Tuchekoi Ranch

Chris and Lesley were exemplary hosts. The camp ground was well maintained and it is being actively improved so will only get better. Sad to think that the site we were on might be taken up with a glamping tent (we enjoyed the views) but plenty of room elsewhere for a short stay. It was great to have our dog have thrle freedom to run around.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay on Site 3 with our caravan and our dog. The host's directions were clear, making the property easy to access, which is always a massive plus when towing. It is a fantastic setup with a great powered site and water connected, making for a super comfortable and hassle-free stay. The location itself is perfect—you get peace, quiet, and beautiful views, yet you are still very conveniently located. It’s only about 15 minutes into Pomona and an easy drive over to Imbil. Best of all, it is completely dog-friendly, so our furry companion was able to enjoy the getaway with us. If you are looking for a scenic, relaxing spot that is easy to get to but still close to great local towns, we highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again!

This property has great access, Chris and Lesley are great hosts, the views are amazing so quiet and peaceful place to visit and relax. The dogs were free to run and they had the best time.

Idyllic spot within a short walk from camping area to access the Mary River (caught a number of Bass). Hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made our stay very enjoyable.

A very private, tidy and thoughtfully laid out camping ground. We had a great view overlooking farmlands from our vantage point on the ridge. Camp site #3 was a drive-through site - bonus points

What a fantastic property! We stayed on site 1 which is closest to the entrance and it was an amazing stay. Chris and Leslie were fantastic hosts, super friendly and helpful with local places to visit! The property is well maintained and it's an added bonus of power and water. The site was very shady under the big trees and has a big fire pit. We will definitely be back with our kayak!

Chris was a great host on the splendid property he owns with his wife. Very well maintained, peaceful and close to Inbil. Our dog was free to walk without a leash under our control. We were on a non powered site, very large with water available nearby. Highly recommend and grateful for the stay, exchanges and additional night at a great rate.

Great stay with Chris at the ranch. Chris was very accommodating and assigned us a private spot where we could set up our 20 ft van for the long weekend. Nice and quiet, with a great location to base yourself in to explore the surrounding hinterland towns.

Beautifully maintained and lovely location. Land owners were so welcoming and helpful. Had the most relaxing time (plus it was so nice to be able to let the dogs off leash!). Will definitely be back again :)

The perfect place for our caravan’s maiden voyage! Tuchekoi Ranch is tranquil and beautiful; and Chris is a wonderful host. The place is easy to find; it’s handy to have access to power and water (while we’re still working out how much we need); and there’s lots of space for the dogs to run around safely. The stars were fabulous and the birdsong was delightful. And we were able to do a side trip out to the Apollonian Hotel to lunch, where the dogs were also welcome. We were very happy campers and we will return!

Central to lots local attractions.

Was a great base to stay at whilst we explored the local area for 9 days. Very central to lots of different towns and tourist spots. Nice big camp sites. Trees close enough for our hammock. Shady and with power and water. Bit of traffic noise from the adjacent gravel road at all times of the day and night and you can hear the highway noise also. Host Lesley was very friendly and kind including sharing her knowledge of places to visit and get supplies from. Sadly a negative was whilst we were packing down, at 10.30am and still an hour and a half till checkout time, Chris came on a very loud industrial sized ride on mower and mowed our site, whilst we were in the middle of packing up! Around our belongings! No acknowledgement of us. Then back through multiple times as we moved things. Even coming within centimetres of our car and van to do so. It was also the only spot he mowed, all around our site 3. Check out is at 12pm and check in is not until 2pm so surely this could have been done after we had left in that 2 hour window. We thought this was odd rude behaviour that made us feel unwelcome, rushed and certainly left us leaving disappointed.

Beautiful views and relaxing stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Tuchekoi ranch! We were are group of four plus our senior dog and we’re so happy to have stayed there, we all wished we had stayed longer! Chris and his family are so lovely, and they even let us change to a nicer spot with amazing views. The land is immaculate and so well taken care of. It’s so handy to have tap water too. The place is peaceful and relaxing, and even though there were other groups, they were far away enough that we didn’t feel any noise. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure!

Wind down and relax at Tuchekoi

We had the best Easter at Tuchekoi Ranch, easy to find and centrally located for day trips to Kennilworth, Imbil, Pomona and Gympie, all within 20 mins or so and less than 90 mins from north Brisbane. Huge site so our family had plenty of room for vans, games with our dog and bike riding, power and water were a bonus. Dump points at Imbil and Kenilworth are only 15 to 20 mins away. So relaxing, green rolling hills, bushland, abundant bird life and we loved the campfires each night. Sites are well spread out and Chris and Lesley were so welcoming and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Amazing hosts. Thank you for the most relaxing and restful few days for our family get together. We will be back and can thoroughly recommend a stay at Tuchekoi Ranch.
