Located on the tourist loop between Maleny & Kenilworth on the Sunshine Coast, Kookaburra Park is an animal lovers dream! 75 acres to explore - Deer sanctuary - Animal feeding FREE each morning - Guinea Pig Parade - Hike our Jurassic Trail - 1 min to Booloumba Creek/Falls turnoff - Close to Conondale National Park Dog friendly! Hot showers, plenty of toilets, free laundry facilities and BBQs. Unpowered sites available close to amenities or further out in the bushland for more privacy. A proper camp ground not private property.

Be sure to mention what sort of setup you're in when booking so we can allocate you the best site. Every group get their own firepit. Daily animal feeding is FREE with your stay! Jurassic Trail hike - Fairy Garden - Animal Sanctuary 8 mins from the town of Kenilworth, loads of 4WD tracks, and National Parks to explore or chill around the fire and explore the park. **Please note Kookaburra Park is open ONLY Fri and Sat nights (plus long weekends and school holidays)

Large sites suitable for 1 - 3 setups together with your own firepit. Let us know your preferences when booking, though this listing is for 4WD locations. 2WD sites also available on our other listing (or mention when booking so we can allocate the best site for you!) Full on hectic 4WD'ing is not required, but access to these sites can get slippery over the grassy hills, and are these sites are all spread out with no close neighbours. Kookaburra Park is a boutique camp grounds with a variety of different sites. Some with views, some by a dam, some close to amenities and others further afield for more privacy. Let us know your preferences and we'll allocate you the best spot to suit! *Let us know if you are bringing a dog!* Dogs are our favourite kind of guest. One of our 4WD camping areas is not pet friendly however as our animal sanctuary crew are often in that field, along with our resident echidna family. Animal feeding is FREE with your stay every morning Hike the Jurassic Trail 2.4km return with epic views down the valley Make magic in the Fairy Garden Minutes away from Booloumba Creek & Conondale National Park 8 minutes from Kenilworth town 30 minutes from Maleny A family owned and run boutique accommodations park in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. **Please note Kookaburra Park is open ONLY Fri and Sat nights (plus long weekends and school holidays)

We loved camping at Kookaburra Park. It’s a perfect set up for families. Our allocated spot was in the paddock and we were happily surprised to find our site had water and power, and was nice and close to the great ammenities. Truly the best mix of camping with creature comforts without feeling on top of other guests. Our little one loved the very well organised animal feeding (guinea pigs, goats, sheep, deer, ducks, geese and pigs) and the hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming. We can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful Spot in Sunshine Hinterland. Lots of activities for children. Animal feeding, fires and clean amenities. Host is very welcoming and would do anything for you, thanks Steve.

4WD Bush Camping at Kookaburra Park
We just had the most enjoyable 5 nights at Kookaburra park. Prime spot overlooking most at top of the hill, but still insight of the amenities. The kids loved all the animal feeding and guinea pig cuddles. Beth the chicken was a favourite among everyone. Steve and his family were great hosts. You could do as much or as little as you wanted, with beautiful areas around to explore. Great location, one to remember. We will be back 😊.

Kookaburra Park was exceptional, from the location, the facilities and hosting a disco night during the school holiday weekends (not sure if this happens each time) and the fun farm activities made it a fun couple of days away from home. Highly recommend families to check out this property, Steve and his family make you feel right at home.

Beautiful place to visit, clean facility, and not overcrowded like other campsite. Don't miss out feeding Guinea Pig at 8am in the morning and Dears at 4pm in the afternoon on Saturday, absolutely very fun! Walking along the Jurassic trail is also good with fantastic view from the lookout near the end of the trail, unfortunately we didn't finish the trail because of late time during sunset. Highly recommend for families and friends looking for somewhere quiet and fun for camping.

Loved our stay here! We had a beautiful spot right by the dam, walking distance to the showers, toilet and drinking water tap. Facilities were really well maintained. The animals were a huge hit with our toddler, especially the Guinea pig feeding!

Really nice campground with good clean facilities and we got a nice private site. Great for kids due to all the animals and the walk to the rivers was pretty short. Close to a very nice town.

We were up the top on the flat and had privacy and a lovely view. Not too far from the amenities. Steve who runs the place was very easy to deal with and very accomodating. The kids loved the animal feeding. Highly recommend the place.

We had a lovely stay with our grandchildren and two dogs. The kids loved the animals particularly the Guinea pigs. We also did the Jurassic trail which was lots of fun. A lovely spot for families to camp.

A beautiful farm stay! Everyone in our group had an amazing time, from choosing our camp spot to cuddling the Guinea pigs and the hot choccys from reception. Will hopefully be back soon

Absolutely amazing! 10/10, even in the heavy rain it was beautiful and lots to do. The care takers were just so so lovely! Facilities were very clean! We will be back when it’s sunny next time!

This place is amazing! Definitely a hidden gem. The weather was not our friend but the hosts were very accommodating. It was the perfect sneaky parent’s getaway. We will definitely be back with the kids for round two!

Great atmosphere and lovely camp ground. Lots of different areas to cater for everyone's tastes. Abundant with wildlife and the farm animals are a nice touch. Ranger Steve is a legend. Highly recommend especially for young families.

We loved our stay at Kookaburra Park. The staff were wonderful to deal with and chat to. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful. Very spacious for all types of camping. Lots for the kids to do and they loved feeding the animals.
