Set on 4,000 acres of natural granite rock country and untouched overgrowth of lush tea tree bushlands, the sheer beauty of the land will, without a doubt, leave you breathless of its raw natural beauty. Binghi Station surrendered to the ravaging bush fires of 2019, however, after this devastation came some much needed rainfall which brought hope; the creation of new life in the form of rich, vibrant green country not seen since the 1980’s. You can explore endlessly on this raw outback property. Discover secret hideouts, come and enjoy a swim under our flowing waterfall (for those brave enough to during the winter months!) and simply relax and soak in pure wildlife beneath a million stars in the night sky. Binghi Station is designed for the 4x4 enthusiasts. In other words we strongly recommend access by 4WD only as the entry 6klm driveway is very rugged and bumpy in most places due to heavy rain fall past 12 months. Please ask for more details if necessary should you have any concerns based on your equipment. Its an ongoing maintenance. Its the 4x4 adventure. We would rather talk it down than up:-) Currently we do not recommend SUV AWD type cars due to there lower profile and vulnerability to bumps and ruts. It is doable many do it all however about driver confidence and add another upto 2hours to trip :-) We recommend parking up the top driveway and having a preplanned lift down. BE WARNED The driveway and some tracks are rough suited for 4x4 adventure enthusiasts that like to use there pride and joy offroad gear for what its intended. ps One thing we can say you will never get bogged on our driveway no matter the rain fall as its very compacted despite its authentic rough character. The Secret Gorge site is suited to tents, camper trailers and smaller length caravans. All our other site locations are suited to off-road 4WD caravans and camper trailers. Binghi Station - an extraordinary place to make some truly wonderful family memories. :-)

