Thankyou for your cooperation 🔥🚫 A beautiful hideaway for off-grid campers with breathtaking views across the Pimpimbudgee Valley in the South Burnett. Camp overnight or for a relaxing week away on a 200 Acre working cattle farm. See our lovely herd of cows, calves and ponies and explore our Creek, Rockpools and Dams. We're on Instagram and Facebook as Tinara Pastured Beef - jump on and follow us and get the insiders scoop on every corner of our property! THINGS TO DO Plenty of room to ride mountain bikes or stroll through the countryside. Walk down to seasonal Jones Creek, explore the rock pools or sit and admire the wonderful view and enjoy the peace and quiet. A great spot for birdwatching with 31 species located on the property. Nearby to Maidenwell’s Coomba Falls and a short drive to the Bunya Mountains with many kilometres of rainforest walks. Local pub, cafe and dump point are a short drive away in Maidenwell. Maidenwell pub does an amazing Pig on the Spit if you are there the last Saturday of the month and great Pizzas! The Maidenwell Trading Post general store/cafe has an awesome vintage Western Clothing & Boots room! We recommend taking a few carrots to tempt the ponies over for a pat. WHO WE SUIT Fully self-contained, 4wd and off-grid campers only. Caravans, camper trailers, tents - all welcome. You will need your own water, camp toilet and to take all rubbish with you - leave no trace. Dump points for toilet and rubbish are located in Maidenwell. You absolutely need a camp toilet to stay with us, we do not tolerate toilet paper being left in our paddocks where it's a safety risk to us and a choking hazard for our ponies, cattle/calves. Oh and you must love cattle, because you'll see them plenty!! We keep things as close to mother nature as possible, we're not a tourist/caravan park on purpose and that's why our guests choose us! It's back to basics at its finest. Camping here was how we first fell in love with the beauty of our property and the sole reason we opened the opportunity to share it with a handful of others. Private campsites - Only 3 campsites/groups on the entire property ensures a very private bush camping experience. All 3 sites are set well apart from each other. - Lower Valley View - Creekside 'The Glen' - The Hill Please read full descriptions of the 3 individual camp sites before booking as they all offer differing vehicle access requirements and views/settings. You'll also need to read directional messages as they come through post-booking as there is no on-farm signage or lighting by design. VEHICLE ACCESS All sites are 4WD and off-road caravan access only (not suitable for 'soft' 4wd's). Please do not book THE HILL campsite unless you are an experienced and competent offroad 4WDér, especially if you're towing a caravan. LOWER VALLEY VIEW requires the least amount of 4WD experience to access. CREEKSIDE also requires off-road experience to access if towing a caravan or camper. Please note our original hipcamp and only all-wheel-drive site, Main Camp, is now permanently unavailable due private use. FIRES Stone Fire pits are available on all sites. Please practice safe fire management (we are currently in a drought-declared area after significantly lower rainfall this year). Firewood can be pre-ordered with notice as an extra add-on via the hip-camp app (no BYO firewood due biosecurity risk). No bonfires or unattended fires. No burning of rubbish in firepits and fires must be completely out upon departure. During hot, dry weather (upcoming 26/27 Summer) we may enforce a fire ban on our property (often at short notice) if we deem necessary for the safety of our livestock, please check with us first if a fire is a non-negotiable for you. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE We offer an earlier check-in time than most so you can make the most of your stay. Check-in time; 11am onwards Check-out time; by 10am Late night check-ins aren't recommended to ensure the comfort of other campers already onsite and because it can be tricky to navigate the property in the dark. IMPORTANT NOTES You MUST have a self-contained toilet. NO BUSH TOILETS! We wouldn't go to the toilet in your backyard, so don't go in ours! Upon inspection, if you do not have a self-contained toilet you will be asked to leave the property immediately and no refund will be given. We're a working cattle farm first and foremost, you'll see us out and about if we have cattle work or jobs to do. Disclaimer - The images shown in our listings show our property at various times of the year, what you get at the time of your trip will be totally dependant on mother nature. You will receive property directions, campsite specific directions and property rules on Hipcamp messages only once you have booked. MINIMUM STAYS October long weekend - 2 night min. Other Qld long weekends - 2 night min. Christmas Long weekend - 3 night min. New Years Long weekend - 2 night min. Australia day - extra long weekend - 2 night min. Easter long weekend - 3 night min. WHAT NOW? 1. Choose your site, dates and request your booking. 2. Booking will be approved from our end and any questions answered. 3. Book firewood in advance - add as an extra - we will approve. 4. Watch out for our automated messages sequence in the Hipcamp app. You need these for directions! 5. Upon Booking you receive directions to just our property entrance. 6. 48 hours prior (or immediately if a last minute booking) you receive directions to your specific campsite and our Property rules - please ensure you read them & acknowledge receipt to ensure a smooth and safe trip! 7. Arrive, set-up and enjoy the serenity! :)

