pottery camping is located near Esk and Somerset Lake, with eateries and opportunities for swimming and boating. It's only 113 km from Brisbane, making it ideal for a weekend or a couple of weeks away. Enjoy the beautiful views and the peace and quiet of this serene location.

Drive up to the pottery shed and introduce yourself, then find a camping spot that suits you and relax in the very peaceful and picturesque area for a relaxing holiday.

Olive View Estate - Stunning Views

Please note this farm is for SELF SUFFICIENT campers only. You MUST have your own toilet and you must take All of your waste with you. This is our home! Please respect it. * Do NOT enter neighbouring properties or throw rubbish over the fence. Cattle graze nearby and their health and safety is priority!

One booking covers 4 people (no matter how many set ups/caravans/tents you have) You can pick wherever in the paddock that you'd like to set up - there are no pre allocated spots and you will be able to pick a private spot.

Take a stroll through the olive grove and set up a picnic amongst the trees!

Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views.

Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes.  We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love  carrots and apples.

This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy.

We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more.

We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm.

We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim.

The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges.

Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers.

At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use.

Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them.

We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need.

*Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Unfortunately Hipcamp won't remove these comments and we had no management of these customers. ALL other positive comments are through us direct.