We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. Relax on the deck chairs and read a book, or sit at the bar and enjoy a drink while watching the wildlife. There’s a table with chairs to enjoy your breakfast or dinner outside.The loft bedroom has a queen bed. There’s reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable. The kitchen is self contained with a small microwave/oven, a 60 cm ceramic cooktop, a medium size fridge/freezer, a toaster and kettle. The lounge room has a couch, 40 cm TV with DVD player, small table and chairs. There’s no free to air TV channels available. BYO DVD or there’s a small selection available. No Wi- Fi There’s a small firepit and chairs in the yard to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains and stars at night. The cabin is a few minutes drive to the creek where you can go swimming. Relax on the sun lounge listening to the birds sing and Christmas Creek flowing by, or enjoy a Scenic drive or bushwalk in the local area. Christmas Creek Café is just down the road. Campers are encouraged to meander along the continually changing River and explore its many secluded swimming holes and enjoy the abundant wildlife that cohabitates with the Angus/Wagyu cow herd. Direct access to the neighbouring National Parks and State Forests offers an array of day trips to hikers, mountain bikers, or horse riders where they can discover the natural treasures of Basket Swamp and Boonoo Boonoo Falls, Woolool Woolooni, among others. For those who require a little more comfort, and lets face it we all do at times, the Mindoo Cabin is available. Featuring three bedrooms, open plan living/dining/kitchen,and a shady deck overlooking the River the cabin sleeps eight and still allows visitors to partake in all the adventures that "Mindoo" offers with the benefit of a comfortable rest when the day is done. Unfortunately horse riding is no longer covered by our insurance policy. You are able to bring your horses, however evidence of your own insurance policy must be provided. Be as adventurous or as restful as you please as both options are freely available. Mountain Biking, Hiking, or just riding your hammock and relaxing we are sure you will enjoy your time at "Mindoo". All of our river sites are designated and are space apart. As most of our sites are on the river and have farm tracks to access, if it is wet we may have to move you to a different site. 4wds are recommended for all sites and are required for some site. Please read the listing for the campsite you are wanting to book. Some of our sites do not suit caravans. All roads require high clearance vans. If you do not like dogs or your own dogs are not very sociable Mindoo may not be the place for you. Once you book whether it is for a group of one or 25 no one else can book the site. The site is not visible from the road. Just over an hour from the Gold Coast and Brisbane. At Logan Park Farm we have camping grounds and Murphy's Country Accommodation - a three bedroom cottage. Scenic Rim Regional Council Camp Ground Licence Acc21/0010 and Acc21/0012 There are no facilities here, if you do not have toilet facilities please do not book any of our sties. Firewood is available please message if you require it. Please arrive to camp prior to dark. Message host if you need to arrive later. The camp sites are spacious with plenty of distance between each site - no crowds. Each site is for your group only. Open for bookings for Christmas and New Year - numbers are limited. No large parties. We prefer to promote a quieter area. Beautiful sunsets, mountain views, birds and quiet surroundings. Enjoy the stars on a clear night. Explore the beautiful Scenic Rim area from here. Visit the historic Tamrookum All Saints Memorial Church. A large natural lagoon and the Logan River provide opportunities to relax, swim, fish or kayak. An abundance of Carp and Tilapia provide great fishing opportunities at the Lagoon or the Logan River. Children aged 12 years and under no charge (please do not include them in your numbers when making a booking) Pet friendly off-grid camping. All sites are unpowered. No motorboats or motor bikes. No parties - this is a quiet camping area please keep noise including music to a minimum level. Please respect our wildlife, our neighbours and your camping neighbours at all times. Discover secret hideouts, come and enjoy a swim under our flowing waterfall (for those brave enough to during the winter months!) and simply relax and soak in pure wildlife beneath a million stars in the night sky. Binghi Station is designed for the 4x4 enthusiasts. In other words we strongly recommend access by 4WD only as the entry 6klm driveway is very rugged and bumpy in most places due to heavy rain fall past 12 months. Please ask for more details if necessary should you have any concerns based on your equipment. Its an ongoing maintenance. Its the 4x4 adventure. We would rather talk it down than up:-) Currently we do not recommend SUV AWD type cars due to there lower profile and vulnerability to bumps and ruts. It is doable many do it all however about driver confidence and add another upto 2hours to trip :-) We recommend parking up the top driveway and having a preplanned lift down. BE WARNED The driveway and some tracks are rough suited for 4x4 adventure enthusiasts that like to use there pride and joy offroad gear for what its intended. ps One thing we can say you will never get bogged on our driveway no matter the rain fall as its very compacted despite its authentic rough character. The Secret Gorge site is suited to tents, camper trailers and smaller length caravans. All our other site locations are suited to off-road 4WD caravans and camper trailers. We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. Wow, words can not do justice the amazing time we had at the Ranch! The river views, the hospitality, the tranquility & the fire baths were just magical. Shanti has truly created a slice of heaven out there. For the icing on the cake, make sure to book the horse trek + swim.. i’ve done many treks in my life and this was the best. Plenty of trotting and cantering through stunning scenery, finished by a swim with the horses. Shanti’s way with horses is so special to witness, you can tell they love her as much as she loves them. We will be back, with friends in tow.

We had a great one-night stay here. The host was very welcoming and made the whole experience easy from the start. The scenery was beautiful with rolling hills in the background and horses grazing right up around the camp, which made it feel peaceful and close to nature. Fresh air, quiet surroundings, and a relaxing atmosphere — exactly what we were looking for. Would happily stay again!

My family loved camping at Gleneden farm. We had a fantastic experience at Bullockies campsite for 2 nights (despite the rain)! Our little toddler grandbaby enjoyed seeing the chicks, piglets (who are free range around the property), the horses who are absolutely majestic and friendly, and love a good nose scratch, and the beautiful bullocks. We had some lovely evenings around the campfire, which is the perfect end of the day. Also I need to mention a lovely lunch at the local Maryvale pub, live music when we went there, sensational. Overall we would love to go back if we have the opportunity.

We stayed for two nights at the Big Dam Camp Site and it was absolutely beautiful. Anna’s hospitality was incredible — she went above and beyond during our stay, and I would 100% recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back! 🥰 We forgot our gas bottles and all the firewood was wet, but Anna helped us out and even lent us her own gas bottle. We’re so thankful for such an amazing host! The campsite we chose had a little dam with a kayak, was extremely private, and was exactly what we were looking for. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway!

