Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Please be aware that there is a fishing ban on the Yabba Creek between the 1st of August and the 31st October every year. The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge". We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close. With only 4 sites, we offer a spacious camping area, spread out all to enjoy the views of the mountain and creek. Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or soak in the creek with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Above, birds of prey ride the thermals of the valley looking for their next meal. “We have been blessed beyond measure with a small slice of God’s wonderful creation that we would love to share with you.”

Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety. We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups. Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush, so you may feel like you are the only ones there. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

By night, sit by the firepit and gaze up at the stars while listening to the sounds of nature on the fig tree swinging chair. The outdoor bathtub is available for hire for the evening with prior notice, and will come with beautiful dried flowers, natural bath salts charged at $60 per use. We recommend our guests bring swimmers for the bath. During your stay you will have access to our outdoor shower and composting toilet with a view. These facilities are shared by 1 other person or if another camper stays, and we kindly request that our guests are mindful of water consumption as we are on tank water. Connection of power and water is an option for extra. Our campsites are also dog friendly as we love having your fur babies visit! However if you are bringing your furry companions with you, please ensure they are friendly with other dogs, kept on a lead and supervised at all times, as our baby chickens and miniature pigs like to explore during the day along with my dog who will constantly want to be around. Ready to explore outside the Farm? We’re just a short drive to Eumundi, Pomona or Cooroy for cute shops and markets, or venture 25 minutes to Noosa for a day at the beach and a variety of quality restaurants. I live onsite in another area of the property, but will be available for any questions or help. We welcome small groups and their pets and cater to couples and small groups looking for a secluded weekend away. There is a two-night minimum. A 4WD VEHICLE IS NEEDED JUST TO GET ONTO THE PROPERTY. THERE IS NOWHERE TO PARK VEHICLES THAT CAN NOT REACH THE SITES. Please take the track descriptions seriously. We're not embellishing just to discourage inexperienced 4WDers. These are NO JOKE. Gumtree Summit and The Gun Range are up a steep and rocky track that requires technical driving skills and a very capable vehicle. These sites are very difficult to access! In wet weather, you will need to spend a bit of time winching. You need to know what you are doing. When booking, ensure you read each site description thoroughly before requesting a booking. Fuzzy miniature galloway cattle freely roam the property here. If you are not camping at the Summit sites, where they don't tend to go, you may see us driving around in our Jeep, giving them lots of treats and cuddles. Other than that, our hope is that you don't see anyone but the local wildlife.

Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety. We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups. Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush, so you may feel like you are the only ones there. Campfires in the provided fire pit or drum only. Due to the unique surroundings we offer, we do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety. You are most welcome to use your own off the ground firepit anywhere in your site. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

The outdoor bathtub is available for hire for the evening with prior notice, and will come with beautiful dried flowers, natural bath salts charged at $60 per use. We recommend our guests bring swimmers for the bath. During your stay you will have access to our outdoor shower and composting toilet with a view. These facilities are shared by 1 other person or if another camper stays, and we kindly request that our guests are mindful of water consumption as we are on tank water. Connection of power and water is an option for extra. Our campsites are also dog friendly as we love having your fur babies visit! Gumtree Summit and The Gun Range are up a steep and rocky track that requires technical driving skills and a very capable vehicle. These sites are very difficult to access! In wet weather, you will need to spend a bit of time winching. You need to know what you are doing. When booking, ensure you read each site description thoroughly before requesting a booking. Fuzzy miniature galloway cattle freely roam the property here. If you are not camping at the Summit sites, where they don't tend to go, you may see us driving around in our Jeep, giving them lots of treats and cuddles. Nestled alongside the waters of Curra Creek, Macallon Farm is located just outside of Gympie, its a 40 acre property which hosts the farm stay experience with a difference. We offer private camp sites, beautiful hilltop views or more creek sites. Plenty of options and levels of Privacy if that's what you require. We offer Glamping in Bell Tents, a comfortable bed may be your style, or bring your own camp setup and enjoy the beautiful location your own way. Our camp sites are nice and flat. Take a guided tour to meet and get up close to some of the unique friendly farm animals. We have Alpacas, Llamas, Camels and Donkeys just to name a few. We have a working farm full of animals to enjoy, for the kids to pat and interact with. Jump aboard the 4pm little train to feed the animals. Relaxing by the creek, or take in the great views from the top of the hill, each site has many things to offer. This will be the holiday the kids will want to come back to. Just 17km to the nearest supermarkets, 11 km to fuel and bottleshop for last minute supplies. Amenities include: Flushing Portable toilets just a short walk from your camp. Hot shower in the Outdoor Bush Shower. Attractions close by. * Gympie's Historical Steam train " The Mary Valley Rattler" does trips on Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays. * Historical Theebine Hotel is just 22km away and has cold beer and great meals. * Dickabram Bridge is 25km away. It is the oldest remaining large steel truss bridge constructed in Queensland. Or just take a quiet stroll observing the sights and sounds of the natural wildlife. I purchased the farm in 2015 with my children to build a dream, a lifestyle I'm passionate about, one I could share with my family. I was raised on the land and respect and follow sustainable farming practices here on Macallon Farm.

