Looking for somewhere for a few nights away from home, and this place popped up on the map.
What a great place to relax!
We were greeted at the gate by Steff and family and shown into the site. We had the place to ourselves, and found a nice spot to setup.
We were kindly offered the use of a fire place during our stay, but decided that the wood stacked high would've been too much for the two of us, so used a little of the wood in our own fire-pit.
It was great to meet Steff and her family, and meet some of the many farm animals. Our dog enjoyed her stay, too.

Beautiful spot, really quiet and peaceful. Steph and Luke were really lovely and welcoming and more than happy to chat and show us and our kids around. If we pass through the area again we will be sure to stay.

Great spot to camp. The paddock is neat and tidy. Cows right on the other side of the fence. Hosts we're great accommodating us with our dog. Would stay again
A great spot under the trees, listening to the birds and saw ducks with their babies. Cycled into town, so close. The family was friendly and helpful.

Was a great little get away in a beautiful part of the world! Very lovely family-run property who were very welcoming but also respected our privacy. Must try the bakery in town !

We would absolutely stay again. Very tranquil and beautiful spot to camp. Hosts are friendly but respectful of privacy. Lovely spot to just relax and unwind. Dogs got zapped by the electric fence but thats life and they are fine.

Super peaceful and wholesome! There was plenty of space for us to set up our tent. The cows were super cute, and we even got to hold the baby chicks! Would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is looking for an accessible yet peaceful stay :)

We had a lovely couple of days at Steph’s place. Very quiet, peaceful surrounds just out of town with shady trees. Luke & Steph were very welcoming and friendly whilst at the same time respecting our privacy and space.
We will definitely be back.
Beautiful landscape. Shady tree coverage. Such wonderful warm hosts. We loved meeting the animals and watching the morning milking. The kids had such fun playing.

The have a menagerie of animals to keep the kids entertained. A small and cozy property set in a rural bush setting. Lovley hosts and other guests This made it an enjoyable time. Thaks Team.
What a wonderful little find. Tucked into the back blocks of Blackbutt is a little space to hide under the canopy of tall gums, lovely breezes and welcoming hosts.
Luke, Steff and their kids went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and settled before moving onto the farm activities depending on the time of day.
Cows, chickens and dogs all doing their own thing whilst we did ours. We were lucky enough to stay on the 3rd Sunday weekend which meant the Blackbutt Markets were running.... add in Yarraman on the Saturday and a little dirt road to Bernakin and you can easily fill your days.
I would love to review the markets but alas, after a lazy morning of coffee and pancakes, the afternoons were filled with a little rum and a lot of ukulele playing and siestas.
The night time is where it comes into its own though.... super starry nights even with a fuller moon and quiet... so quiet that it felt like I was the noisiest person in the whole of Blackbutt! Couple this with a fire that was generously stoked by the hosts and it was a late night of warmth, laughs and reflection.
Forget Eggs and bread. Seriously. Free range eggs can be bought prior to arriving and are better than anything from the Duopoly that we usually get. Couple this a Sour Dough loaf of bread made by Steff and like us, you are set for a couple of days.
A big credit to Luke, Steff and the kids for the work to make this little place special... we will go back but this time on the other side of the drive.