We stayed at Kingfisher camp for a few days. The site itself is raised above the river by a few metres, so you look down onto it which is lovely for watching the wildlife. The cows are very inquisitive and quickly demolished our tall, portable dog fencing to investigate our camp which wasn't ideal, but it's part of camping in a paddock. We didn't use their amenities but did take a sticky beak and they are well designed and spotlessly clean. Will definitely return.

In Queensland, just north of the NSW border, in the Running Creek area of the "Scenic Rim". The nearby National Park is Mt Chinghee, which is part of the Shield Volcano Group of the World Heritage Site Gondwana Rainforests of Australia. We have grassed valleys and forested hills, which provide the perfect setting for bush walking, bird watching, star gazing, or just relaxing. All of our camp sites are well separated from each other. If it's total seclusion and privacy you're after, "Fig Tree" and "Ridge Top" would be perfect for you. While "The Old Hut", and "Washout" are closer to the road, they are not visable to each other. Our newest addition., "The Reserve" is tucked away on the banks of a special shady grassed area with lots of room to spread out. Guests staying with us must have their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. The sites are accessible for 4WD only. Get back to nature and explore. Many native animals have been spotted on the property wallabies, possums, echidnas, goannas, bandicoots, dingos, and koalas as well as a large variety of birds. Also a variety of frogs i.e.. Red/orange eyed tree frog, desert tree frog, white lipped tree frog, striped and spotted marsh frogs, striped rocket frog and stoney creek frogs. ( see how many different calls you can hear) This beautiful 200acre property in Camp Creek is part of the original "selection" by William Dimmock in 1895. It was a dairy farm, and at one stage the family grew market garden crops on a plateau high up the mountain, using a flyingfox to bring the crops down. Originally the property took in "Screw Gully" from Glenapp up to Tartar Creek Rd. In the 60's Jim Dimmick (grandson to William) sold out and the land was sub-divided. The property now supports up to 40 head of breeding cattle and 2 retired horses. Scenic Rim hosts local wineries; restaurants and coffee shops, and Mt Tamborine, all within an hour drive. Only a 1.5 hour drive to the Gold Coast.

It's around 1km to The Channon Craft Market grounds, and the markets are on the second Sunday of each month. Lots of crafts, clothes, jewellery, gifts, food stalls and entertainers to see and enjoy. This campsite is located right on the banks of the flowing creek. It's a private site with access to two good swimming holes. There is access to rubbish facilities. For those wanting to explore a bit further we are 15kms from Nightcap National Park and the beautiful Protesters Falls. Find us on a large property on the banks of the Timbarra River, located 20 km / 30 min south of Drake Village (an old gold mining community). We share the property with lots of wildlife, and with our resident cows. There is currently only one camping site accessible by car (the River Block), but if you're up for a trek we can point you to the back hills where you'll find a whole other world. Your hosts live further back on the property so you can find us if you need help. Please note there is no mobile reception, so it is a great way to get away from it all. There are no bins here... please remove all your rubbish on departure. Campfires are welcome (when no fire ban). You can bring your own firewood, or gather what fallen timber you can find. The Timbarra or Rocky River is an area of great beauty southeast of Tenterfield with soaring mountains cradling the river flats and undulating hills below and is a renowned cattle breeding region. The Petrie family have been in Tenterfield since 1860 and have owned properties in the valley for over 100 years. Tim’s great-grandfather was known as Rocky Jack because of his extensive holdings. Cattle are still walked up to the Timbarra Plateau property from the river properties ‘Man From Snowy River’ style. The Plateau can be seen rising above the valley to the north from the confluence of Demon Creek and the Timbarra/Rocky River. These flow along the Demon Fault which is clearly visible on a satellite map. The 3 valley properties ‘Corner Camp’, ‘Boundary’ and ‘’Pavels’ combined with ‘Timbarra Plateau’ total over 25000 acres. The whole valley was part of 2 earlier large selections averaging 100000 acres which gradually became broken up in the late 1800s/early 1990s. There is a proud timber history in the valley and the surrounding forested mountains with large sections of State Forest now transferred to Washpool National Park which abuts both the eastern and western boundaries of ‘Boundary’ (which takes its name from Boundary Creek). The National Park and Forestland State Forest can be accessed to the west via the Billirimba Fire Trail. The eastern section of Washpool stretches across to the Clarence River, the largest eastern river in NSW. Washpool is where the Cedar King went missing and was never located. The Timbarra/Rocky River flows into the Clarence at Tabulam and then on to Grafton and out to sea at Yamba. The headwaters of the Rocky are all the way south to the Glen Innes Grafton road so the river can rise quickly if there is a downpour upstream. Interestingly when the Chinese gold miners left the Timbarra Plateau they came down with rickshaws into the Timbarra Valley then scaled the mountains to the west, near Boundary Creek, looking for their next gold diggings towards Glen Innes. The Boundary campsites at Boundary Riverside, The Cockatoo, The China Wall, and the Caves are all suitable for caravans, RVs, Camping trailers, tents and swags as is Timbarra Plateau. Corner Camp and Pavels are suitable for camping trailers, tents and swags. Boundary campsites access are all unaffected if the river rises however we will not take bookings at Corner Camp or Pavels in the likelihood of the river rising as we are committed to safety and avoiding inconvenience for guests. The Rocky is a very special place and we have campers who first came as children and are now bringing their grandchildren. We expect our guests to treat the area respectfully, and only leave footprints and tyre tracks. The valley provides wonderful scenery and settings for bushwalking, birdwatching, photography, painting, bicycle riding, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing, or just kicking back relaxing by the river, listening to the soothing sounds of the water, birds, and the turtles and platypus splashing, or being amazed at the mirror like images on the waters surface on a still day or the flickering light of a campfire at night and the stars above.

