It is a dog friendly property. The story of Clover Hill Ranch- In 2019 our livestock enterprise was struggling with the ongoing drought. Water was getting very low and we were buying hay from Victoria. One day while checking stock on our grazing property Bradys (adjacent to Clover Hill Ranch) we looked across the near dry creek and said to each other - if we are going to endure this drought we need to do something different. So we were able to acquire Clover Hill Ranch which was then being run by the CMCA under a lease agreement to the then owners. Then Covid struck and the CMCA left Clover Hill Ranch. So we took it on ourselves and it has been a journey managing our four farming blocks Riverleigh; Coleridge; The Shanti and Bradys as well as Clover Hill Ranch. Fast forward and it is now April 2021 we absolutely love it; enjoy chatting with Campers about our story and we have even organised a Farm Tour route through all of our properties. The feedback has been amazing. We are continuously doing improvements to Clover Hill Ranch with many new Powered Sites with town water and new campsites right on the creek. And everyone loves it when we bring out our trailer mounted meat smoker to put on a smoked Wagyu feast! Campers can purchase our Wagyu and Grassfed Angus beef to try while camping and can even buy some to take home. Set on 35 acres on the banks of Charley Creek, it has a beautiful bush land setting adjacent to the creek. A truly tranquil experience. Recently rebranded the name to Charleys Creek Campgrounds as it is more fitting, as there is no clover, not much of a hill, and not in America (Ranch). This will also tie in with our other entities - Charleys Creek Beef and Charleys Creek Brewing. We have a number of projects on the go and planned for the Charleys Creek entities to make every stay a unique and authentic experience. "Not just a campgrounds, its the experience". You are welcome to visit us, get to know us, and be part of our journey. This campground offers toilets, showers, access to potable water, and power hook ups. Open fire pits, and fire wood available. It is a dog friendly property. The story of Clover Hill Ranch- In 2019 our livestock enterprise was struggling with the ongoing drought. Water was getting very low and we were buying hay from Victoria. One day while checking stock on our grazing property Bradys (adjacent to Clover Hill Ranch) we looked across the near dry creek and said to each other - if we are going to endure this drought we need to do something different. So we were able to acquire Clover Hill Ranch which was then being run by the CMCA under a lease agreement to the then owners. Then Covid struck and the CMCA left Clover Hill Ranch. So we took it on ourselves and it has been a journey managing our four farming blocks Riverleigh; Coleridge; The Shanti and Bradys as well as Clover Hill Ranch. Fast forward and it is now April 2021 we absolutely love it; enjoy chatting with Campers about our story and we have even organised a Farm Tour route through all of our properties. The feedback has been amazing. We are continuously doing improvements to Clover Hill Ranch with many new Powered Sites with town water and new campsites right on the creek. And everyone loves it when we bring out our trailer mounted meat smoker to put on a smoked Wagyu feast! Campers can purchase our Wagyu and Grassfed Angus beef to try while camping and can even buy some to take home. Activities available at Charleys Creek Campgrounds, Chinchilla: include camping; fishing; kayaking; motorbike riding; bird watching and bush walking. There is accessibility for RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs. Pull through bays available. Camping in tents is allowed. It is walking distance to Chinchilla town centre and Lions playground. Farm tours available upon request. Bookings preferable in advance to avoid disappointment.

Beautiful little cabin tucked away amongst the trees, fully set up so you don’t need to leave. Kathryn and Phillip were so accomodating and really made the stay as easy and pleasant as possible. They made fresh bread for arrival and brought up water, ice and firewood when we ran low free of charge! They have built a beautiful fairy garden and look out point at the back which was lovely for a walk through. They really have put in a big effort with it! Outdoor bath was super lovely too by the fire. Highly recommend the property for all the amenities and what it offers and for how lovely Kathryn and Phillip are!

