I was a last minute request and Michelle was already full. She was super accommodating and let me camp in another paddock which was a cracking spot also. Would highly recommend to anyone considering it.

Such a peaceful and spacious campsite right by the river. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The host was very welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Great basic campsite, 2wd access, slashed grass, fire pit provided. Fresh sour dough loaf in the morning was a worthwhile investment. Canoe access for our paddle upstream was easy. Cheers

Nice spot by the Mary River with a great outlook and cows roaming around in the paddock next to us. Nice and quiet.
Only issue is it can get a bit soggy with a lot of rain. Check with the hosts before going after a lot of rain.
Hosts Michelle and Matthew were great and recommend staying there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful camping place. It was serene and has an amazing view to wake up to every morning. Michelle goes above and beyond to make your stay wonderful, and we enjoyed our fresh sourdough bread in the morning. We can’t wait to be back to this slice of paradise!

Beautiful on the hill or by the river Dairy farm camping.

What a beautiful spot...very peaceful with lots of room to spread out. The views are lovely and Michelle was so helpful and accommodating. And she makes the most amazing bacon and cheese sourdough!!! We really enjoyed our stay.

Great few days down by the river. Amazing star gazing and enjoyed using it as a Basecamp to go out and view all the waterfalls around the area.

Super peaceful and the right amount of secluded. We didn’t feel like we were sharing our space with anyone and the setting we were in was absolutely beautiful. We could see the river from our site and had a lot of shade as well.

What an awesome camp spot. Michelle was a fantastic host, her sour dough she made for us was the best. It was do peaceful even though there were other campers there. The sites were really large which we love.

Absolutely LOVED our stay here! This place is truly a hidden gem, and we will definitely be back. Michelle’s hospitality is next level—she offers fresh eggs and homemade sourdough, and let me tell you, that sourdough is absolutely incredible. The campsite itself is perfect—peaceful, spacious, and ideal for dogs. The swimming spot is amazing, that’s perfect for a refreshing dip. Whether you’re after relaxation or adventure, this spot has it all. Easily a 10/10 experience!

Amazing place to camp! The campsite isn’t far from the main gate and is easy to navigate to and from. We had an awesome view of the river from our set up which was great to swim in when the day got too warm. Perfect place for kicking back and enjoying the gorgeous scenery around you. We left as happy campers and managed to get some donuts from the kenilworth bakery (roughly 10 mins from campsite). Definitely worth coming back 😁

I loved the tent camping at Down by the river. The camping area was very big and had a nice shady area under the tress with close access to the river. Kenilworth is a short 10 min drive and there's lots to see around the area. Michelle provided clear directions and met me on arrival with all the necessary information. I recommend and will be back if in the area.

Excellent directions, camping area was clean, tidy and maintained, very short stroll down to the river. There are a few areas to sit in the river and cool off. Plenty of fish. Short drive into Imbil or Kenilworth

A nice area for camping, with an easy 1 min walk down to the river, where we managed to get some fish. Closely located to Kenilworth and Imbil if you need supplies. The sites are located away from the main road and have lovely sunset views of the bluff. Michelle was very helpful and attentive. The camp area has a few sites, so there may be other people camping there too, but it’s still private.

Great campsite. Michelle (the owner) met us on arrival and showed us around. Fire pits were provided at request and the river was awesome to have a swim in - our little dog loved it. Super close to Kenilworth if you want to get a treat from the bakery. Highly recommend!
