Good for bird watchers and those who like to get outdoors and do some hiking or moutain climbing . How to get to us? We have two ways in . Option 1: Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks . we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre. Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended. Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. By night, sit by the firepit and gaze up at the stars while listening to the sounds of nature on the fig tree swinging chair. The outdoor bathtub is available for hire for the evening with prior notice, and will come with beautiful dried flowers, natural bath salts charged at $60 per use. We recommend our guests bring swimmers for the bath. During your stay you will have access to our outdoor shower and composting toilet with a view. These facilities are shared by 1 other person or if another camper stays, and we kindly request that our guests are mindful of water consumption as we are on tank water. Connection of power and water is an option for extra. Our campsites are also dog friendly as we love having your fur babies visit! However if you are bringing your furry companions with you, please ensure they are friendly with other dogs, kept on a lead and supervised at all times, as our baby chickens and miniature pigs like to explore during the day along with my dog who will constantly want to be around. Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Fresh farm eggs can be bought if available at the time. This farm has been used as a working farm for around 40 years. This area is where the government planned a dam so generally we have water in the creeks. Most of the camp sites border the creek and all are designed to take caravans. The house was the original Amamoor Head Ranger, Forestry division, home which was cut in two and relocated from town up to the top of our hill. From here during the bush fire season you can see fires from Widgee, Kilcoy or the Sunshine Coast. We run on solar and rain water for everything in the house and creek or dam water for our orchards and gardens. We run a variety of animals and several small orchards as well. Our creek runs into another near this causeway which leads to lots of water in a short time where it sounds like you are living on a beach. Always check with us beforehand if there has been heavy rain and there are several creeks in this area which leads to a rapid build up of water in a short time over many of the causeways out here. When there is water around, the creek will have lots of little fish and a large variety of frogs, some very weird looking ones to study. While there are many animals on the farm, there are also wild animals who use it as their home and refuge so your pets must be kept safe with you at night. Swimming pool on the farm can be used if requested through booking.

As we are on tank rainwater, we request that guests conserve water usage. Compost toilet is accessible up a few stairs. There is a laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. There is wildlife around like kangaroos, wallabies, echidna and many bird species so no pets are permitted on the property. Fires are permitted in the designated Firepit provided. This has been a highlight for guests so far. Bring your own firewood or buy along the road nearby. Guests are asked to respect the quiet environment. Gidgee’s Bush Camp is just on the edge of Morven SW Queensland, 100 km East of Charleville. We are just over 1 km from the Morven post office. Check in 12 noon We operate a small sheep, cattle and goat property along with a camping, coffee and pvc bag manufacturing business. Mick also manages the Morven Rail hub which is a cattle spelling, weighing and trucking terminal. The landscaped campground is set in 60 acres, of open downs country. We are focused on attracting bird life an have identified 90 species. You can stay hooked up on the majority of the sites and they are pull through or reverse parking depending on here you choose to camp. The hub of the campground is WILMAVALE hut, which is complete with a byo bar, entertainment lawn, fire pits and events pavilion. You can watch footy on a Friday night or sit around the wood stove and enjoy the atmosphere of the hut which has been replicated from a house build and lived in by Kylee’s grandparents that was originally built in 1860. There are toilets and showers. Showers require $1 coins for hot water. We also have a coin operated washing machine. We have hot tubs that can be booked and on arrival at an additional cost. By night, sit by the firepit and gaze up at the stars while listening to the sounds of nature on the fig tree swinging chair. The outdoor bathtub is available for hire for the evening with prior notice, and will come with beautiful dried flowers, natural bath salts charged at $60 per use. We recommend our guests bring swimmers for the bath. During your stay you will have access to our outdoor shower and composting toilet with a view. These facilities are shared by 1 other person or if another camper stays, and we kindly request that our guests are mindful of water consumption as we are on tank water. Connection of power and water is an option for extra. Our campsites are also dog friendly as we love having your fur babies visit! Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Fresh farm eggs can be bought if available at the time. This farm has been used as a working farm for around 40 years. This area is where the government planned a dam so generally we have water in the creeks. Most of the camp sites border the creek and all are designed to take caravans. The house was the original Amamoor Head Ranger, Forestry division, home which was cut in two and relocated from town up to the top of our hill. From here during the bush fire season you can see fires from Widgee, Kilcoy or the Sunshine Coast. We run on solar and rain water for everything in the house and creek or dam water for our orchards and gardens. We run a variety of animals and several small orchards as well. Our creek runs into another near this causeway which leads to lots of water in a short time where it sounds like you are living on a beach. Always check with us beforehand if there has been heavy rain and there are several creeks in this area which leads to a rapid build up of water in a short time over many of the causeways out here. When there is water around, the creek will have lots of little fish and a large variety of frogs, some very weird looking ones to study. While there are many animals on the farm, there are also wild animals who use it as their home and refuge so your pets must be kept safe with you at night. Swimming pool on the farm can be used if requested through booking.