We recently stayed at this incredible Platypus Bush camp by the creek, and it was an unforgettable experience. The tree houses are absolutely magical—nestled in the trees with just the right mix of comfort and rustic charm. Ours had a spacious king bed that made it feel more like a boutique retreat than a campsite. The creek itself is the real highlight. The camp spots sit right along the water, giving you peaceful views and the calming sound of running water all day and night. Whether you're relaxing in a chair by the creek or waking up to the soft morning light filtering through the trees, the whole place feels serene and refreshing. Everything is well maintained, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort. Highly recommend—this is one of those hidden gems you’ll want to visit again and again!

You NEED to experience this place. What a most magical weekend away we had. The outdoor claw foot bath was AMAZING, it was so lovely to soak your stress away while watching the breeze in the trees! Kathryn & Phil have thought of everything you could possible imagine! The attention to detail and all the creature comforts are second to none. We enjoyed drinks by the fire at night and what a pleasure it was to have a beautiful hot shower off grid! The fairy garden is something to be experienced, so much love has gone into this magical space. Sitting having a drink at Lovers Lane is a must do as well. The bed is super comfortable too. Honestly when they say they have everything, they mean it, just pack your clothes, drinks and food everything else (even freshly baked bread & firewood) will be there waiting for you. We will 100% be back, cant rave about this spot enough! Even the possum came to say hello! Do yourself a favour and book this now, you won't regret it for a second.

What a beautiful slice of paradise. This cottage is completely private and very quiet. If you are looking to get away from it all this is your place. The cottage has such charm and character and it was so lovely reading the story of the cottage history and all the environmental considerations both when building the cottage and ongoing. We had some lovely feathered and furry visitors which added to the charm and the provided bird seed for the cockatoos was a great touch. We had a very comfortable relaxing stay and will definately be back.

Kathryn and Phil are just delightful hosts We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, relaxing and also made sure our pooch was comfortable and happy as well. The space has everything you need. Games inside to keep entertained. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. Little touches like having the fire pit loaded with fire wood, to fresh baked bread, blankets, Cushions outside. Everything to make our stay easy and straight forward. The fairy garden is the sweetest thing ever, a child dream. Lots of pockets to sit and relax in nature. So much love has been poured into this little tiny home and its surrounds. We found it hard to leave we were so content and relaxed. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at dragonfly cottage. It has everything you could possibly need and the kitchen is very well appointed. The bathroom and outdoor toilet is very luxurious and we felt like it was a hotel standard of bathroom. It was a very hot weekend but luckily there was a fan in the cottage that ran off 12 V power so we managed to stay cool at night. Perfect for a couple, I think it might be a stretch with more than two adults. Glen was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely consider coming back.

Mystic Adventures is not just a cabin, it is a passionately thought out love child of 2 wonderful accomodating people. The cabin is equipped thoughtfully with everything you need and backs on to a carefully manicured and simply magical fairy garden. There are all of the benefits of camping from enjoying the stars to having possums come to check you out with all of the benefits of home, a fully and thoughtfully equipped kitchen, warm shower and all the linen and cushions you could imagine. The website cannot do this place the justice it deserves, it’s much bigger than it looks and Kathryn runs a coffee van as well if you need anything at all. They supplied freshly baked homemade bread and jam that was to die for and were more than responsive if we ever needed anything. Mystic adventures is more than a cabin, it is a cosy and comfortable home away from home and we will be back again and again and again. Thank you Phill & Kathryn we had the most wonderful time and I feel refreshed and revitalised. Kathryn, your hard work and love is evident in every corner of that cabin and garden. I can’t wait to see how it evolves.

What a beautiful, tranquil spot. The cabins are comfortable with gas hot water to the ensuite, two burner gas cooktop, solar lighting and a 240 volt outlet suitable for the supplied fan or charging phones and laptops. The firepit area is shady during the day and close to the creek. Lots of birdlife and we spotted possums, marsupial mice, platypus and wallabies. Host Jimmy is very helpful and welcoming and his directions are clear.
