Hidden Valley is on 26 acres with frontage to Grady's Creek (the creek is our front boundary) and our back boundary is a goods train line, the train occasionally gives a toot to campers.
We offer general camping, an area for tents and swags and we welcome custom group bookings.
We have two amenities blocks (six toilets and six hot showers).
Firewood and ice available for purchase.
Hidden Valley is a dog friendly camping ground. However, it is the responsibility of the owner/s to keep their dog/s controlled at all times and on leashes, for all campers to enjoy their stay. There is no Local Council rubbish removal services available, so please take all your rubbish with you on departure. Facilities for recycling of cans and scraps is available.
Please note that the Brisbane to Sydney goods train is nearby. Times vary according to supplies to port and the train may be heard from the campsite.

Enjoy 360-degree mountain views from our top paddock, ideal for those with a self contained set up. The flatter parts of the property enjoy dam views, with gorgeous sunrise and sunsets, close to Maroon and Moogerah dams.
We have two dams on the property, so bring your kayak or inflatable.
Camp under the gum trees, with kangaroos as your closest neighbours. Watch the pademelons, and bandicoots forage for their tucker, and if you are lucky, you might catch sight of an echidna. This property is full of lots of local wildlife, including king parrots and the unmistakable hum of cicadas.
The property is located on the iconic Scenic Rim, near to Rathdowney, Boonah, Kalbarri and Mount Alford, making it a great base camp to explore the region. Queen Mary Falls and other scenic attractions are also nearby. This region is the most stunning region in SEQ. It's not called the scenic rim for nothing!!

Great spot. We pulled in late at night for a stop over whilst heading home. Tidy toilets and easy sites to drive in and stay hitched overnight.

Beautiful spot on the river, well maintained. When I stayed there was only one other camper at the time which allowed for us to be spaced out. Set up is similar to caravan park in style which is fine when not many people there however I can imagine it could get quite busy.. lovely shaded trees, lovely views.
Toilets were well maintained and hosts were friendly! I stayed with only my dog and felt the entire time.

Wideriverwater is an absolute cracker campsite if you’re looking to explore the Yamba region. It’s right next to the highway with the petrol station a few minutes down the road. There was plenty of space for our camp gear and even the tinny. The toilet was super clean and it was lovely that every campsite had a fire pit. John & Karen were absolute legends and such great host! Would 100% recommend.

We contacted John and Karen late in the afternoon needing somewhere to camp on our way back to Brisbane.
Experience was 10 out of 10.
We needed to check in late and they were kindly accommodating. Made the experience and the the view of the river was second to none.

From the road it was easy access through a gate to the riverside sites. It truly is a lovely spot and very well set out. The owners were lovely and we said we will definitely be returning. The toilets were new and very clean. There are firepits available which we didn't use as it was a very hot day. In saying that the sites are shaded by lovely trees and cool breezes coming off the river. There were the cutest cows and calves adjoining the campground behind fencing. We highly recommend staying here and we are looking forward to staying again.

Checkin was easy, Grounds are beautifully kept & the creekside is lovely, some nice big shade trees to camp & plenty of space, The amenities need attention, lights don’t work, showers are barely warm & it’s due for a good scrub down.
