The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge".
We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close.
With only 4 sites, we offer a spacious camping area, spread out all to enjoy the views of the mountain and creek.

During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings.
All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding.
Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek.
We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres.
We have 1km of creek frontage.
The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them.
It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots.
There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle.
This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower.
Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits).
The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure.
Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation.
The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more.
We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section.
Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

There is over a kilometre of creek frontage for you to explore during your stay.

We would love to welcome fully self contained campers with their own toilet/shower facilities but we also have a portable toilet available for use. It may be a bit of a walk from some of the campsite. Under no circumstances leave toilet paper (among other very unpleasant things) in the bush surrounding the campsites.
We ask that you please take all rubbish with you on departure and leave the area as you found it. All camp sites must be left in the same condition as you found it absolutely no litter of any kind. Messy campers will be reported to Hipcamp. Under no circumstances place any rubbish in any of the rubbish bins along Reeves Road as our neighbours are very unappreciative of this.
All this is just 5 minutes from Imbil and Kandanga where you can find everything you need for a great camping trip.
Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times and must not disturb other campers.

Guests can also bring their horses to Stirlings Crossing as Imbil State forest is perfect for horse back trail riding.

The Tom Quilty has been held here twice before and will be held here again in 2026.

It is just over 100km north of Brisbane. The town of Imbil is only 6km away and has a recently opened IGA with all the supplies you need. There is also a bakery, 2 coffee shops, a pub with great meals, and a well equipped petrol station.
There are markets every Sunday in the Main Street.
Borumba Dam is 4.5kms up the road. It is perfect for boating enthusiasts who want to fish or do various water sports.

We are only 45 minutes to Noosa, 20 minutes to the Amamoor Country Music Muster, only 1 km to Mitchell Creek Rock and Blues Festival, 15 minutes to Borumba Dam.
We own a working Dairy Farm, the next property on from the camping site. Opposite the camping grounds we plant summer feed (White Sorghum Silage) and Winter feed (Oats or Barley).
Bring you own fire pits. All weather access road, if towing please use 4WD.
Please note we do not have drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste.

Bring your dogs, there’s a dam down the back of property the dogs like to swim in or you can drive to close by creeks for swimming for everyone. 20 mins to Cooroy, Eumundi, Kenilworth, 15 mins to Imbil.
Go for a leisurely walk down the road to the HUB on the Ridge, a local cafe and open for music and pizzas on Saturday nights. Really popular for motor bike riders so after an awesome day of riding, pit stop at the Hub Cafe, come set up camp and have a few beers around the fire.
If you wish to explore the area without your dogs (or horses), I also offer animal holiday care.
There is access to power and rain water in the front off road camps. Not enough water to fill your vans sorry. Please note reception can be poor at times.

The sites are level pastured camping areas with lovely trees providing good shade alongside the river. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched.
The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks.
You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles.
Access is 4WD or AWD only.
In severe weather the Mary River can flood. Be prepared to leave in extreme weather.
Campers must be self sufficient with their own camping toilet and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.

Tranquil rainforest camping along the majestic Amamoor Creek, relax in the forest and get back to nature. This is a lovely easy access campsite, enjoy the rainforest and flowing creek. You are surrounded by thousands of hectares of State Forest to enjoy mountain bike riding, bushwalking, birdwatching as well as plenty of trails for motorbikes and 4WDs.
I work as a forester in the surrounding Amamoor and Imbil State Forests, so I have plenty of advice on where to go and what to do. I run some cattle on my property, but the majority of my land is for conservation and land for wildlife.
Dogs are welcome. We have cattle so dogs must be well controlled and not bark or chase cattle or wildlife. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, firewood available to buy.
Access is for 4WD. Suitable for 4WD caravans, tents, swags, camper trailers. etc.

IMPORTANT please note, we do NOT have amenities or drinking water. You need to be self sufficient and bring your own shower/toilet, and take with you ALL waste.
The road to the campsite currently is only grass, when dry it is 2WD accessible, but 4WD is best.

This farm has been used as a working farm for around 40 years. This area is where the government planned a dam so generally we have water in the creeks. Most of the camp sites border the creek and all are designed to take caravans.
The house was the original Amamoor Head Ranger, Forestry division, home which was cut in two and relocated from town
up to the top of our hill. From here during the bush fire season you can see fires from Widgee, Kilcoy or the Sunshine Coast. We run on solar and rain water for everything in the house and creek or dam water for our orchards and gardens.
We run a variety of animals and several small orchards as well. Our creek runs into another near this causeway which leads to lots of water in a short time where it sounds like you are living on a beach. Always check with us beforehand if there has been heavy rain and there are several creeks in this area which leads to a rapid build up of water in a short time over many of the causeways out here. When there is water around, the creek will have lots of little fish and a large variety of frogs, some very weird looking ones to study.
While there are many animals on the farm, there are also wild animals who use it as their home and refuge so your pets
must be kept safe with you at night.
Swimming pool on the farm can be used if requested through booking.

During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings.
All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding.
Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek.
We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres.
We have 1km of creek frontage.
The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them.
It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots.
There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle.
This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower.
Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits).
The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure.
Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation.
The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more.
We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section.
Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

We ask that you please take all rubbish with you on departure and leave the area as you found it. All camp sites must be left in the same condition as you found it absolutely no litter of any kind. Messy campers will be reported to Hipcamp. Under no circumstances place any rubbish in any of the rubbish bins along Reeves Road as our neighbours are very unappreciative of this.
All this is just 5 minutes from Imbil and Kandanga where you can find everything you need for a great camping trip.

Borumba Dam is 4.5kms up the road. It is perfect for boating enthusiasts who want to fish or do various water sports.

