Right on the beautiful Mary River, we offer overnight a range of camping options. Although our farm worker Errol has left we still continue to provide the extra large, properly mowed sites that we know our guests and their kids love. **We have plenty of spacious, level RV and tent sites. Many are waterfront on the clean, spring fed lagoon. **Dogs have plenty of space to run and swim off leash. **Fire pit and our kayaks are provided free. Firewood is available. **Private river access for swimming, fishing, gold panning/ fossicking and paddling. Riverbend is a working, historic farm from 1886. It boasts magnificent views as we are on the hilltop and the sunsets are unforgetable. Fshing - mostly bass, saratoga, perch, eeltail catfish, tilarpia Swimming - in the river, rock pools, small rapids or in our big lagoon Paddling- the beautiful Mary River offers a variety of paddling experiences. Yabby catching - traps or meat on a string in the big lagoon Fossicking and panning for gold - in the river. PUSH BIKES E BIKES - the farm is suitable for both TRAIL BIKES - kids with no bigger than 50cc welcome but must ride in designated area under full parental supervision. For adults there are huge state forests next door with fantastic trails as will as the sand trails in the enormous pine forests close by. PARTY SHED - if you wish to have a bit of a party, band, get together etc we have a pretty groovy 100 year old shed for hire.

This beautiful camp with its old custard apple tree and magnificent sun sets, sits on the riverbank above the Mary River. At night the sound of rushing water below is very relaxing. An easy walking track nearby takes you down to the river. All sites have a fire pit and wood available. Our sites are huge and you do not share with other campers. We stayed 2 nights mid-week and had the whole place to ourselves. Stayed in our self contained van overlooking the tranquil dam, ducks, sunset, beautiful bushland. Owners horses came down for a visit, incredibly friendly. Plenty of firewood, fire rings. Little bit of passing traffic noise but seriously wasnt loud enough to be an issue. Would be great for an extended family stay, plenty of flat, mowed grassy areas to chose from. Highly recommended.

Welcomed warmly on arrival, escorted to our site (usually told your site is here, then your on your own at other places)They made sure we were comfortable & happy with everything before leaving us to enjoy our stay. They even supplied fire wood that was topped up each night. It was a tidy, relaxing location, not over crowded, ample space between groups. Close to other towns for some sight seeing, lunch or shopping. Wonderful weekend.

Beautiful spot to pull up in the van with a few friends and enjoy the calmness of the countryside, we had a few visitors come in and say hello (horses) all hours day and night and was only a short walk to the river.

Wonderful place to camp! Swimming in the river is so refreshing, and the peaceful surroundings make it even more enjoyable. The owner is absolutely lovely and very welcoming. Highly recommended!

Lagoon site very pretty. Peaceful, horses roaming around, Lovely walk along Mary River with turtles and ducks seen. Close to access road so convenient entry and exit though some road noise intermittent, less at night. Inexpensive and helpful owners.

We loved camping here. Riverside 1 was so big and spacious. We had 6 families camping here and no one nearby. Beautiful landscape. It’s a bit of a walk down to the Rivers edge but worth it. The host was so nice and accomodating. Would definitely recommend.

Top of the hill Sunset
We had a wonderful trip at Riverbend. The hosts and horses are very friendly. Top of the hill sunset was the most private site over the long weekend and had wonderful views of the surrounds. The supplied firewood and fire pit was a highlight of our stay! Thank you for having us.

What a great little find. We had the place almost to ourselves (well, with the beautiful, inquisitive horses who live there!). The swimming was great, thoroughly enjoyed by pooches and humans alike. Firewood supplied and delivered. Some great unsealed forestry drives around and close enough to nearby towns to visit. Beautiful clear stars at night. Great little getaway to unwind.

Lovely spot - great swimming and paddling in the lagoon (kayaks supplied!). Owners showed us around the property and even delivered firewood. Horses were very inquisitive and paid a visit every evening. We will be back - thank you!

Very quiet lovely open rolling green fields, lots of flat areas, the dam was lovely and warm for swimming or kayaking and the river walk on the river side was very pretty. Internet service was very hit and miss couldn't monitor the storm activity

Fantastic Aussie bush property on the Mary river, plus a spring fed lake with beautiful water. The mornings were great foggy cool mornings , the weather had been dry for a whole Le so the grass was getting hard and dry, the horses are beautiful and love a pat. Playing golf on the makeshift gym of coarse was a bit of fun with the boys. The only problem we had was someone on an adjacent property was having what they called a party to all hours of the morning so you could just hear the bass till 7am, but that can happen anywhere. Would go again.