We have moved our camping area to a new position on “Jindalee”. This area is in a sheltered glade with views out to the north. There is a clean pit toilet with hand washing water. - bring your own drinking water. It is a large open space suitable for even the biggest rig. We have camp fire areas and offer a supply of wood, more wood can be purchased off Bob the caretaker. We are 40kms from Gibraltar Range National Park, pet friendly, and offer secure camping and a place to leave your pets so you can explore the area. We offer a pet minding service during the day for a small fee for those who want to visit the National parks. There is a bitumen road to the boundary and then an all-weather gravel road to the site. So whether you indulge in pants off, or leave them on and just fish it’s up to you. Explore a little further and you’ll find ‘The Abyss’ a former micro quarry, 9m deep waterhole. The creeks have waterfalls, swimming holes, pure and clean, though are a rugged unmarked hike. The sites are site only. You’ll need to take care of your waste, water, rubbish and power. Generator is ok, we’re out of earshot, so is everyone else. Each site has a picnic table and a fire pit and an abundance of ‘cut your own’ firewood upon the ground. Remember, fires this time of year are for ‘cooking only’, so be sure to bring those marshmallows… Pet Friendly, 4WD friendly with a bunch of serious challenges too… Horse friendly too, yep, there’s a yard to keep them too, up by the house. Accessible by 2WD with sites with enough space for any size caravan or motor home. While exploring, if you find a spot you’d rather camp, simply ask. We live on the property so help is nearby for any issues and the access road is shared. Peace, quiet and nature abounds.

