Welcome to GG's Ranch & Retreat Camping area, a unique farm escape on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Is is the perfect place to base yourself and explore all the beauty that the Sunshine Coast Hinterland has to offer. We currently only offer one campsite so you will have plenty of space and privacy during your stay. There is a number of walking tracks on the property and a large billabong where you can enjoy swimming and other water activities. The site has power and water for your use but you are required to supply your own camping toilet (Please note if you arrive without a toilet you will be asked to leave) and remove all rubbish waste on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under owners control at all times. Campfires are allowed in the fire pit provided and firewood is available at a small additional cost. Please keep your site clean and tidy and respect the natural environment and animals at all times.

Our family had such a wonderful weekend away at Anita’s beautiful property. It was so peaceful, we explored the area on foot, along the creek and also in our 4WD up to a lookout high on the ridge. The horses visited us at our cabin several times, which was a highlight. The cabin was so private we felt like we had the property to ourselves. Definitely need a 4WD! And the drive to Anita’s property is so beautiful too.

We loved staying at Shanlyn farm for a quiet and peaceful off grid hideaway. This was our second stay but the first at “Little Soho” which was a well appointed and comfortable vintage caravan with a deck, a view and an adjoining ensuite off the deck. The birdsong and general ambience was so calming and Lynne’s hospitality and generosity was wonderful! Including her homemade apple pie, fresh farm eggs and chutney, and the ever present sensitive touches that she sprinkles around the property. We got to pet and feed the donkeys, horses and cows and learn about her eco imprint in this world. Highly recommend you stay here, be it in a dome or caravan. Recommend you book a reiki treatment or meditate at the dromedan , or do yoga at sunrise on the Sataya deck or just walk and enjoy the property. Everything is authentically and sustainably operating for the greater good of the environment and the animals and gardens under Lynne’s gentle care. You won’t be disappointed and we will be back!!

Honestly the nicest cabin we have ever stayed in. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable and cosy. Plenty of open space outside and great big firepit which we enjoyed. Cleanest composting toilet i have seen so far, can't say I'm much of a fan of them due to bad experiences but this one was very clean and well maintained. The property is beautiful and we had a great time exploring and hiking up to the Ridge, what a view! We had such a wonderful trip and will definitely be back again and again.

I flew from Sydney to spend time with my brother and dad as they both love on the Sunshine Coast. We had booked another place prior and it got cancelled on us the day before as they had doubled booked. My brother and I frantically looked online trying to find a place, when we came across this one. It was even better than what we had originally booked! The place was so beautiful and beyond what we imagined. On arrival Anthony, Cass and Winnie (they're cute dog) greeted us and showed us around. They were all so friendly and made us feel at home straight away. The adjoining cottages were perfect, the land was lush and green with many trees and the lake was full of wonderful birdlife. At night we all sat by the fire, eating dinner and listening to my dad's favourite songs. In the day we went on adventures and came home to relax in the wonderful cottages. Sitting on the veranda with a cuppa and taking in the misty mornings was a great way to start the day too. Thanks for having us, we definitely made some great memories that will be cherished forever!

What a gem of a spot for a couples weekend away! The bed was super comfortable, and I slept like a dream. The cabin was a good distance from any other homes, which made it feel like our own peaceful retreat. The birdwatching was a real highlight, with water birds gathering at the billabong and amazing black cockatoos flying overhead in the afternoons. Such a special place to reconnect with nature and each other. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and soak up the serenity!

Awesome 2 night stay with the kids while visiting Aussie World and Australia Zoo. It was like a home away from home. The kids loved the playground. Just wish it had of been Summer so we could have used the pool. Will definitely be back the next time we visit the Sunshine Coast.
