Bunderra Springs is an Operating Avocado Farm situated on 137 acres Located 4 kms from the town of Blackbutt. With plenty to see and experience including the Local Pub - Radnor Hotel, Eateries, Bakery, Janet Skinner Gallery, Roy Emmerson Museum and Unique Shops, relax in the Les Muller Park, regular markets and events in the Showground or play a round at the Blackbutt Golf Club. The town is also a gateway to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, which offers cycling opportunities with shuttle services available. Close by is the State Forest. Also there is good phone coverage over most of the block. The farm has a number of dams, one being quite large and very refreshing on a hot day, lots of wildlife and magnificent 180 views, at night the sky will take your breath away. Contained Fires allowed - never leave unattended Respect our Trees - your welcome to walk through the orchard and around the property No Driving between the trees 20km speed limit Strictly NO Admittance to Buildings Camp anywhere away from residence and shed Respect other campers wanting peace and quiet Take out everything you bring in You must be self contained Fire wood available - honest box $15 a bag Bring push bikes or walk around to explore the block and surrounds Good internet coverage High altitude with lovely open space Dogs welcome :) please keep them on a lead PICK YOUR OWN SITE: 1. BAMBOO BLOCK - At entrance gate Turn RIGHT and go through an open gate with a border of Bamboo and Large Pine Trees, you will have views over the State Forest. 2. Closed WEST DAM - At entrance gate Turn hard LEFT, go past the Big Blue Shed & Residence (respect privacy) and camp anywhere on the block. You will have views of the Tarong Power Station at Nanango and see the lights of the neighboring townships. 3. Closed TALL TREE VALLEY - At entrance gate continue straight down the centre of the block to a number of dams go right or left to camp anywhere. If you want an area mowed let us know. Although picking and packing Avocados is only four months of the year during winter, outside these months we concentrate on keeping the trees happy so we may be working in the orchard maintaining and preparing for our next crop. We hope you enjoy your stay.Bamboo Paddock is situated on the East side of the Property (RHS looking from the road) and has views over the State Forest and past the row of Pine Trees over looking the neighboring paddock. Bamboo Block is approx. 50 acres with plenty of room to choose your own Camping site. Good for an overnight stop or a couple of days to relax and explore a working Avocado Orchard. Your welcome to walk or ride pushbikes around the 137 acre Avocado Farm (4km perimeter) and in between the Avocado trees enjoying to the local wildlife, Including Wallabies, Deer and Bird life. We are surrounded by the Blackbutt Range, this forest features a scenic drive through rainforest, hoop pine plantations, and eucalypt forests containing blackbutt, tallowwood, white mahogany, gums and ironbarks. The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and Bicentennial National Trail pass through it. The local town of Blackbutt has some great shops to explore including the local Radnor Pub and Bakery. Site can be slippery when wet, 4wd is recommended. This site has good service for devices if needed.

Bamboo Paddock is situated on the East side of the Property (RHS looking from the road) and has views over the State Forest and past the row of Pine Trees over looking the neighboring paddock. Bamboo Block is approx. 50 acres with plenty of room to choose your own Camping site. Good for an overnight stop or a couple of days to relax and explore a working Avocado Orchard. Your welcome to walk or ride pushbikes around the 137 acre Avocado Farm (4km perimeter) and in between the Avocado trees enjoying to the local wildlife, Including Wallabies, Deer and Bird life.
