'Weefarm' is situated on a picturesque bend of the Brisbane River near Fernvale and is accessible by 4WD only. Kids are free to 17 so if you have children between 12-17, please include them in the "children" booking.
We provide an exclusive booking for you on absolute river frontage for tents and camper trailers.
Spend your time swimming, fishing, canoeing or simply sipping a cold drink on the pontoon under the umbrella. With an easterly aspect you’ll want to spend the morning swimming or exploring the riverscape and when the afternoon shade sets in light the campfire and put your feet up.
Please note... our campsite has been ongoing since 2017 and campers have kindly shared their many happy memories. Over the years, things change. Please take the photos lightly.
There is no vehicular boat ramp but still excellent access for other small watercraft. Due to the steep track to the camp area we insist on 4WD’s only - though you can walk down if feeling energetic!
Please bring drinking water and a desire to leave the riverside just as you found it. We have enough room for around 20 people in tents or camper trailers.
Portaloo toilet available at the campsite.
Campfires are permitted in the circle but please be mindful of any restrictions. You can purchase firewood from us if needed.
Dogs are also welcome but must stay with you at all times. Please let us know they are coming as well.

Located 10 minutes outside Gatton, Gatton indoor arena and showgrounds, 30 minutes from Glen Rock National Park (horse riding friendly), 30 minutes from Spicers Hidden Vale Mountainbike trails, 30 minutes from Toowoomba and Ipswich our property is centrally located for any event here in the Lockyer Valley.
Two sites to choose from:
1. Fruit tree patch
Flat, accessible grassed area for an RV or Campers, located at the front of the property. This offers a safe space with a fire pit and access to safe outdoor dog pen to keep your dog safe during your stay. If you have children there is also an outdoor play fort, swings and slide to utilise.
2. The dam pitch
A tent pitch or 2 depending on party size down passed the horses paddocks next to the seasonal dam (summer months). Located at the back of the property.
The dam it accessible for swimming and a small fire pit can be made for your use. No fires permitted during a total fire ban period.
Dogs are welcome however must be up-to-date with vaccinations and be safe around horses and well socialised with other dogs as we do have our own on site.
Horses also welcome with prior notice and vaccinations up-to-date. An additional booking is needed. They are to be corralled in electric yards and all manure picked up after stay. (Muck heap accessible).

As a return visitor to Weefarm, it is nothing short of magical and highly inviting.
This time, my son and I returned with a number of a friends to enjoy a wonderful few days of relaxing, swimming, fishing and camping.
There was even an engagement amongst our friends to celebrate.
Huge thanks to Josh for stopping by and saying hi to the whole group.
To conclude - Weefarm is magical in everyway - I'll most certainly be back.

We decided at last minute to go camping for the weekend. This spot was only 50 mins away and looked lovely. When we arrived we turned into the wrong driveway which is how we met Bryce and his beautiful pooch. After some direction we found our very secluded spot just down the road. Site B. Not another soul around, just us and a beautiful flowing creek. The spot for our camper had been mowed and was flat. We enjoyed our first night here even though the rain came down pretty heavy. We sadly decided to head home early as soggy dogs are not fun. But we cannot wait to head back again in better weather and have a float around in the clear creek.

Absolutely the best hipcamp we've visited so far. The serenity and privacy is exactly what we look for. To camp, how we like to camp and not have to listen to 'neighbours' and their way of camping all day and night! We would love to visit again however it is extremely popular so know that might be a long way off. Thank you for sharing this beautiful peace of paradise with us all.

This was our second stay here and once again we had a great time. The site is peaceful, well spaced, and perfect for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature. Everything felt just as good as the first visit, which says a lot. It’s a place you can really relax and unwind. We enjoyed it so much that we’ll definitely be coming back again.

Silky oak flat is absolutely the best Hipcamp I’ve been to. It’s a large flat site with shade and right bedside the running creek where you can just sit on the rocks and let the water splash over you or swim in the deeper swimming holes the water is crystal clear and very refreshing, I loved to sit and watch the turtles swimming.
Bryce is very friendly and accommodating with the firewood. Can’t wait to get back there in the near future
