You may be moved to a different site if your chosen site is too wet. We use Good Riddance products for the midges & mozzies during summer because it works, its non toxic + deet free. We have dry firewood (hardwood) available on the verandah for $15/15kg crate. There are plenty of sites to choose from.

In the kitchen area you will also find a pool table and dart board and arcade game for your use.
If you choose to bring your horse you will find stabling or yards under Extras as begin your booking. The cost can be seen as you view the sites. The stables are rubber floored, meaning you use minimal sawdust therefore minimal dust. They are equipped with automatic waterers and feed bins. The yards are separated so that the horses can't reach each other from one yard to the other. Please ensure these areas are cleaned before you leave. There are rakes and wheelbarrows provided near the arena and at the end of the stables for your convenience.

We have a beautiful hobby farm on 2 and a half acres. Camping is at the front of the property where you will find vegie gardens and fruit trees. There is also a fire pit (plenty of firewood available), a trampoline and a games shed with toilet, shower and kitchenette facilities. Yes we live on the property and the campsite is in the front yard, however we do not infringe on your space at your campsite or the amenities area - these are yours and yours only whilst camping here. Our beautiful unfiltered rainwater is available for use during your stay, however there is no direct water connection to sites and all campsites are unpowered. Bundaberg has attractions such as the Bundy Rum Distillery, Ginger Beer Factory, a free zoo, Mon Repos Turtle Centre, lower Great Barrier Reef cruises to Lady Musgrave Island for snorkelling, great beaches some with 4WD access. Gin Gin is on the main highway to head north or south. Easy access from here to National Parks for walks and 4WDing.
Being a hobby farm we have livestock in a paddock in the backyard. If you would like to join us for feeding in the afternoons please ask on arrival. Feeding happens between 4 and 6pm depending on time of year. We also have chickens that free range around the campsite at the front of the property who will happily take any of your scraps.

We had a wonderful stay with Sarah, a beautiful spot next to the river. Plenty of grassed area to put up the camper trailer. Close to local attractions made day trips easy. The toilet and hot shower was definitely an added bonus. Our only comment is that we where not allowed to use our grass mat.

This is an absolute gem of a campground. The host - Sarah - is so helpful and friendly. The campground itself is beautiful. Lots of gorgeous grass and plenty of space. It is so tranquil next to the river. The toilets and shower were immaculate with really cute little signs. Butlic the frog made me giggle every time I went to the loo! IYKYK. I managed some beautiful runs around the area too, if you’re into that sort of thing! I would highly recommend this as a base camp to explore the Bundaberg region.

We absolutely loved this place. It's like a small safari where horses, Camels, Donkeys & Cows, and cows all wander around the property. Absolutely amazing experience, that is something you don't get anywhere else.

Really great camp spot!
The showers and toilets were very well maintained and super clean!
The camp spot was so great and Sarah was very accomodating with letting us choose our own spot to camp.
Keep in mind the cicadas can be super loud in the morning and evenings on the unpowered spots at the river.
Great spot to chill, have a fish and a beer! We highly recommend this hipcamp spot.

What an amazing little stay over this was Bucca was like a yoga retreat on the river. Lovely little hotel and pub just down the road as well. We’ll definitely recommend staying here showers and toilets very refreshing.
