This was one of the most accomodating stays I have had with HipCamp (or even AirBnB). Hosts went above and beyond to make my stay nice - offered additional things such as a camping chair, fire pit, and bathroom to use. Having a bathroom to use while camping was more than I had expected. Great place for hammock camping - shady comfortable yard. So close to the beach and grocery store! If you enjoy hiking, this spot is very close to Stones Creek gameland -beautiful place to hike while its still not buggy. I highly recommend this as safe, comfortable place to camp.

We had an amazing experience and will definitely return. Kathrine and her family were super friendly and welcoming. My six-year-old really enjoyed the area and activities.

I really enjoyed my stay! The location felt safe and was conveniently close to supermarkets and restaurants (just a 5-minute drive) and only 15 minutes from the beach. I car camped this time, but the site looks great for tent camping too, which I’m planning to try next time. Kath was very responsive and answered all my questions quickly. Although I didn’t get to meet her in person, I still felt very welcome.

Very favorable location to North Topsail beach, well maintained land and friendly host. Kathrine was very responsive and accommodating and having a potty on site was a nice addition to our camping. Overall highly recommended, just remember to bring a bug spray lol

Just got back from an awesome RV trip to Sneads Ferry, North Carolina 🏖️! I can't believe how beautiful the area was, it was the perfect getaway. Our RV was super cozy, and it made the trip so much more enjoyable. The host was so friendly. Definitely will be coming back.

The best hosts, Katherine and Barry ever! The land behind their house is wooded and fishing and naure walks not far away. Also close to stores and laundromat. We hope to return next year.

The hosts were so incredibly kind and gracious! The property was easy to find, quiet, and such a breath of fresh air. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds and nature. We will definitely be back!

Very nice and clean camper five minutes from the beach. Grocery store, restaurants and gas station are close too. The host was very nice and their property was quiet. I would stay there again.

What really made our stay exceptional were the hosts, Kathrine and her husband. They were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. From providing detailed information about the area to offering assistance whenever needed, they truly made us feel at home.
We also appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the family-friendly environment.
The beach is very close.

The camper was absolutely what we were looking for. The solitude feeling even being in their backyard was magnificent. We were able to check in early which was a plus. Close proximity to the beach and local businesses. Their wonderful chickens and little garden was a reminder of home. Everything that we needed was met and more. Prefect for our little anniversary getaway. We found 80 shark teeth over the weekend.

Hosts were incredibly friendly and thoughtful. Easy to reach and just generally fantastic. Location is quiet and pretty with a ridiculously easy drive to the beach.

The host were very friendly and accommodating. They allowed me to choose my camping site. They offered me to eat hotdogs with them and watch their 4th of July fireworks display. I would highly reccomend this place.

A quiet and restful place to stay a short drive from the beach. My wife and I were warmly welcomed and the host went above and beyond both of our expectations. This was my first hipcamp experience and it exceeded both of our expectations.

Just an amazing place. Very beautiful and Katherine was very nice and understanding. Not all of our tent pieces were packed right and Katherine was very accommodating. Very friendly place. Will be coming back to in the future.

My stay at Kathrine’s land, Happy Haven, was very enjoyable. Kathrine is a great host and helped out to make sure I had everything I needed. She is also a great at communicating and always answered my text questions promptly.
On the second night I returned to the site and she invited me to her neighbors backyard where there were a number of locals sitting around a fire pit. We shared some conversation and it made for a relaxing and friendly evening.
The location is close to stores and the beach making it a convenient place to stay.

These are just lovely people and we enjoyed staying with them a lot! We were on a road trip through the state and were in need of a place for the night. Kathrine got back to me very fast and was very responsive and super nice. A late check in was possible and we were greeted by their beautiful daughter. We met the whole family and had a lot of interesting conversations. They even lit a fire for us and let us use the RV toilet. We would def come back and can recommend them to everyone. I really hope to meet them again in the future - never change! Greetings from the Germans:)

Greats hosts! I stayed overnight in my camper in a nice peaceful spot behind their home, no road noise or any distractions/disturbances! I arrived late and hadn’t had any dinner so they kindly offered me some pizza and a soda! Amazing hosts - would definitely recommend and stay again! Thanks guys!
