If you are looking to get away, put your feet up, switch off and recharge, then this is your perfect spot to enjoy the serenity of farm life with the added mountain views. We have potable bore water, electricity connection, picnic table and bench and firepit. We have three powered caravan sites that can also double up as tent sites. Ideally you should be self sufficient. Our bore has a solar pump that is rigged up to the water tank at the camp kitchen. Please turn the tap off once you have finished filling up your containers or caravan tanks. Bore water is potable, so can be used for cooking, cleaning, pets, etc. Any cooking implements and tools that you might need during your stay can be provided at request. Dogs are welcome. We only have ducks at the moment, but you are welcome to help us feed them. We are also providing special deals on yoga, tai chi, breath work and meditation classes and we have access to the creek in the summer. We have a beautiful forest across the road, which is perfect for walks, trekking or meditation. Please ensure that you are mindful of our neighbours, kindly refrain from loud noises between 9pm and 7am and clean up after yourselves and take your rubbish with you, as we don't have garbage collection at the property. There is a dump point in town, with garbage bins, for your convenience. Nanango has a lovely vibe. It's Queensland's oldest and friendliest town. There are great playgrounds, swimming pool and cart racing in town, which is only about 10 minutes away from the farm. Kingaroy is about half an hour away. Do not approach or hang over my fence looking in, and definitely do not enter my house yard, as I have guard dogs. Absolutely no drones! Absolutely No patting, encouraging and especially feeding horses. Do not approach horses in the paddock, do not walk or ride bicycles anywhere near the horses. I tell everyone this, but still people can’t help themselves to break these rules. It has taken me a long time to stop horses walking into camp and unfortunately one hipcamper undoes all of my efforts. The creek is my boundary so no crossing it, as this is trespassing into my neighbours property. There is no wifi or phone service. You are coming to an isolated tranquil property away from it for a reason. We’ve had done good rain over the past week and creek is flowing. Everything is green and lush. Deep Dime is a 400 acre cattle, fodder and irrigated grain farm. Our primary crop is Lucerne for hay. Creekside Camp (our main camping area) is relatively flat, well drained sites along a creek that usually runs. This area offers multiple composting toilets and wood powered hot water bush shower and outdoor bath. There is also a large permanent deep waterhole a short distance from this camping area. We have temporarily paused out Hill camp sites, due to continuing property maintenance and improvements. Nearby to Maidenwell’s Coomba Falls and a short drive to the Bunya Mountains with many kilometres of rainforest walks. Local pub, cafe and dump point are a short drive away in Maidenwell. Maidenwell pub does an amazing Pig on the Spit if you are there the last Saturday of the month and great Pizzas! The Maidenwell Trading Post general store/cafe has an awesome vintage Western Clothing & Boots room! We recommend taking a few carrots to tempt the ponies over for a pat. WHO WE SUIT Fully self-contained, 4wd and off-grid campers only. Caravans, camper trailers, tents - all welcome. You will need your own water, camp toilet and to take all rubbish with you - leave no trace. Dump points for toilet and rubbish are located in Maidenwell. You absolutely need a camp toilet to stay with us, we do not tolerate toilet paper being left in our paddocks where it's a safety risk to us and a choking hazard for our ponies, cattle/calves. Oh and you must love cattle, because you'll see them plenty!! We keep things as close to mother nature as possible, we're not a tourist/caravan park on purpose and that's why our guests choose us! It's back to basics at its finest. Camping here was how we first fell in love with the beauty of our property and the sole reason we opened the opportunity to share it with a handful of others. Private campsites - Only 3 campsites/groups on the entire property ensures a very private bush camping experience. All 3 sites are set well apart from each other. - Lower Valley View - Creekside 'The Glen' - The Hill Please read full descriptions of the 3 individual camp sites before booking as they all offer differing vehicle access requirements and views/settings. You'll also need to read directional messages as they come through post-booking as there is no on-farm signage or lighting by design. VEHICLE ACCESS All sites are 4WD and off-road caravan access only (not suitable for 'soft' 4wd's). Please do not book THE HILL campsite unless you are an experienced and competent offroad 4WDér, especially if you're towing a caravan. LOWER VALLEY VIEW requires the least amount of 4WD experience to access. CREEKSIDE also requires off-road experience to access if towing a caravan or camper. Please note our original hipcamp and only all-wheel-drive site, Main Camp, is now permanently unavailable due private use. FIRES Stone Fire pits are available on all sites. Please practice safe fire management (we are currently in a drought-declared area after significantly lower rainfall this year). Firewood can be pre-ordered with notice as an extra add-on via the hip-camp app (no BYO firewood due biosecurity risk). No bonfires or unattended fires. No burning of rubbish in firepits and fires must be completely out upon departure. During hot, dry weather (upcoming 26/27 Summer) we may enforce a fire ban on our property (often at short notice) if we deem necessary for the safety of our livestock, please check with us first if a fire is a non-negotiable for you. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE We offer an earlier check-in time than most so you can make the most of your stay. We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away. We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest. There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another 2 sites further down amongst the paddocks and bushland. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest. Enjoy the spring fed dam in the warmer months. 🏊‍♂️ There is plenty to explore in the area, including: 🏞 Crows Nest Falls National Park (good for a swim) 🐃 Bullocky's Rest and creekside walk in Crows Nest (dog friendly) ☕️ Lovely cafes in Crows Nest as well as boutique stores (Nolan's Block is very popular, on the highway). - Honey & Haze cafe (located nearby) - Crows Nest Soft Drinks (made on site) 🛍 An amazing Arts and Crafts store, with local hand made gifts (open every day) 📚 A quirky second-hand book store 🌳 Ravensbourne National Park (rainforest and views) 🏚 Crows Nest Museum 🎣 Cressbrook and Perseverance Dams 🚂 Muntapa Railway Tunnel towards Cooyar 👩‍🌾 Also markets in Crows Nest on the first Sunday of each month. Drive through camping sites for Caravans, Campers, RVs and tents are easily accessed by a short drive through the paddock, all year round. Weekend Trip to Maple Acres

Fantastic property and farm with very welcoming and lovely hosts Craig and Bec. Their property is just beautiful with a Orchard and lots of Macadamia trees where you can help yourself to as many nuts as you like. Great grass spot to camp up on with power and water if you need and free Wifi you have the whole area to yourself. Craig and Bec are very friendly and even gave us some fresh eggs for our breakfast a beautiful touch. Definitely worth a stay to enjoy their property we will be back. Willow our Labrador loved her stay too and the enclosed paddock to run around in and play ball. Thanks Craig and Bec.

We had a really nice time there. The site is private and cosy, host (Mel) provided all the necessary cutlery and kitchen essentials. The amenities were clean and well maintained. The fire pit was huge, and Mel kindly let us use the branches around the property to keep the fire going throughout the night. Thanks to the undercover area, we were also able to enjoy dinner despite the rain. Mel was very responsive, kind, and helpful. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we really enjoyed our time there.

What can I say! If you want plenty of space, privacy, a swimmable dam, cows, birdlife, peace and quiet - this is your place. Bec and Mark are excellent hosts. Bec came and greeted me when I was setting up, and introduced me to the animals - including an adorable 1.5 week old calf! If you're a bird lover, I spotted over a dozen different species. There are cows roaming the land that were quite curious and get pretty close, but they're also happy to let campers be. Up the hill and off to the right is the old railway walk which leads to Muntapa Tunnel (just follow the red ribbons). Honestly, I couldn't have wished for a better spot for a couple of days of camping. Thanks Bec and Mark!
