It is the perfect destination to forget life's worries and relax in a beautiful natural environment. We are happy for you to enjoy riding push bikes on the property and to enjoy music around your campsite.
Bring your kids, dogs, push bikes, or even a canoe and get back to nature!
Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided and there is plenty of firewood available. Please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a fire.
There is a basic camp kitchen, toilet's, camp shower and a bar setup down near the dam for your use, complete with lights, weber BBQ, microwave, 2 hot plates, a toaster, sandwich press and fridge/freezer.
You can also hire out the entire property just for your group or special occasion - please see entire property listing.
We also have a mini camp shop on site that's also stocked with the hire items you will notice in the extras section(on the hipcamp app) and there are also many more items you may forget like frozen bread, milk and even ice also including but not limited to (depending on availability) -

Riverbend is a working, historic farm from 1886. It boasts magnificent views as we are on the hilltop and the sunsets are unforgetable. Private, level sites with good shade. TRAIL BIKES - kids with no bigger than 50cc welcome but must ride in designated area under full parental supervision. For adults there are huge state forests next door with fantastic trails as will as the sand trails in the enormous pine forests close by.
PARTY SHED - if you wish to have a bit of a party, band, get together etc we have a pretty groovy 100 year old shed for hire.

Enjoy a meal at the nearby Gundy Pub or explore the surrounding area. Bauple Mountain is 5km away which is a great spot for walking and hiking. Mary River is down the road 4km and a great spot for fishing. The national trail runs along the river and is a great spot for walks or bike rides. We have a number of horse riding camps in the nearby area as well.We have fire drums available and well behaved pets are welcome. Our large dam is home to fish and many native ducks, herons, swamp hens, cormorants, and more. Bird song trills through the forest daily, with flocks of wild parrots in the high trees. Occasionally, goannas and dragon lizards can be seen sunning themselves, and later in the day, wallabies and kangaroos can be seen making their move. Look out for the native brown and green frogs.
Bring your kayak and paddle and swim in the large dam. There are great bike trails in the nearby Glenwood forest areas.

We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here.
This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here.
No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

The property is a 1.3 acre bush block with a natural gully at the rear fence line, lots of wildlife including wallabies and many different types of birds. There is access to Tin Can Bay and several old pubs. We are located about half way between Maryborough and Gympie.
Querencia is a basic bush block with trees and wildlife - nothing fancy but we do offer access to essential items. The campsite has a mix of open spots and tall gum treed areas. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water, rubbish amenities, power and wifi.
In the evenings you can relax around the campfire and warm your feet whilst you gaze at the starry skies above. Kids will love toasting marshmallows. There's plenty of firewood on site.
This property is 2WD accessible with plenty of space to pull through if you're towing a trailer or caravan.
