We have a beautiful hobby farm on 2 and a half acres. Camping is at the front of the property where you will find vegie gardens and fruit trees. There is also a fire pit (plenty of firewood available), a trampoline and a games shed with toilet, shower and kitchenette facilities. You can purchase free range eggs in half dozen and full dozen when available, and drinks. Please ask on check-in. 200m to boat ramp with river perfect for water skiing, jet skiing, tubing and freshwater fishing (licence required as this is a stocked impoundment). On opposite side of river is Sandy Hook Boat Club where major water skiing and power boat races are held throughout the year. Located between Bundaberg and Gin Gin. Bundaberg has attractions such as the Bundy Rum Distillery, Ginger Beer Factory, a free zoo, Mon Repos Turtle Centre, lower Great Barrier Reef cruises to Lady Musgrave Island for snorkelling, great beaches some with 4WD access. Gin Gin is on the main highway to head north or south. Easy access from here to National Parks for walks and 4WDing. Being a hobby farm we have sheep which get fed every afternoon between 4 and 5. There are also chickens that free range around the campsite. Swimming pool available on request and children MUST be supervised.

Just 30 minutes from Woodgate Beach and an hour from Bargara and Hervey Bay beaches, our serene retreat is the perfect escape. Located only a 5-minute drive from Cordalba State Forest, you’ll have easy access to scenic walks, mountain bike trails, and horse riding adventures. There are also bush tracks leading out from the property Bundaberg is an easy 30 minute drive and Childers 15 minutes. Experience the charm of our countryside with supervised visits with our horses and Highland cows. Join us around 4:30 pm for the afternoon feed and grooming session. Relax and enjoy a meal at the BBQ area, which overlooks the horse arena. If you bring your horse, for an additional fee, you can explore our arena featuring dressage letters, obstacles, drums, and jumps, or test your skills in a dedicated area with permanent obstacles. For your convenience, our well-equipped camp kitchen includes a fridge, toaster, kettle, electric frypan, and microwave, along with all the necessary cutlery and crockery. Please remember to clean up after using the kitchen to keep it welcoming for everyone. In the kitchen area you will also find a pool table and dart board and arcade game for your use. If you choose to bring your horse you will find stabling or yards under Extras as begin your booking. The cost can be seen as you view the sites. The stables are rubber floored, meaning you use minimal sawdust therefore minimal dust. They are equipped with automatic waterers and feed bins. The yards are separated so that the horses can't reach each other from one yard to the other. Please ensure these areas are cleaned before you leave. There are rakes and wheelbarrows provided near the arena and at the end of the stables for your convenience. Our sites are best suited to self contained camping but there is shower and toilet availability on the property. There is a dump site situated in Crescent St Childers Enjoy your stay and the beautiful surroundings!

Shared bathroom facilities available nearby. You are welcome to use the BBQ facilities located within the caravan park as well. We have a nearby billabong which has plenty of fish and turtles. Enjoy a meal at the nearby Gundy Pub or explore the surrounding area. Bauple Mountain is 5km away which is a great spot for walking and hiking. Mary River is down the road 4km and a great spot for fishing. The national trail runs along the river and is a great spot for walks or bike rides. We have a number of horse riding camps in the nearby area as well.We have fire drums available and well behaved pets are welcome. Mango Lodge is a totally wheelchair accessible timber cabin which has an outdoor bath. 24 hour security access to your own private campsite. Free wifi, hot showers, flushing toilets, fully equipped bush kitchen and laundry. We have a designated area for dog lovers called Dogs Corner. There is a lovely paddock for the dogs to take in the country atmosphere and located right next to the 40 acre nature reserve with 4kms of walking trails, what better way to Escape, Relax and Unwind. 69 species of birds have been identified on the property to date. We also provide dog minding services! Photo updates supplied. Cost is $50 per day (add to your booking). All you need to do is supply your dog bed and food. Recently our guests enjoyed a trip to Fraser Island and were very impressed with the service provided. So if you love your fur baby and you still want to have a holiday experience, just come and stay here and we can enhance your stay by giving your fur babies a holiday too.

Easily accessible property with flat areas for camping and or caravans. Front of block is well grassed with some shade. You walk down through some dry rainforest towards the back of the block which fronts onto Coonarr Creek. There is a small fire pit and also a large one which can be used when it’s the right conditions I.e not too windy and or dry. There is a toilet, shower and camp kitchen if necessary. The block is located very close to the boat ramp where you can launch canoes, kayaks,sup’s and small tinnies. The block is also a 5 minute drive to beautiful Coonarr Beach, which is suitable for swimming and fishing. Coonarr Creek is also suitable for fishing either off the bank or from a craft. Kangaroos are some of the resident wildlife and are often seen around the property and adjacent areas. Located approximately 20 minutes from Bundaberg city and all other attractions in the area. Recommended to bring personal insect repellent and or coils etc.
