Hi, an update: please note that due to roadworks in Mullumbimby, the Council is diverting southbound traffic out of that town along Myocum Rd, thus there will be increased traffic at commute times. Your campsite is on a grassy knoll of Myocum Farm with sweeping views of farmland and the Byron lighthouse in the distance. You will be the sole visitors and thus have all the space and amenities to yourself. Your onsite amenities include: a firepit with benches and table, bbq plates, free kindling, firewood available to buy, a hot private outdoor shower, your own flushing toilet, a tap and handsoap, a bucket and hose, bins for recycling and rubbish, a swing, and a small cubbyhut with board games and a bocce and cricket set. Please note our rates are very competitive and cover 3 visitors in our base rate. During your stay you can just kick back and relax overlooking the farm which produces beef cattle and fingerlimes, but with the convenient distance to towns and beaches, you can also use it as a base to very easily explore all the region has to offer: Byron Bay and Bangalow (15 mins), Brunswick Heads (10 mins), and Mullumbimby (6 mins), all offering great dining, local market, and retail experiences. the area has a plethora of activities to pursue: swimming, walking, fishing, great surfing, sea kayaking, ballooning, skydiving, horseriding, golf (eg renowned Ocean Shores golf club is 20 minutes away), and the wonderful rail trail for bikers or walkers can be accessed at Mooball, a picturesque 20 min drive away or try out the new mountain bike trail at the vey pretty township of Uki in the hinterland. Beautiful waterfalls are less than a half hour drive away. There are local businesses who can help you pursue these kinds of activities if you don't bring your own equipment.

We so enjoyed our 3 nights at the farm. Allan and Ngaire are very welcoming. This place is above and beyond what is expected at a Hipcamp. Hot shower with a view and immaculately clean toilet facilities, fire pits benches to enjoy the view. Well kept lawn. Views everywhere. We had heaps of space. We will be back for sure.

Gorgeous spot, so peaceful and with incredible views. The toilet, outdoor shower and playroom are fantastic. My 4 year old spent most of her time in there, and the hosts even put out pictures for her to colour in which we so appreciated. All this plus the bonus swing, fire pits and benches. We are planning our return trip already, honestly couldn’t fault it. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to The Hidden Gem

This was a fantastic campground and experience. Vili is a wonderful host who even gave us the opportunity to feed the kookaburras as well as tell us some history of the land. I highly recommend this spot to anyone seeking a serene, peaceful getaway. We did the walk to the waterfalls (about 2 hours return but give yourself 3) directly from the property. Its a steep climb up but was well marked with strong around the trees to show you the way. The facilities were super clean and all the wildlife really added to the experience. Thank you Vili for a wonderful stay and break from the city.

Wonderful night stay! Despite being reasonably close to Allan’s house, it was so private and quiet. Love the swing, picnic table, and cubby house, but the selling point was the HOT shower under the stars! 🤩 Such a calming place to unwind overlooking the cow paddocks and mountains.

Allan was friendly and welcoming upon arrival and did us a real solid by zipping up our tents when rain came while we were out exploring, saved us from having an unpleasant night. We had the best weekend ever! 🌿 The place is absolutely beautiful, such a hidden gem surrounded by nature. We came with friends, our friend’s 1-year-old baby, and 3 doggies, and it was just perfect. Everything was super clean and well looked after, and you can really feel the love and care that goes into this place. The kookaburras were amazing to see, and we loved how sustainable everything is. Vili was awesome, always checking in to make sure we were safe and having a good time. Couldn’t have asked for a better host or a better spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Thanks again, Vili, for sharing this little paradise with us, we’ll definitely be back! 🏕️

It's a beautiful piece of land, and really well set up, having the shower and toilets makes camping life that much easier and the cabin/common area means even in bad weather there's a cosy spot to keep warm and dry. We had lovely clear views of the surrounding hills and night sky and a loved the swimming hole in the creek that runs by down the hill. Vili was a cool character, very friendly and lots of good info and recommendations for the surrounding area.