Facilities include equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, gas stove/oven, benchtop convection oven, kettle, toaster and all cooking utensils as well as plates, cutlery, glasses, etc. Bathroom with hot shower and a bathtub for parents with children. As we are on tank rainwater, we request that guests conserve water usage. Compost toilet is accessible up a few stairs. There is a laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. There is wildlife around like kangaroos, wallabies, echidna and many bird species so no pets are permitted on the property. Fires are permitted in the designated Firepit provided. This has been a highlight for guests so far. Bring your own firewood or buy along the road nearby. Guests are asked to respect the quiet environment. We’d appreciate no loud music or voices from 10pm to 7am. There is a neighbouring property behind the shed and our bedroom is within range! When you book you are booking the entire camp facility. You can stay hooked up on the majority of the sites and they are pull through or reverse parking depending on here you choose to camp. The hub of the campground is WILMAVALE hut, which is complete with a byo bar, entertainment lawn, fire pits and events pavilion. You can watch footy on a Friday night or sit around the wood stove and enjoy the atmosphere of the hut which has been replicated from a house build and lived in by Kylee’s grandparents that was originally built in 1860. There are toilets and showers. Showers require $1 coins for hot water. We also have a coin operated washing machine. We have hot tubs that can be booked and on arrival at an additional cost. I think this is the perfect camping spot, either for a romantic getaway with your partner or for a solo camping trip. I can’t think of a better place to have a beautiful, romantic picnic while watching the sunset. The views are stunning, it’s an easy drive to get there, the host, Tommy, is really welcoming, and it’s nice to meet the person behind such a beautiful project. Trees, goats, cows, birds, an outdoor bath, a romantic picnic, a beautiful sunset, loo/shower with a view, stargazing. It has everything!! I had an extremely joyful and peaceful experience.

I really loved staying at the shearing shed. It was great to meet David and have a chat before I set up; the shed had heaps of things to look at talking about what they do there as a working sheep holding. I found it really interesting and loved the fact it’s a working shed so staying there is a bit like being a fly on the wall.. getting a sneak peek into how a sheep station works. The opportunity to have a hot artesian water bath and watch the sunset was sublime. I really hope to visit here again. I highly recommend this camp spot.

Penthouse with an outhouse was a beautiful spot with an absolutely stunning view. My partner loves cows so to see them up close as soon as we got to our site she was in love instantly. Great spot for a couples getaway weekend and camp spots are far apart so it feels like you have the place to yourself. Cameron was a great host had the pleasure of meeting him upon entering the site and was very informative and courteous. Had a look at the different sites and they are more then accommodating for large groups aswell. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back again. Thanks again Cameron for allowing us to stay at your amazing property.

Maria and Neil are truly extraordinary human beings — warm, welcoming, and incredibly considerate. The kitchen, bathroom, and toilet are immaculately clean. We’ve used compostable toilets many times before, but this is the only place we’ve experienced where it was completely odour-free and spotless! The site itself is spacious and wonderfully quiet, surrounded by trees. The natural white noise of cicadas making the whole stay relaxing and peaceful. 25 mins drive to Noosa, yet feels like a world away. We wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

We had such a wonderful stay at Gums. The site was private, peaceful, and a really decent size, giving us plenty of space to relax without feeling crowded. The property is clearly very well looked after, and the added gazebo with chairs and tables was such a bonus, perfect for meals, shade, and winding down in the afternoons. It’s a beautiful escape so close to Brisbane, yet it feels like you’re a world away. We’ll definitely be back!

