Coorabell creek farmstay is 30acres of hilly country made up of a mixture of forests, gullys, creeks and horse paddocks.
the main camping site is the creek flat in a large shady area with a swimming hole in the freshwater springfed creek with campfire and log seats.
there is an alternative camping site for wet weather in the front stone circle paddock 50mtrs from the creek bank. this area is a grassed paddock with morning shade but full sun throughout the day. there is no mobile reception on the property but a short walk up the driveway a few hundred meters away you can get reception at the property entrance should you need to make calls or get/snd msgs..
Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches.
Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches.
National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request.
other activities that can be booked at additional cost include Didgeridoo Making workshops for adults and didgeridoo painting workshops for kids. this is a full day activity for adults and a half day activity for kids doing didgeridoo painting workshops. please enquire for more info and prices.

Our Hinterland hideaway, Booyong farm is Nestled in the beautiful Clunes hills. With a combination of natural bush and 600 grand old macadamia trees, Booyong Farm can give you that private off grid experience while being only 5 minutes to Clunes Store and Cellars (which has great food, coffee, groceries, fruit / veg, alcohol and a postoffice), 15 minutes to Bangalow, 20 minutes to Lismore and 30 minutes to Byron Bay.
Alongside our old horse Sunny, our Chooks, the Cows and our dogs Bowie and Naboo :) there is abundant wildlife on the property such as wallabies, echidnas, platypus, eagles and a wide variety of other birdlife.
Choose from 3 sites in either the Main Farm Plateau (Site 1), Creekside (Site 2) or the Macadamia field Site 3).
Note: for Creekside and Macadamia Field access you will need a 4WD. All sites offer privacy for guests and have a great view of the stunning sunsets we have each day at Booyong Farm.
The spring fed freshwater creek is accessible year round for all sites and is nice to cool off in after a bush walk, either on the property or at one of the many breath-taking locations nearby.

Relax at our scenic farm, just 20 minutes from Kyogle at the base of the Border Ranges National Park. Our property is a 200 acre working cattle farm with resident cows, calves and Gus the bull. All camp sites are located along the creek with amazing swimming holes and plenty of space for a caravan or tent.

All sites are at least 50m apart and whether 2 or 20 in your group the site is allocated to you only to creat privacy. All sites have there own creek access so you wont be sharing with other campers.

We loved camping by the river at Eltham, so much space for each campsite with beautiful views across the paddock and cows! They were so kind to meet us at the gate and take us to our spot and had prepared some kindling for us. Definitely will be back!

We recently stayed at Site 3 and honestly had such a beautiful camping trip. The creek was absolutely amazing — clear, peaceful and perfect for a swim. It made the whole stay feel extra special. The site itself is nice and open, which was fantastic for solar, and there was plenty of space for the dogs to run around freely and cool off in the water. They had the best time!
Bronwyn was wonderful to deal with — super easy to communicate with and very helpful leading up to our stay, which always makes a difference.
The only downside was that there isn’t any signage directing you into the camp, so it can be a little tricky to find your site at first. The grass was also a bit long in some spots, and the fire pits had grass growing around them over knee height. A quick tidy-up in those areas working really elevate the experience.
Overall though, it’s a great spot and we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with creek access and plenty of open space. We’ll definitely be back — that’s for sure! 🌿🔥🐾

Tristan was super kind and friendly and came down to say hi to us and also gave us heaps of recommendations of what to do in the area. We had an awesome stay at Riverbend Retreat. The campground is set right above the river, with the water literally running just below the site, which makes for an unreal backdrop the whole time you’re there. The river itself is crystal clear and perfect for swimming, relaxing, or just sitting back and taking it all in.
For anyone into fishing, this spot is a winner — there’s some cracking bass fishing right out front, especially early morning and late arvo. It’s one of those places that feels peaceful and secluded but still has everything you need for a great camping getaway.

Felt like we had our own private forest. Excellent drop toilet close to camp. My dog was super happy there, lots of space and a very tranquil environment. The location is great for its easy access to the coast. Tristan was accommodating and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended. Would definitely return.

Cannot stress enough how great this place is.
Waze did try and steer us incorrectly but you can see where you need to be and get there easily.
Camp-site is a nice size patch beside the river which easily fitted out party of 10 adults 6 kids and 3 dogs. With an undercover picnic table and fire pit.
We even spotted a platypus feeding in the rapids near the swimming hole
Overall a great long weekend had by all

Absolutely amazing spot. Heaps of room right on the creek beautiful surroundings. Couldn’t have asked for a better setting for our campsite. Bronwyn popped in to say hi to make sure we were good.( we had some issues working out what where and when getting there,we had a bit of a dumb moment) Would highly recommend this place to everyone. Heaps of room between camps. The creek running through is amazing just perfect to cool off in. We will be back.
