Comprising around 50 acres with around 10 of those being cleared paddock and the balance of bush land. 20 mins drive south from Jindabyne, the land starts at 1250m where our two dams are sited, with the top of the land at 1400m as you wind you’re way through the bush tracks that traverse through the property. The upper dam has been stocked with brook trout making for fun fishing with kids.

Located directly off the highway, our little piece of country paradise is easy access and the perfect weekend getaway or stop on the way to the snowy mountains. Our campground is nestled amongst 200 acres of farm land where campers are welcome to stretch their legs and witness the beautiful views of the Tinderry Mountains from the hill tops. Along the way say hi to the cows and our beautiful Clydesdale. The Michelago General Store is only a hop skip jump away, where you can treat yourself to a barista made coffee, warm homemade meal or restock food supplies. The Petrol Station is also only 100m down the road. Camp fires are welcome within the fire pits, but please bring your own wood. All fires must be put out at night and before you leave. A portable camp toilet can be provided upon request. All we ask is that you respect and enjoy our farm as much as we do.

Great spot right off the highway. Host is amazing, good communication, friendly and inviting. We felt like family friends stopping by. Good flat spot and was still private and quiet enough to feel like you had your own space. Price was also really good for a family just wanting a basic and quick overnight stop.

Extremely private, whole property to ourselves. We had a group of 9 and plenty of room! Spot next the the damn was gorgeous, the stars were so clear and the sound of the frogs was just spectacular. The bush walks around the property were so pretty and rugged, really showing off the mountain landscape! The sunset from the back fence of the property is a must! Very close to Jindabyne and all the shops there. And the in the other direction the Snowy River was a short drive too. We stayed for 7 nights and easily couldve stayed longer! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a peaceful camp on the banks of a small creek. The 360 degree views were simply stunning. The ground was level, we had isolation, plenty of sunlight for solar charging and an excellent fire pit to sit around and cook a meal over. Our host was prompt in replying, extremely welcoming and suggested walks around her beautiful property, which were well worth doing. Although one can see the distant traffic on the Monaro Highway, it is not noisy at all. It is close to the tiny hamlet of Michelago for coffee and basic supplies.

Weekend Trip to Swan Farm

We headed from Sydney to the snow and used this as a 1 night stopover, my kids can’t make it all the way in one go after /work school etc. Great level site , didn't even need to un hook the caravan, plenty of room (our van 25ft) and just off the highway so doesn't add any travel time at all . Will stop here again next snow trip. Only down side is a little bit of highway road noise but really minor after dark.

We loved this place! Such friendly hosts, who brought us firewood and gave us a map so that we could wander up the hill (incredible views!) for a hike. When booking, Carly was very honest about the fact that you could see the service station on the main road from the site, off in the distance. This didn't bother us - we just faced our van in the opposite direction looking towards the hills. Very private site and great sun for our solar panels. Thank you!

Weekend Trip to Rainbow Pines Tourist Park

We booked a powered site (#5) and stayed in our own campervan. The site itself was on a slope which made it a bit challenging to level off. They have bbq facilities, toilets and heated showers, laundry, dry room, family room with a bath, communal fire pits around the property and a boat ramp. They are dog friendly as well. The lake is at 40% capacity at the moment and you can see how far the water had retreated. The views are amazing and it was lovely to learn a bit about the local history. Lots of great fishing spots as well as walking spots

Weekend Trip to The Wombat Farm Jindabyne

We loved setting up camp on the edge of the dam watching and listening to birds and frogs into the night. Beautiful surroundings and contains a huge bushland area we would explore next time with bikes. Handy hints: You can take water from the dam to your camp site for washing up but bring enough drinking water with you. There's also plenty of fire wood on site for the 2 fire pits but you need your own axe and equipment for fire cooking. We thoroughly recommend staying at the Wombat farm. Jason