I had an amazing stay at this campground. The grounds were absolutely immaculate, and host Ben was incredibly accommodating and genuinely lovely to chat with. The spa bath was a standout feature for me, and the friendly animals made the stay even better—we were even able to give the pigs a pat inside their pen! There was plenty of space at our site, heaps of yabbys in the dam, and the facilities were spotless and well lit at night. Everything was tidy and well looked after. Truly a fantastic place to stay!

There is no traffic, no one camping beside you, no other than the bird sweet sounds of the forest and all of nature that surrounds you. When you book Tent in The Forest, you are booking the entire camp ground. It is yours to enjoy, explore, entertain, relax, unwind, or catch up on some rest. Tent in The Forest is fully self contained campsite. All linen, bedding, gas top cooker, fridge, and kitchen utensils are here for you to use. There are hammocks, camp chairs, tables, and a dining suite all for you to enjoy. We provide organic toiletries including certified organic soap, hand sanitizer, and toilet paper. Tent in The Forest is an eco friendly camp ground. We use solar power for our 12v systems, gravity fed water, and toilet waste is managed using a drop toilet which is then composted. If you are unfamiliar and want to know more about our off grid power, water, and waste systems please contact us. Outside of Tent in The Forest the beautiful township of Kin Kin awaits you. At the Black Ant Cafe, you will find Jodie Williams and her team make mouth watering food and drinks throughout the day and on Friday nights. Enjoy breakfast daily, grab a bite for lunch, or zero in on there Friday night pizza night, popular with locals and visitors. The Black Ant Cafe also is your one stop shop for essential supplies such as milk, bread, coffee, etc. The beaches of Noosa, including the national parks which surround them can be reached within the hour. Rainbow Beach, Lake Cootharabah, The Everglades, and lots more places to see and do are all within a short drive. There are just too many great places to list here. We can guide you once you arrive.

Welcome to Kaiteri, a tropical outback farm 30 km from the historic coastal town of Cooktown. Get a personalised experience with your hosts only take one booking at a time and have a lovely spot down by the creek for campers! The site suits tent campers only (no caravans or trailers), and you need 4WD access to take the track that leads to the creek. The farm has cattle, pet pigs, chickens, horses and dogs. A well behaved medium size dog or a couple of tiny dogs are welcome. Definitely no cats unless kept in a locked area. We have a picnic table and rubbish/recycling facilities but you will need to be self-contained with your own camping toilet and shower. Campfires are allowed (subject to firebans). The small community of Hopevale is just up the road with access to the famous Coloured Sands. Endeavour Valley Road is the gateway access to the rest of the Cape. There is also a beautiful secret waterfall and picnic spot within walking distance of the farm. Camp in an open field or find a spot in the rainforest. Fresh water is available at the farm hut 70 metres away.

Pegasus Horse Park is set on 33 acres. The rural views from this elevated position on the side of Mount Barmoya are exceptional. Guests love the sunset views from the deck. We encourage guests to walk down the lane, feed the horses, and generally relax and take it all in. The Capricorn Coast is on your doorstep, offering great beaches, fine dining, pubs and clubs, the best swimming lagoon in Queensland, and much more. Guests stay in what we call the Shouse, a fully lined, self-contained unit. It has its own front and back patios, a large yard for parking, and lovely gardens that attract beautiful birds. The house features an induction cooktop on an island bench, a full-size fridge, flat-screen TV, air conditioning, an induction microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, a very comfortable queen bed, and an outdoor spa (currently out of order due to a heater failure). Guests can walk the lane and enjoy sitting around the fire pit, the sunset bar, and the spa (please note the spa is currently out of order due to a heater failure). Guests with pets are most welcome. A dog pen is available for use as needed. We ask that guests with inside pets clean up daily and vacuum prior to departure.
