We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. Bev and Ian were perfect hosts. They have thought of absolutely everything - right down to the hamper of luxuries and great quality bath products. Everything is provided - just bring food and drinks. For those who want to camp with luxury this is fantastic. Baths under the stars are a highlight and the tent is superb. Ian's lanscaping and waterfalls are fantastic and Bev's touches are apparent throughout. Well worth the money for the solitude. five stars.

Booked a one night stay here for my girlfriend and I’s 1 year anniversary. I got to say it was absolutely perfect. The owner Bev was incredibly kind, I had contacted her prior to the stay to set up an anniversary surprise and she nailed it. Had the most beautiful flowers on the bed along with rose petals set up in a heart, chocolates, face masks, candles for the baths, and that’s not even half of it. Not to mention the campsite was beautiful had plenty privacy, would 1000% recommend to stay here and we will definitely be returning again.

Our family had such a wonderful weekend away at Anita’s beautiful property. It was so peaceful, we explored the area on foot, along the creek and also in our 4WD up to a lookout high on the ridge. The horses visited us at our cabin several times, which was a highlight. The cabin was so private we felt like we had the property to ourselves. Definitely need a 4WD! And the drive to Anita’s property is so beautiful too.

Me and my partner stayed here and we have to say it was the most beautiful & tranquil stay we have had so far in Australia. Bev & Ian were so lovely, helpful and attentive. The photos really do not do it justice. From the little welcome hamper, to the outside bathtubs looking at the stary sky it was absolutely incredible. We enjoyed a lovely stay at dragonfly cottage. It has everything you could possibly need and the kitchen is very well appointed. The bathroom and outdoor toilet is very luxurious and we felt like it was a hotel standard of bathroom. It was a very hot weekend but luckily there was a fan in the cottage that ran off 12 V power so we managed to stay cool at night. Perfect for a couple, I think it might be a stretch with more than two adults. Glen was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely consider coming back.

Beautiful location to rest and recuperate. Lou goes out of her way to communicate prior to your arrival to confirm your needs such as additional food packages or dietary requirements. She and Greg were there to greet us on arrival and show us around. The amenities are clean and have all the creature comforts for a relaxing stay from slippers and bathrobes to bath salts, and a selection of hot beverages with choccie bikkies. Pro's - Lovely hosts who have made an effort to create a relaxing private space. All cooking needs were provided for so you only need to bring your own clothes. Comfortable bed. Beautiful views out to Glasshouse mountains. Shaded areas provided to relax. Hubby is already planning on buying a hammock it was so comfortable! Con's - Relatively close to neighbours (albeit that the site is designed so that you can't see them and vice versa). Some road noise from trucks at times but lots of bird life to focus on instead. Not much to do unless you hop in the car and drive somewhere however Lou has made an effort to include some games and also directions to waterholes. If you just want to relax and read a book like us - perfect. Overall a very enjoyable stay and lovely thoughtful hosts.

Lee Farmstay was born in 2005, when the dairy and beef industries proved challengingand it was decided it would be a good decision to start up a farmstay because it would be a good idea to have a stable income and get city people to experience life on the farm." There are many ways to spend your time during your stay with us. Go for a stroll or cycle around the farm, try to catch a fish in the dam (you'll need to bring your own fishing supplies), play with and feed the animals or play board games. We have a sauna to sweat out the toxins and stress of city living. We also have a trampoline and swing set for children or the young at heart. Finally, end your day with a mouthwatering BBQ and toasting marshmallows around the fire while you gaze up at the stars! Our accommodation is ideal for those wanting to escape the hussle and bussle of city living, for families (especially those with small children who'd love to spend time with farm animals), romantic weekend getaways, groups or clubs (including business and family/friends) and those simply passing through the area. And of course, we're pet friendly! We offer a large Queenslander home and 4 cottages, all built with comfort and convenience in mind. Our farm is home to a wide variety of friendly animals. There are goats, alpacas, chooks, sheep, miniature horses, guinea pigs, birds, peacocks, dogs, cats, cows, turkeys and ducks! You're able to join us in feeding the animals at approximately 8am and 4pm; this is a particularly special experience for children of all ages! You're also welcome to take part in other farm activities when they occur, including collecting chicken eggs in the afternoon!