Go for a leisurely walk down the road to the HUB on the Ridge, a local cafe and open for music and pizzas on Saturday nights. Really popular for motor bike riders so after an awesome day of riding, pit stop at the Hub Cafe, come set up camp and have a few beers around the fire.
If you wish to explore the area without your dogs (or horses), I also offer animal holiday care.
There is access to power and rain water in the front off road camps. Not enough water to fill your vans sorry. Please note reception can be poor at times.

The sites are level pastured camping areas with lovely trees providing good shade alongside the river. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched.
The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks.
You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles.
Access is 4WD or AWD only.
In severe weather the Mary River can flood. Be prepared to leave in extreme weather.
Campers must be self sufficient with their own camping toilet and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.
Pets are welcome.

Tranquil rainforest camping along the majestic Amamoor Creek, relax in the forest and get back to nature. This is a lovely easy access campsite, enjoy the rainforest and flowing creek. You are surrounded by thousands of hectares of State Forest to enjoy mountain bike riding, bushwalking, birdwatching as well as plenty of trails for motorbikes and 4WDs.
I work as a forester in the surrounding Amamoor and Imbil State Forests, so I have plenty of advice on where to go and what to do. I run some cattle on my property, but the majority of my land is for conservation and land for wildlife.
Dogs are welcome. We have cattle so dogs must be well controlled and not bark or chase cattle or wildlife. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, firewood available to buy.
Access is for 4WD. Suitable for 4WD caravans, tents, swags, camper trailers. etc.

Moy Park is our home and our livelihood, we are a working dairy farm with 120 milkers that supplies milk to Norco. Our farm is 160ac with the beautiful Mary river along the boundary, perfect for fishing and camping! It is situated in the Mary valley between Kenilworth (8 mins), Eumundi (15mins) and Imbil (12mins).
So lots of options to have an adventure, see new things and explore!

The river water levels depend on rainfall and run off.
We have 4 sites available with a short walk down to the river.
Fire pits are at all sites and camp fires are to be kept to the fire pits supplied only. There is plenty of dead wood and debris for fires, we have firewood available for you to buy so you don’t have to pack it as well.
No burning of any rubbish, especially cans and glass.
IMPORTANT please note, we do NOT have amenities or drinking water. You need to be self sufficient and bring your own shower/toilet, and take with you ALL waste.
The road to the campsite currently is only grass, when dry it is 2WD accessible, but 4WD is best.
Dogs must be on a leash at all times and must be cleaned up after. As we are a working dairy we are happy to trial having dogs here.

This farm has been used as a working farm for around 40 years. This area is where the government planned a dam so generally we have water in the creeks. Most of the camp sites border the creek and all are designed to take caravans.
The house was the original Amamoor Head Ranger, Forestry division, home which was cut in two and relocated from town
up to the top of our hill. From here during the bush fire season you can see fires from Widgee, Kilcoy or the Sunshine Coast. We run on solar and rain water for everything in the house and creek or dam water for our orchards and gardens.
We run a variety of animals and several small orchards as well. Our creek runs into another near this causeway which leads to lots of water in a short time where it sounds like you are living on a beach. Always check with us beforehand if there has been heavy rain and there are several creeks in this area which leads to a rapid build up of water in a short time over many of the causeways out here. When there is water around, the creek will have lots of little fish and a large variety of frogs, some very weird looking ones to study.
While there are many animals on the farm, there are also wild animals who use it as their home and refuge so your pets
must be kept safe with you at night.
Swimming pool on the farm can be used if requested through booking.

Avocado farm in the Mary Valley. Rich Red Volcanic soils. The property backs onto the Amamoor State forest, great for trail bike and horse riding or a hike if you're feeling fit.
Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.
The camp site is situated in a quiet country road with a flowing creek. There's a little bike track in the paddock across the road for the kids. (Pushbikes)

Bring the dirt bike and ride some of the best state forest riding around or just kick back and enjoy the sounds of nature. Please keep bike riding within the forrest. No dirt bike riding is allowed on property.
You will also be able to look up and see the avocado trees on the hill. Short trip to the local shop.

Perfect place for total peace and relaxation overlooking a beautiful dam full of flowering water lilies, water hens , ducks and the occasional kingfisher ☺️ also a family of wallabies grazing daily and kangaroos 😃 there is also a large covered picnic table which is fabulous for when it rains 😆☔️ totally private and no noise pollution of any kind, I never even heard a dog barking 👍 absolutely brilliant place and Steve is so extremely helpful and a star ⭐️ host as well as an amazing kind person 🥳👏🏼🥰 half an hour to Noosa Farmers Market or 20 minutes to Eumundi Market and these are such a treat for foodies 👍😋

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Yabba Creek Farm, the best Hipcamp we have stayed at.
Our site was Silky Oaks, loads of room for our van and two other smaller set ups. Level, lots of shade, well maintained site and the views are fabulous. Easy access to the creek below for a cool swim in the close by swimming hole and the free use of Kayaks was a real bonus.
Dean is the perfect host and could not have been more friendly and helpful.
We highly recommend Yabba Creek Farm , we’ll be back.

Absolutely incredible camp grounds which are very well maintained. On a farm with lots of animals, amazing swimming ponds and beautiful creeks. Toilets were very well kept and bins provided for easy clean up. Lots of wildlife around. Definitely will be going back soon!

We had a great long weekend at Sarah and Chris’ property. Plenty of room between all sites. Clean, stocked porta-loos were great. Property well maintained. Plenty of birds to watch and listen to. Phone reception was a bit hit and miss, we didn’t mind though.
Would happily go back again.

Fantastic Hipcamp. The camping area is very well maintained with clear signage, and campfire facilities. The kayaks are an add bonus with a leisurely paddle down the Mary River.
