Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Campers are welcome to bring their dogs and/or horses! Campfires are permitted. Bring your chainsaw or axe you welcome to collect your own firewood. Fire barrels available Crystal clear flowing creek. Two dams stocked with cray fish and we welcome cray fishing as long as females with eggs returned to dam. There are some great bushwalks on the property that you can enjoy, you may even be lucky to find the rock overhangs, that provide shallow caves heaps of rock formation and grass trees. Property owners have a number of quiet rescue and farm animals onsite including friendly pigs that may visit your campsite. Horses and alpacas on-site. Owners live off the grid using solar power as their only source. We don’t want to commercialise our property keeping it as natural as possible. Phone service is limited with access in high grounds areas. There are some 4wd sites available, please message the host to discuss this. Owners live onsite, so if you have any questions or need further information please ask! There are no amenities here, campers will need to be totally self sufficient and leave no trace when you go. The camp is located 2 hours from Brisbane, 1 hour from Toowoomba. 15 minutes down the road you'll find the unique town of Crows Nest, which has great historic sites, restaurants, pubs and shops. 30 minutes drive away you can visit the Muntapa Tunnel, a heritage-listed tunnel from Narko-Nutgrove Road, Highgrove through to Nutgrove. It was designed by Queensland Railways and built from 1910 to 1913 by Queensland Railways. Bunya mountains are an hours drive.

All sites have mountain views. Can take walks up into the hills which are littered with rock formations some into overhanging rocks forming shallow caves. Grass trees abound. Dams with cray fish. Crystal clear creek ideal for swimming which is seasonal. This property holds a number of rescued and rehomed animals. Not a working farm just 200 acres to enjoy. 15 min to crows nest falls. 45 min to Coombs falls. 30 min to spring bridge at cooyar. 1 hr to bunya mountains. 15 min to crows nest town ship which have a number of cafes, restaurants walk. Bullockys rest crows nest has a short walk to The Pump Hole where crows nest use to pump town water from.

A great camp, so good we stayed longer than planned. Plenty of firewood, quiet, wonderful responsive hosts and we even got to do some yabbying.

Delightful & responsive hosts and a peaceful site overlooking a dam. Tried our hand at tabbing but too cold, we assume. Plenty of firewood provided. Close enough for some great walks in Crows Nest NP and easy access to town if needed. Stayed an extra night as enjoyed so much. Would definitely return.

Good camping area, though the access gate could be wider to take the caravan. I damaged one side scraping through the gate

My daughters & I loved our secluded camp site behind the dam on Cindy & Delano’s property. The beautiful ponies, horses, alpacas, pigs & dogs were a real treat. Cindy & Deano were so welcoming & even gave us fire wood to help fend off the cold! Thanks guys!

This camp site was amazing!! Very private and beautiful views all around. The hosts were fantastic and very friendly and patient with our group (6 20 year olds). We definitely will be coming back here another time

We camped in a tent on Cindy's property and had a lovely experience 🥰 Her and Dean were so welcoming and really did make us feel at home! Our little one loved to see all of the animals especially the pigs and horses ❤️ We were the only campers and had the choice of any spot we wanted. We camped next to the dam which was lovely and clean and dipped our feet in. We also tried our luck catching some crayfish and had success! Everything needs to be improved. Your advertising was so far fetched. Was a waste of time and money getting there to me who didn't even bother getting out of the car. Also the said refund you were returning has not showed up for two weeks thus far.