A stone fireplace overlooking the valley is the perfect way to while away an evening under the stars. Lose yourself for a few nights, you could be anywhere! This site is our most accessible campsite however a 4wd is still required and an off-road caravan recommended. Please read full property description over on the main listing. Head down to the seasonal creek to explore the rock pools under the shade of the Calistemon trees. A stone fire-pit overlooks the valley. Very private spot (w phone coverage) perfect for relaxing. Head over to our Main Dam and enjoy the tranquility. Accessed via hilly terrain and a dry creek bed, you will need off-road 4WD experience and capability. A 4wd with low range is essential and an off-road caravan highly recommended. Please read full property description over on the main listing. The creek is seasonal however many rock pools remain to explore under the shade of the Calistemon trees. Very private and protected spot in the valley (no phone coverage) perfect for bird-watching. Head up and sit by our Main Dam and enjoy the tranquility. Accessed via hilly terrain and 2 (mostly) dry creek beds a 4wd is essential and an off-road caravan highly recommended. Very relaxing peaceful location. Fairly dry at the moment due to recent lack of rain but that did not detract from the scenery. The curious ponies were a nice addition. Make sure you bring carrots 😄

Beautiful spot to pull up for a few nights. I wanted to take my lady out for a weekend away from the city and Tinara really provided. It was so peaceful and quiet, we will definitely be visiting again.

Really beautiful open paddock with stunning views across the valley, particularly at sunset! So far from the next campers so great for a secluded camping option. We had three caravans and large 4wd vehicles and still had plenty of space to enjoy. And the little baby calves were adorable! A very pleasant weekend in deed, with close access to the bunya mountains 🤗

Amazingly peaceful. When you stay here take the time to stop and listen….you’ll hear nothing but a few birds in the distance. Sunsets, sunrises and the night sky are amazing. Quentin & Tamara are really nice. A property to respect so we can all continue to enjoy it.

My partner and I loved camping here! We had such great views and the experience was incredible. Cute friendly ponies became our friend, and cows everywhere! It was honestly one of the best camping spots we’ve been to so far and would definitely go again!

Our spot by the Creekside was very peaceful and relaxing with no outside noise and a big fire pit. We loved sitting under the shade of the trees and enjoyed our walks around the property. The horses and cows were fantastic company during our stay.

We just spent 3 nights camping on this beautiful 200-acre cattle farm and honestly didn’t want to leave! The views were absolutely stunning — wide open spaces, peaceful surroundings, and the kind of scenery that instantly helps you unwind. The lower valley view camp felt calm, private, and incredibly relaxing. One of the highlights was the animals — they were gorgeous and often wandered close by, surrounding us at times, which made the experience feel even more special and immersive. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty of space and breathtaking views, this spot is definitely worth it. We’ll be back for sure ☺️

We (family of 4 - mum / dad and 2 boys, 5 & 7) had a great time off grid at Tinara. “The Glen” is a great site next to a creek with some short walks exploring the farm. We met cows and ponies, had great camp fires and enjoyed the seclusion of the camp site - felt so private and like you’re really in the wilderness. Our hosts were very welcoming and we had great chats with them. Very enjoyable 3-night stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tinara "The Glenn Creek Side" it was peaceful, quiet, tidy and a very relaxed and secluded area and atmosphere. You feel like you are the only people on the farm because the campsites are so private. We got to enjoy beautiful scenery while also watching their beautiful cattle grazing not far from our camp site. We had the pleasure of meeting Tamara and she was very welcoming and a great host. We also ordered firewood as there is a great fire pit at the camp site, we were impressed with the amount of fire wood in the bags for $15 each. We took our Maremma with and she really enjoyed being walked around the beautiful farm. We will definitely be staying at Tinara again! Thank you Quentin and Tamara for having us. See you next time!