Welcome to GG's Ranch & Retreat Camping area, a unique farm escape on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Is is the perfect place to base yourself and explore all the beauty that the Sunshine Coast Hinterland has to offer. We currently only offer one campsite so you will have plenty of space and privacy during your stay. There is a number of walking tracks on the property and a large billabong where you can enjoy swimming and other water activities. There are Geese who often visit the property who you are welcome to greet and feed. We also have an abundance of bird and wildlife who visit the property and have even been lucky enough to spot a Platypus in the billabong. Our property is home to a number of Horses and we offer Horse based activities for an additional cost (see our extras) so you can meet them and learn some basic horse riding skills. We are just 15 minutes from the popular Eumundi Markets and 30 minutes to Noosa main beach.  The site has power and water for your use but you are required to supply your own camping toilet (Please note if you arrive without a toilet you will be asked to leave) and remove all rubbish waste on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under owners control at all times. Campfires are allowed in the fire pit provided and firewood is available at a small additional cost. Please keep your site clean and tidy and respect the natural environment and animals at all times.

What a magic spot "Hidden gem"was. Great creek views , Shaddy and cool in the heat of the day, down a little path have a dip in the creek to cool down. Loved camping at the ‘Stones throw’ site at Yabba creek! It had great access to the water for swimming and the creek was a lovely peaceful place to go out kayaking (kayaks provided). The whole property was beautiful and we loved how private our site was from the rest of the farm. Lovely place for the dog to run around and Kaylea and dean were very friendly and checked in on us after storms, they also made sure to let us know about all the walking paths and facilities around which was very helpful. No bins or showers but the site had a hose and the town just five mins up the road had plenty of skip bins available.

I absolutely loved my stay at Yabba Creek farm! I was at the Stone's throw site - very close easy access to the creek and we'll spaced out from other sites. So great that they provide a firepit and kayaks to use - it's a stunning place to paddle! Kaylea and Dean could not have been more helpful and welcoming - a really lovely couple who have done a fantastic job creating a beautiful place for camping. I hope to come back again!!

We enjoyed a fabulous weekend by the lake. Didn't see the local platypus family but the abundance of birdlife and endless tranquility made this campsite worth the effort to get there. An unexpected 6am storm on the last day put the camper trailer through its paces but it survived well. Laying in bed watching and listening to the storm rollover the lake was awesome. We loved it and the hosts were wonderful. Thanks Neil and Joss!!

Absolutely incredible campsite! I wish we had been able to stay for longer, but so glad that we managed to get a couple of nights. Campsite is spotless, pitches are really large and the top 2 in particular have great views over the hills and down to the river. We had the site all to ourselves for the two nights we were there so it was really peaceful. Fire pit was great, and so were the kayaks for a peaceful paddle down the river after a day at the markets. Thank you so much!

We had a great camp setup at Pilgrims Rest! They aren’t kidding when they say 4x4 only. It was our first experience towing our van in these conditions: steep, rocky and creek crossings. (We nailed it). Got in and out of camp no issues even though it was a little tight. Excellent creek for the kids to explore right in eye sight of camp. A few cars came by but nothing that was disturbing. Had some visitors (cows and horses). Quiet and remote. No phone service. Star-link worked until the weather kicked off. We had a deluge in the afternoon and overnight. Anita came down in the morning to check the creek crossings on our departure day. Advised us to head off as soon as possible due to the possibility of being flooded in. Great hosts. Good communication and excellent directions given. If we are in the area again we would visit again.

Such an amazing place. From the granite rocks, rock pools, flowing river, and the orchids, Di’s property is simply stunning! My partner and I stayed at the property for our anniversary, and it rained all weekend; however, the property was so lovely with dense bush land, it brought out all the wildlife and bird life. Di was a wonderful host and a great wealth of bush knowledge!
