Welcome to our farm, a peaceful retreat nestled in the lush hinterland of Northern NSW’s Northern Rivers region. Bordering the World Heritage-listed Nightcap National Park and the pristine Terania Creek, this is a sanctuary for those looking to disconnect from the noise and truly immerse themselves in the Australian bush. THE LAND & LOCATION Our property offers a unique gateway to the ancient subtropical rainforest. Whether you are here for adventure or a quiet escape, the landscape provides the perfect backdrop. Protesters Falls: Just 2.8km away (a 6-minute drive), this is one of the region’s most spectacular walks through towering Bangalow Palms to the base of the falls. Creek Life: Terania Creek flows right past your site. Spend your mornings spotting the elusive platypus or afternoons swimming in private natural holes. We’ve added a hammock by the water for the ultimate relaxation spot. Hinterland Gems: Use the farm as your base to explore The Channon Craft Markets, or take a scenic drive to the vibrant villages of Nimbin and Mullumbimby. THINGS TO NOTE Access: The road in features some classic country potholes. It is easily manageable in a 2WD, but we recommend taking it slow. Nature: This is a living farm. We provide repellent, but please bring a tick-safety kit and ensure pets are up to date with treatments. Sustainability: We are a "Leave No Trace" property. Please be prepared to take all rubbish with you to help us keep this environment pristine. YOUR COMFORT While this is an off-grid experience, we have added thoughtful facilities to make your stay easy, including a large timber gazebo, multiple dining spots, a clean eco-composting toilet, and a refreshing outdoor shower. We supply a tap for general use, but recommend bringing your own drinking supply. Enjoy the fresh country air and spend your nights stargazing under incredibly clear skies. On-Site Facilities We have put a lot of work into making this site a comfortable home base for your adventures: The Gazebo: A large 4m x 4m timber gazebo serves as your central hub. It is the perfect spot for undercover cooking, dining, or relaxing out of the sun and weather. It provides a great sense of security if the hinterland weather turns. Dining Zones: You are spoilt for choice with three separate picnic tables. One is located under the gazebo for all-weather dining, one is by the campfire for evening yarns and marshmallow roasting, and a third is right on the creek bank for a peaceful morning coffee. Amenities: No need to bring your own toilet—we provide access to a clean, eco-friendly composting toilet and a refreshing outdoor shower to wash off the day's hike. Creek Access: Your site features direct access to private swimming holes in Terania Creek. We have recently installed a hammock by the water—there is no better place to swing in the shade and listen to the water flow. Adventure and Location We are situated just 2.8km from the world-class Protesters Falls in Nightcap National Park. This is a must-see destination, featuring a spectacular walk through towering Bangalow Palms. After exploring the trails, return to your private sanctuary for a swim or to spot the local wildlife. Early mornings often reveal the elusive platypus in our creek, while the evenings come alive with the sounds of native birds and frogs. Self-Sufficiency and Safety Water and Power: We supply a tap for general camp use, but please bring your own supply of drinking water. Campers must be self-sufficient for power. Waste: We are a "Leave No Trace" property—please take all rubbish with you when you leave to help us protect the local ecosystem. Ticks: We maintain the area and provide repellent, but please bring your own safety kit and ensure pets are treated before arrival.

Loved our weekend stay at Protesters Falls Farm Retreat Creek Camp! Beautiful flowing creek with stunning serenity! Very clean amenities with everything you could possibly need on site! Hosts were super friendly and helpful! We 100% recommend this Hipcamp stay was such a delight!

If you're looking for somewhere to relax, unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of the real world, look no further. This property right by the flowing creek (amazing to fall asleep to) was just stunningly beautiful. The creek and water holes were amazing, but it's was the little touches by the owners that really made an amazing stay for my partner, myself and our doggo. They provided outdoor games for us to enjoy, the had clean bathroom facilities (that are great for the environment), there was an awesome swing by the creek that swung you under the trees and they provided blow up couches for us to relax on while floating down the creek on, which was honestly the best part of the stay for us. Couldn't recommend more strongly to visit this gorgeous site.

This was a wonderful spot, you have the whole site to yourself which is great if you're a noisy bunch! The creek was gorgeous to swim in, we had some heavy rainfall so there were plenty of leeches and ticks but with the dogs on nexgard they were fine. Protestor falls 10mins down the road was well worth the trip!

Beautiful spot, the kids enjoyed playing on the creek & we loved that there was a swing there to entertain the kids while we set up, Amenities are clean & tidy and Peter has put thought into the little extra things that make a difference.

This was our second visit, and it was even better than the first! The newly finished bathroom facilities are a fantastic addition and made our stay feel much more complete. Even with the warmer weather, the water temperature was perfectly refreshing. Our hosts were wonderful—they stopped by to say hi and shared some great tips on local spots to visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Dreamy little camp site !… It’s pretty special Great that there is sun shade provided in the paddock in the morning, and come the afternoon the creek has shade. Protester falls are really impressive! Definitely worth an afternoon visit The camp sight is very simple but Peter has done well building a composting toilet structure. The water temps were beautiful for Dec. bring bug spray and a flotation device for the creek. The roads driving there aren’t wonderful and feel like they go on and on. Pack what you need because it’s quite remote. Also we loved it but it’s very off grid… No signal.

It was amazing private clean area, the creek was fantastic , perfect surroundings. Peter was lovely but left us alone , great communication. Take bug spray and if you take a pet make sure it is treated for tick, flees, mites. My dog was infested after 24 hours because she likes to roll around and she is treated monthly without fail .

What an amazing property. The creek was perfect for our family. The block is cleared with some level spots for our van. The host dropped by and couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly. We loved the privacy of the site and being close to Protestors Falls was a bonus. We spotted the platypus a few times too. We loved it.

The spot was fantastic, it was big and open, and directions getting there were clear. The creek was absolutely gorgeous, a little cold- to be expected this time of year- but if you walk just down stream into the sun its perfect. There was a friendly goanna who wandered around but left us alone for the most part. Bring bug spray! The owners are super friendly, communicative, and keep to themselves where they can. They informed us of the waterfall just up the road from site that we didnt have the time to fully explore, but took my breath away regardless. Bring Bug Spray! Will definitely be returning

What an absolute hidden gem! This private campsite is pure paradise. The creek is crystal clear and constantly flowing, perfect for swimming and cooling off on hot days. Surrounded by a stunning tropical backdrop, it feels like you’ve escaped into your own secluded oasis. Its ideal as you have the whole place to yourself. The peace, the beauty, and the natural setting made for the most relaxing stay. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough—we’ll definitely be back!

This site is absolutely beautiful. The open paddock has lots of nice flat space to set up camp and park cars, and features a firepit and full size picnic table. There's a flat area a couple of metres wide and small picnic table down by the creek, and that was definitely the prime spot to spend our time. The rainforest surrounding the creek is very lush and we were lucky enough to see a platypus swimming around for about 15 minutes one evening. The stargazing was also fantastic. The upper paddock area was well shaded in the morning, and the creek-side area was well shaded in the afternoon, so we didn't even need a gazebo. A few notes: - there were a lot of ticks on the site, so make sure you're prepared with tick removal tools and that any pets you bring are up to date on their treatments - there are some large potholes on the road in so drive carefully and slowly (no issues in our small car) - there's no toilet on site, but there are public toilets less than 10 minutes further up the road at the national park day use area which were very easy to access (even at night)

The campsite is so close to Protesters Falls. The other side of the creek from the campsite is national park. It's pristine and beautiful. You couldn't find a better location. Peter was super responsive when I contacted him with questions before we booked. Everything was as described!
