Peaceful & beautiful

We had a wonderful stay at the Ranch with Chris and Lesley as our hosts who couldn't have been more welcoming, such a generous sized campsite with water hook up and electric. The view from our campsite was amazing so it was so peaceful and quiet , the perfect recharge place for us and a base to explore the area, we just had a wonderful time. Our dogs were so relaxed, was so nice to be able let them off lead for a run and we really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Spacious campsites & great views

We absolutely love Tuchekoi Ranch! We’ve now stayed twice and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. It’s a beautiful property with generous, spacious campsites, great views, and the added bonus of water and electricity hookups. We especially loved waking up to the beautiful winter mist rolling across the property in the early morning — so peaceful! Our dog also had a wonderful time exploring. During our first stay, Chris and Lesley were very understanding when we called to let them know we were running a little late. Our second stay had a slightly awkward start due to a combination of the Hipcamp booking system and us being new to van life. We were rushing to arrive on time and didn’t properly read the booking information or remember to call on arrival. The following morning, Chris and Lesley rolled up at our site understandably upset, thinking we hadn’t booked and not realising we were there. After a few tense moments, they realised we were paying guests and that the confusion was partly our fault. 😳 Once cleared up, they were very friendly and told us a mother koala and her baby had recently been spotted close to our campsite. Sadly, we didn’t get to see them this time! All that aside, we love Tuchekoi Ranch and plan to return again soon. Hopefully next time we’ll get to see those koalas! 🐨❤️

Chris and Lesley were exemplary hosts. The camp ground was well maintained and it is being actively improved so will only get better. Sad to think that the site we were on might be taken up with a glamping tent (we enjoyed the views) but plenty of room elsewhere for a short stay. It was great to have our dog have thrle freedom to run around.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay on Site 3 with our caravan and our dog. The host's directions were clear, making the property easy to access, which is always a massive plus when towing. It is a fantastic setup with a great powered site and water connected, making for a super comfortable and hassle-free stay. The location itself is perfect—you get peace, quiet, and beautiful views, yet you are still very conveniently located. It’s only about 15 minutes into Pomona and an easy drive over to Imbil. Best of all, it is completely dog-friendly, so our furry companion was able to enjoy the getaway with us. If you are looking for a scenic, relaxing spot that is easy to get to but still close to great local towns, we highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again!

This property has great access, Chris and Lesley are great hosts, the views are amazing so quiet and peaceful place to visit and relax. The dogs were free to run and they had the best time.

Idyllic spot within a short walk from camping area to access the Mary River (caught a number of Bass). Hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made our stay very enjoyable.

What a fantastic property! We stayed on site 1 which is closest to the entrance and it was an amazing stay. Chris and Leslie were fantastic hosts, super friendly and helpful with local places to visit! The property is well maintained and it's an added bonus of power and water. The site was very shady under the big trees and has a big fire pit. We will definitely be back with our kayak!

Chris was a great host on the splendid property he owns with his wife. Very well maintained, peaceful and close to Inbil. Our dog was free to walk without a leash under our control. We were on a non powered site, very large with water available nearby. Highly recommend and grateful for the stay, exchanges and additional night at a great rate.

Great stay with Chris at the ranch. Chris was very accommodating and assigned us a private spot where we could set up our 20 ft van for the long weekend. Nice and quiet, with a great location to base yourself in to explore the surrounding hinterland towns.
