The Old piggery is located in the back corner paddock of our 36 acre property. It is a 1 acre paddock with an undercover area, fireplace, bbq, rustic toilet and shower. To ensure you have the entire fenced paddock to yourselves we have listed it as one site. It is a flat shady site with an undercover bush kitchen and fireplace. There is also a seasonal creek with many species of wildlife. Located close to popular tourist locations - Mooloolaba Beach, hinterland, The Big Pineapple, Aussie World, Australia Zoo (all within 20 min drive). Guests will have access to a rustic toilet and shower during their stay. We have cattle on the property so please ensure gates are kept closed at all times. Kangaroos are regularly sighted on our property. Price is per person so please include the correct number of guests in your booking. We only take one booking at a time so you are guaranteed exclusive use of the site and facilities. Firewood can be collected from the paddock for free. This was such a great experience. We originally booked over the weekend of the QLD cyclone Alfred, and were only able to return in December, but the whole process was seamless. We booked on Hipcamp, arrived, checked in, and headed straight to the Mills Point camping area. The grounds were beautifully maintained, with manicured lawns, clean spaces, and everyone being respectful and keeping to themselves. It was a little more congested than I expected, but still a lovely, safe space for the kids. We went exploring through Pomona and Eumundi, wandered the markets, grabbed a coffee, picked up some biltong, and enjoyed the local atmosphere before heading back to spend the whole afternoon in the water. The scenery was gorgeous — ocean views, fresh air, kangaroos hopping by, plus a restaurant, a vibey bar, and even gelato on site. Overall, a wonderful stay and a place we’d happily return

Absolutely spectacular views of the glass house mountains and Moreton bay. Lovely green pastures and horses and cows come and meet you each afternoon. Not close to others so nice and private. Ground is undulating to steep (as you’d expect on a ridge) so bring plenty of levelling blocks. We’ll definitely be back!

Great campsite. Great location. Bonus pub on site that doesn’t awesome food and beers. We hadn’t been before but we booked two campsites as we thought one for each setup was required but one site is definitely big enough for a group of 4 with two tents and two vehicles. Will definitely be back!

We had the absolute best stay at Kookaburra Park! The camp sites are spread out so you don’t feel on top of other campers. The animal experiences are great and not only for kids!! And it’s dog friendly! Shout out to Steve and Oakley who are great hosts and their love for the land and the animals shows. Would definitely return!

A beautiful and peaceful space with everything you need. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, vege garden, birds, frogs, privacy. I loved using the outdoor bath. Bathroom and toilet spaces are very functional and clean. I love that there is no phone service, beautiful space to connect with nature. Used herbs and lots of beautiful spinach from the garden. Kenilworth and Imbil towns 15 minute drive, and can get service there if you need. Glen and Dominique are friendly and respect your privacy. Thank you so much guys.