Bajimba Eco Camp is part of our stunning family property nestled in the surrounds of Mt Bajimba in the Northern Tablelands of NSW, 40 minutes south east of Tenterfield. Historically known as a resting point for bullock teams hauling timber from the surrounding forests on their way to a saw mill in the lower valley, Bajimba is now home to Merv & Carey. We are just over 1080 metres above sea level, with 57 acres of eucalypt & grass tree forests, grass pastures, and a small (but mighty) organic farm. Accommodation options include "West View “situated at our highest elevation with incredible views from the deck, and "Bullock Camp" which can accommodate tents, caravans or motor homes. When making travel arrangements, note we are in NSW and therefore are 1 hour ahead of QLD during day light savings months. Winegrove is our home base for our working beef cattle properties which includes our small hardwood timber mill. Winegrove consists of 656 acres. The 2 Winegrove campsites are located along 1.2km overlooking the pristine Clarence river exclusively spaced @ 500m apart. P2 and P3 also have great views and are sheltered and private. Note: Fig Tree Lookout P2 is out of flood levels and can be accessed by high clearance 2WD, however we do recommend having 4WD just in case during wet conditions. Boulder Bay P3, which has ONLY 4WD access, can flood during a major flood in the Clarence river, however you can park/camp higher up when wet. [Note: Hacketts Haven is our new property, located near Copmanhurst which boasts your own exclusive panoramic view overlooking the Clarence River. The site is approximately 13-14 metres clear/elevated from the river.] Obedient pets permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around. No amenities so campers need to BYO everything they need and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place - check with host. Firewood for sale by the bag at homestead.

Malabar Farm is a working Beef and Equine property situated in walking distance (600 metres to the Hotel) from the idyllic village of Uki. Steep in farming history, was originally a part of the logging district and later operated as a dairy up until early 2001. The farm nestles in to the foothills of Uki and the Twin Sister Mountains. The southern boundary is 2 klm of Tweed River. 3 permanent creeks meander through the property providing an abundance of wild life and camp sites to dream of. The long stretch of Tweed River frontage provides for fishing (bass aplenty), and canoeing. The equine training and breeding section of the farm is to be visited by appointment most days, and for safety reasons is not commonly accessible. Petting of small animals is an optional extra for children and beginners, can also arrange a riding lesson in one of the 2 enclosed arenas, as another optional extra cost.

Harper Farms is a fourth generation, family owned cattle property out of the small township of Cangai; just 50 minutes west of Grafton. Located along the Mann River, just one kilometre off the Gwydir Highway, campers will find easy access to our riverfront site. The property is bordered by the Dandahra Creek and the Mann River, and boasts a variety of native bird and wildlife; peacocks, platypus, ducks and the occasional pelican to name a few. The Mann River is open to fishing November - July; and is a local favourite as a kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and swimming destination. Beef cattle and stock horses have been run continuously on the property since the early 1900s, and our friendly horses and cows will often pay a visit to the campsite. Along with our working dogs, we also run a small breeding kennel of Golden Retrievers and Border Collies. Dogs are always welcome on the farm, and we simply ask that camp visitors keep them under their control during their stay. A small shop with basic amenities (groceries, camp supplies, fishing bait, fuel) is located at Jackadgery; a 15 minutes drive east on the Gwydir Highway. To the west of Harper Farms lies the Gibraltar Range which hosts Washpool National Park with walking trails, waterfalls, rainforest and swimming areas. Away from the city lights, the Cangai area offers exceptional stargazing and is popular with keen astronomers and photographers. Our property currently hosts one large campsite; ideal for family and large group gatherings. Booking the site includes complete privacy for your group whether large or small. Our family and friends have gathered at Harper Farms for over a century to enjoy the beauty of the Cangai area, and we are excited for you to come “Camp Cangai” too!

Our sites are completely isolated from town, with views and not visible from the road. Sites are set among nearly 100 acres of a mix of open land and rainforest. Multiple natural springs exist on the property and a few small spring-fed waterholes are scattered down the cascading hills. Friendly ducks, geese, fish, horses and an abundance of native wildlife live here. This location is home to several endangered species due to being one of the last isolated pockets of rainforest in the area. Sites are part of The Bush Clinic where we specialise in designing and making natural creams, soaps, teas, dodorants and other products as well as running regular Meditation courses and topics such as Energy, Frequency, Grounding and Advanced Organic Growth techniques for those wanting to join in are formally available during your stay. We are new to HipCamp so have limited facilities at present, but they are in progress and we have loads of space per site, comfortable, and lots to offer for those wanting to reconnect with Nature. If you know what ley-lines are - this is the right place to visit ;-) PS if you are towing a van or camper pls remember to engage 4wd at the front gravel gate (low range 2nd is best).
